^ Right, probably that's the best option for us basketball lovers, just watch the previous games we may have missed specially games that are very interesting.
I also have nothing to do, but to stay with my family and read news all over the covid-19 pandemic. Also watching some tennis games in youtube (another sports that I also follow). All we can do is hope that the whole crisis will be over in the next couple of months so that we may see NBA games.

Christian Wood. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/coronavirus-pistons-christian-wood-becomes-third-nba-player-to-have-positive-covid-19-test-per-report/According to Charania, Wood is asymptomatic and is doing well. Wood faced Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz last Saturday. Since then, he's faced off against the Knicks and the 76ers. This is one of the problem with this virus. It matures for 2 weeks so there are no signs at the first stage. Looks like they will be testing more. He played with quite a lot of player after Gobert and Mitchell. This is really getting messy. It could have been passed to a lot of players in just a little time. It is a physical game so it will be easy to pass it to anyone. I just hope they didn't go home afterwards.

Interestingly that "unnamed pistons player" turned out to be christian wood who guarded Rudy Gobert on their last matchup on Wednesday so I could probably assume that we all know how christian wood got corona, dude basically was in physical contact with Gobert for 30 minutes, it is obvious.
From what we know the case in NBA raised to three officially known ones with this after Gobert and Donovan, we all know both of them got it from Gobert as well, so the only question remains, who did Gobert got it from? That much we do not know. In any case I am glad that no other Jazz player or staff got corona, because that would be really worrying, when one person gets it it is easier to spread it around in a circle. I am glad that we are staying at three and the players are no longer playing so I hope they are taking care of themselves and not get anything.

Indeed. Do you think how many people they interact with before they knew that they are positive? And how many people outside encountered by those who directly interact with those NBA players? Though we can't specifically tell the exact number but just by pure imagination we can say it is very alarming. I will not get shock if after few days Knicks and/or 76ers players will also release a statement same as this . But honestly, I'm now less worried on the infected NBA players simply because I know that they are fit thus got a stronger immune system to fight Covid 19. I'm now more worried for their coaching staff which some are way older than them.

Toronto Raptors fully goes physical with Gobert on their last game - sweats, salivas lol (Gobert got involved in a scuffle), physical contact and all other usual things that happened on the court. I don't want this to happen but I think Raptors too will record at least a single infection on their roster. Knowing the NBA player's resistance, I think most of them already have the virus but their immune system is taking care of it. They just need to maintain their healthy living as much as possible. Continuous practice, maybe at their home backyards so that they are isolated, regular exercise and many more.

I don't want this to happen but I think Raptors too will record at least a single infection on their roster. As the last team to play the Jazz, Raptors and their entire staff had to be tested for covid-19. Results came back yesterday and they don't have anyone with the virus which is great news at this point. The statement posted on Twitter: https://twitter.com/BlakeMurphyODC/status/1238900463774380039

But I trust their testing kit and medical system, it's one of the best in the world. And not just players, but all Raptors staff who travel to Utah were negative with the virus. I'm more worried about Serge Ibaka prior to that result as he's the one who received the most physical contact with Gobert on their last matchup.

Possibly! but if there are players who do show up some slight symptoms then there might be a probability but since they do announce it that results were negative then its a good one. This is the hard part on detecting this thing where it do takes up for 2 weeks before we can completely say that it is totally safe.Come to think to those days where people do have contact with Gobert then i cant imagine the scope of transmission. So im expecting for other players to get this virus (honestly speaking).

Sorry but I got confuse, so you are saying Gobert already had this virus when Jazz played the Raptors? I thought he got this during the interview when he was touching the microphones.

Gobert already has the virus before that touching the mic scene. Since the estimated period where symptoms of the virus will show is 14 days, it's not only the Raptors that might get affected but other teams as well, the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards. These teams are now in self-quarantine since Gobert was tested positive and as stated above, Raptors players and staffs are found negative of the virus.

One of my deepest thoughts when I read about COVID-19 details was can it really be seen even if the virus ain't matured yet? Does those test kits really focus on looking at COVID-19 or is it just for the symptoms? They could just say it is negative because this is healthy people we are talking about. Which also means the detection may be quite difficult that it may take 2-3 weeks before it matures. ESPN, Fox and all the sports news outlet who interviewed Gobert should also be tested with this. It may become worse if they are scattering that virus without knowing it.

I wonder what would have happened if the virus will take too long to disappear, we can't do something about it but to wait for the officials to resume the game again. meanwhile, players will have good times for their families now that the season has been suspended. the only thing we can assure about this season is, the Golden State Warriors is no longer have a chance to play on playoff.

It would be a totally useless test kit if it is just looking for symptoms, ain't it? They are swabbing your saliva and using high tech machines to detect presence of COVID-19. I am sure it can detect the early stages of the virus. They could just say it is negative because this is healthy people we are talking about. Which also means the detection may be quite difficult that it may take 2-3 weeks before it matures.
Self- determination will be hard because it requires two weeks before you can see the symptoms. But if you have contact with known victims, the test kits will show if you are infected or not. ESPN, Fox and all the sports news outlet who interviewed Gobert should also be tested with this. It may become worse if they are scattering that virus without knowing it.
They should be, but I think it is already covered. And, they also should self-quarantine.

I am not thinking of that anymore, I am optimistic that the NBA season will resume soon, I don't want to think of the possibilities that the season will be cancelled as that is unjust to the NBA teams who struggle in the past but has been performing pretty well this season.

Best case scenario as they say it. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/28908729/sources-owners-execs-bracing-mid-late-june-best-case-scenario-nba-returnMid-late June. It will almost be October again when all games will be done. I bet they will make haste of everything since they don't really need to go from different states. There will be no fans, so what is the use of transporting them.

I mean Gobert did not feel the symptoms, he was playing well at in the past games, this really bad, so is there any news yet about on the status of the other players that the Jazz have played during the time when Gobert was presume to already had the virus?

In that case it might even affect next season, if current one drags for too long. What NBA could do to shorten the playoff season once it starts is to reduce amount of wins needed. So maybe go for best of 5 series for all games except the final. It wouldn't be something that we didn't in NBA before, as from 1984 till 2003 that's how first round of playoff was sorted. Or maybe even introduce best of 3, as it was before that, for thr first playoff round. There is one even more exciting idea, albeit completely unrealistic: single elimination tournament. So something similar to NCAA and "March Madness". For me that is sometimes even more exciting that NBA playoffs, but I doubt that NBA is ready for that kind of experiment. It is hard to plan anything though, since no one knows how and when will all this end.

Because of this COVID-19 outbreak, let's talk about the last (corona) game. It was against to Mavericks and Nuggets. Where Boban Marjanovic puts up a career high (31 PTS 12/20 FG 17 REBS) in which a memorable day for him. Despite of not having so much playing time, thus he does become efficient on both offense and defense that judt gave Jokic 14 PTS.

Not sure if what will be the next thing in mind by NBA facilitators but for sure it will be for the best interest of everyone.
