It that game? I think AD is the best guy because he is really hot and making good shots. And Nuggets was expecting that James will take the last shot, so they doubled on him and forget that AD was already set in the corner and I think it was really design for AD so he expected it and calmly sink it.
@Natalim - if he continue to play this competitive and hitting crucial shots, I would agree that he can be the finals MVP. And I think Lebron doesn't mind though, as long as they become the champion and closing a cinderella story (Kobe's death).

It is still the King, Lebron James as the leader of LA in my opinion. Of course, as a leader you should th last one to take the shot, but in this case, Lebron just play decoy, and the design of the play was AD. And he was prepared to do it and show that he can be a go to guy or the second option if Lebron is not available. Yes, he gain more respect with that kind of clutch shot but it doesn't mean that he is the true leader of the team. |

It would be tough call even if people think Davis is the most valuable player in Lakers we can't expect the judges to vote the same way. Remember that the one who won Finals MVP is Iguodala during the 2015 Finals and not Stephen Curry who among the fans thought he will be winning that title. It would really depend on how the judge view things and I think what they would be looking is how they are contributing all around to the team which I think Lebron James is checking all the boxes based on his stat line. |

I wish too but LeBron giving way to Davis "intentionally" just for the purpose of the latter to become a Finals MVP is not a good idea. It does mean that LeBron will not play on his usual. It will destroy the team's usual system. Just let them work as a team and don't mind the stats. Play hard, play seriously, everyone should do their best to contribute - what matters is to win. Take advantage whenever a player is hot and on fire. I know they already know what should be the gameplay if a certain player is having a bad night e.g if LBJ is having difficulty in his field goals, focus on other aspects, same goes to his teammates. |

Lebron wasn't that bad neither, people think that AD played amazingly on last minutes and Lakers owe him so much but those are people who didn't watch the game probably. At the start of the game Lakers as a whole sucked so bad but Lebron actually carried the team, probably for a whole quarter, dude had like 20 points at the half and 28 at the end because Lakers started to play good in second half.
So without Lebron, Lakers is not even close in that game, they would be losing, so that means AD wouldn't had the chance to score the game winning bucket and that is why AD is a superstar and a great player for Lakers but Lebron will always be the leader because he is the one who does the right things at the right time, he is built differently and I don't know if we will ever see a player like him.

Every last shot or last second one would really be a gamble but you wont really know the outcome if you wont try and blaming issue wont really that be that much of an issue since its part of the game. There are lots of vids that buzzer beater shot made by AD do connect or similar made by Kobe. Plumlee was just too lazy or just really had failed and believe that transition would really be on Lebron thats why he do tend to double team but theyre wrong and as said it was just a decoy.Its even clear that he isnt asking for the ball. Good thing for rondo that he had spotted AD that quick and made that nice pass. Jokic do able to recover to defend but its already late. |

I think people once again remembered that Nuggets team has great players
Everyone is starting to recognize how good Nuggets is. We can't just neglect how good they are. The closeness of their game 2 against Lakers made everyone wants to see more from them. But the last remaining seconds made a good opening for Anthony Davis which made him shot comfortably and take the lead to end the game into the hands of Lakers. Well done and good defense has been made. The underdog team before is literally a barrier to a super team. Although there is a lucky shot made by Anthony Davis, we can`t deny how Nuggets strive for a win in Game 2. I hope that they can extend more the series. I am not really fun of these two teams but I like the way they eager for a championship. From that very last minute, we all thought that it's the first win of Nuggets for their matchup with Lakers. I really thought and felt happy about them as if that's the very first win that they have but, as long as the game hasn't ended yet and there's time. A lucky three point shot has changed that feeling. Despite the lose, everyone's feeling happy and proud for the Nuggets. We'll see the game 3 later. |

I don't understand why that AD's clutch shot is considered as lucky. Did you guys check the rhythm and phase? It was his usual 3PTs form and shape. It's not a lucky shot, it was a shot on his usual. And Jokic did a great outstanding defense on that shot. It's not an open and wide shot. It was defended. It's just that AD able to get it in. |

With under five minutes in the 4th quarter, I though Lakers is going to mount a late comeback. They managed to bring the lead down to three but Nuggets pulled away again.
I fancy Nuggets chances of beating the Lakers in this series. I like how they always look the underdog but they don't really care who is in front of them hehe.

They mount a comeback, but damn, Murray is hot and closing the game with that long 3's. It's was a good comeback from the Lakers though, but it is not enough. And I still can't believe with Jokić hitting those idk what kind of shot was that  . |

Lakers 2, Nuggets 1
With under five minutes in the 4th quarter, I though Lakers is going to mount a late comeback. They managed to bring the lead down to three but Nuggets pulled away again.
I fancy Nuggets chances of beating the Lakers in this series. I like how they always look the underdog but they don't really care who is in front of them hehe.
They mount a comeback, but damn, Murray is hot and closing the game with that long 3's. It's was a good comeback from the Lakers though, but it is not enough. I thought we might see a overtime in game 3. But Nuggets is too much and makes the series more interesting. And the good thing is that they're able to have a good lead, unlike in the first two games wherein they are the one mounting a late comeback. And this give them enough cushion they lead as much as 20 at one point. What happen with these guys (Davis, Howard, McGee)? They only got 4 rebounds in total though, quite unreal considering their height, they should've at least secured 8 to 10 boards between them . Anyway, Lakers needs to step up a bit more, they got outplayed the first three quarters and it isn't something you can just ignore. And I still can't believe with Jokić hitting those idk what kind of shot was that . it would be really unexpected to see 4:0 in the finals, so this win is a good one for Denver, but i do not see them winning four games against Lakers nevertheless, think that Lakers did not started this match fully concentrated, and Denver played better than in first two matches at the beginning, and that made a difference, still making a four is a bit far for them |

Give the Nuggets some credit guys, why are you talking about the Lakers and it seems like you don't believe they won this game. Nuggets just found a way to get their offense and defense effective that's why they dominate this game, but lakers always come back with a win but what matters is that the effort of the Nuggets was not wasted in this game.
Murray is Murray once again, had some unreal shots but yeah, they deserve some respect as they played well against the crowd favorite.
BTW, let's give Grant some appreciation as he contributed for this win, big time.
