It was amazing seeing Markelle Fultz lead a team to victory finally.  What happened to his jumpshot is one of the strangest mysteries in sports.  I've never seen someone suffer from such a mental block, except maybe Charles Barkley when it comes to golfing...

So sad to see Markelle blew out his ACL and will be done for the season now.  He was just starting to find himself again and look like a top draft pick.  At least he signed a good contract before this happened, because with his mental struggles previously I'm not sure how he'll be able to handle recovery from an ACL.  A lot of people are never able to get back to near what they were before, with one famous exception being Dominique Wilkins.

I'm seeing another Drose in Fultz. I agree, Markelle is quite starting up again after the shoulder issue. I watched some of his recent games and yeah, I could I say he's back. Tough loss for the Magics but greater hurt to him, He'll be missing the remainder of the season and most likely half a season next year or worst he'll be advise to sit out for the rest of 2022 season as well.

We'll tbh, He could ask Drose for an advise for this as they have now both experienced the same injury. I think Rose, would be a great help for Fultz (given that they're from different team) but advises makes a difference.

Hoping that he could bounce back again on this one.

Lots of serious injury we have witnessed already but some players able to come back. I don't know the exact injures but I can name some of the players that we thought they are done after a serious injury.

1-Paul George
2-Gordon Hayward
3-Kevin Durant

These players are playing like they did not get injured, I mean they are not affected a lot if there is.

Oh yeah, I forgot about them George and hayward's injuries are a mess. But yeah, I'd agree those players still dominates the league. High hope still for Fultz.

I also, remember Livington's injury in '07 and yet still plays a lot better years after that gruesome injury.

It'll still up to Fultz to motivate himself after this.

Livingston was a miracle he even played again.  He had the goods to be one of the best before that injury.  Height skills and his game was silky smooth.  Real high in too always made the right play.  Orlando was looking good too.  Not saying they won't continue but this is a big hit for them.  Never like to see a kid go down like that especially with how his career started and where he is now.  Hopefully next year he will be right where he left off.

Paul George definitely plays like he wasn't affected before the shoulder injury, but after the shoulder injury he hasn't been really himself. We all know his year with OKC where he got MVP votes, he wasn't even close to being MVP but he got some votes at least. Whereas since he came to Clippers he sucked big time so far, we all joked about the side board shot too, which is why I think its quite important to find what type of injury affects, dude broke his leg in half and came back awesome, had a minor shoulder injury and sucked.

Also let's be honest with each other, Fultz was never really as good as the guys in the list, Derrick Rose? That dude was youngest MVP in history of NBA, how could you compare him to Fultz? And all others on the list played very well too. Just because Fultz were seen as a potentially good player and got injured few times doesn't mean he was ever good, he just had potential to be good.

Just like a popular team that went through passive and became weak for seasons, time will come to them that they'll also be recognized again. The lineup could be fine by now but still, that's not enough to bring home the bacon. Well, if Glen has to sell it for himself, he'll do it. That's part of his investment and business but as long as there will be a willing taker for the team and to have new management for the franchise, the team shall keep moving.
Hopefully this will be sold soon, it does not help to a team knowing the owner is selling it, it does not help build confidence and feel secured on entire team's side. Though this is just normal, there's still an indication that the team are not selling anymore, reason the owner sold it already, and we can understand since the timing is quite unquestionable.
The motivation for the players is likely to change knowing that their franchise is about to be sold very soon. But as long as they are under a contract and they are paid for those contracts, I think they should only think about the league and not about the franchise. Although we understand that some of the players might be thinking of a stable stay on the team and that's why if it changes it hands, there's a chance that there will be an entire shuffle.

I dont think they were comparing his game to those guys just that those guys returned to be able to play (rose never the same albeit dude was nasty pre injury).  But the kid is only 22 years old and has raised his pig and assists pretty much every year.  Hope for a speedy recovery for em, hate to see carrers get shortened by these things.  The league is diluted enough.

Disagree with the first part but agree with the following one.

I don't think a player's motivation will change for that kind of issue. They care for their career and being a professional one, they need to play their best at whichever team regardless of the plan in the future. Players build and improve their stats as a part of their career profile and that issue shouldn't affect their performance.

Selling the franchise will not totally rebrand the whole team if decided. It's just a change owner and most likely, not much changes will be made by the new owners.

Correct it's just a change of ownership but there's still a risk that big changes will happen, hopefully players are still comfortable despite knowing that their team is for sale or will be sold to a new owner. There are some teams in the NBA that was sold before, and I guess they are still doing good until now.

If the salary stay the same even the franchise change it's ownership players will continue to play.

They are hired to play and to entertained, nothing to look upon as long as the onwers are paying them the right amount, the entire
squad should actively provide what the owners are asking them, it's a give and take work from both side.

What a great game from Mavs and Nuggets.
I thought Dallas already won that from the last shot of Maxi Kleber downtown but Jokic won't just give up taking the game to overtime.
Doncic just lack 1 more rebound for another triple-double game.
Jokic scored the same with 38 points. These two teams are really fun to watch.

Exactly, Jokic bring the game to OT and his teammates reaction is like they won the game, haha.. unfortunately they lose in the overtime, Doncic did a great job of carrying his team for a win, and I like what Dallas are doing even without KP, so more to expect when KP is back.

Jokic is special, he is in the top 5 in assists and rebounds this season.

It's pretty rare to see a big man who are good in assist, Denver lucky to have Jokic, and though they seem not consistent thus far in the regular season but as long as they will enter the playoffs, they'll be a tough team to beat.

The real crazy thing is he still has so much room for improvement. He’s still not in the greatest shape and has a lot to learn in the footwork department. I don’t know how long his prime will last but he’s making the most of his time on the floor now. Denver is lucky to have him.

As long as he remained healthy, he still have more seasons in the NBA, Jokic is only 25 years old now, if he can follow the success of Lebron, not totally to level it but Lebron is already 36 years old and still active, therefore, Jokic still has at least 10 years of his career to be played. With that long period of time, it's expected that he will improve more.

That play where Draymond Green meets with Kawhi Leonard in the air is so controversial. It is so dangerous for both of the players to intertwine like that and the fall really can be dangerous if both of the players would not react quickly and luckily they have just fall flat. Should Draymond be fined with plays like that? Not flaming Draymond but its really scary playing with that guy.

Damn true.
I think it was Duncan who can be a good example of Jokic stats although he hasn't got a championship yet.
Just a comparison with skills and movement.
If he is smaller and more agile he could be a great point guard.
He can become an expensive player after his contract.  Cheesy Average 25pts 11rebs 10asts. A monster indeed.
I wish he could get a championship this year.

It is funny that you said Duncan. I saw on reddit today that on a podcast that Duncan said the best big he likes to watch was Joker, and I think it makes sense because Jokic is known for his passing skills and the player Duncan loves the most was Magic Johnson. If you made Magic into a big (not like he was small neither Cheesy) that would basically be Jokic.

How many bigs can actually average 10+ assists per game, that is unheard of, but Jokic did it for a stretch and I believe he will probably have months of 10+ assists as well in the future. Duncan likes the game a bit more calm, not flashy and Jokic plays the game with his brain and not his body, which is why I think Jokic could be the love of all fundamentalists of the game. Plus dude was candidate for MVP as well for a while, which shows he is not just playing smart but he plays very well too.

Denver Nuggets played a home game against Dallas Mavericks this morning. It was really an exciting game. The normal time ended 109-109 and Mavericks won the game 124-117 after overtime. On Nuggets side, Jokic made a double-double (38 points, 11 rebounds). J. Murray got 21 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. On Mavericks side, Doncic made a double-double and he was so close to a triple-double (38 points, 13 assists, 9 rebounds).

Tonight knicks only -2 against ok city.  Gonna ride the high and snatch this up which is pretty much a pickem at home for the knicks.  Thibs got their heads right.  Down 18 against the jazz the other night and came out in the second half and wrecked them.  I'm gonna snatch the under in this game too.  I think as the season goes on the knicks games will be lower scoring.  They aren't built for screaming runs, but defend well against them.

Hoping this isn't a mirage and is finally the year they turn things around.  Been a long road.
