Finally, we have started seeing Thompson starting to play better. If I'm not wrong, this must be his first time scoring 20+ points after bouncing back from his injury. He got 21 points and he scored three more points than Curry. We still don't see Curry showing one of his solid performances these days. But they still were able to defeat Pistons by 102-86. But Pistons are among the worst teams of the season so it is normal. I hope that we see the Curry-Thompson duo doing a nice job in the playoff stage.

It was expected that he'll struggle a bit once he returns to competition after his long lay off due to injury. It looks like the rust are already off so we should anticipate better performances from him in the next few games until the playoffs and maybe during championship. I hope he doesn't get another injury once he starts playing harder.

Right, he just feel it from the 1st quarter itself, you can see how fluid his movement now as compare to his debut game and he is still very sharp. Curry though started slow but once he made his first 3 it was automatic then. Curry is involving his team, you will notice that he passes the ball more often now before he takes over the game.

I'm eyeing for Sacramento's trade. Fox is a good addition for Sixers. He can play alongside with Embiid and Curry

While Simmons might help Sac and improve their stats, Not sure if he will have this same attitude issue once he saw something

bad or once the fans dislike him, still young and very capable of improving his skills and talents.

Nothing for now, still waiting before the trade deadline ends. Hopefully Simmons' departure from Sixers will happen..

There are rumors the Kings aren't going to trade Fox, but they are still interested in Simmons. As far as I know, the Kings offered Hield, Haliburton, Barnes, and two first-round picks for Simmons, Harris, and Thybulle. Unfortunately, the 76ers are not interested in this offer.
p.s.
I wouldn't be surprised if the 76ers don't trade Simmons before the end of the deadline.

Good for the Chicago Bulls to get back on track and they finally ended their 4th losing streak which is really bad because they were the Eastern Conference favorite team nowadays. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, are not an easy team to beat since they are also inside the playoff tree this year. The Bull's next opponent will be the Bucks and yet again we will see another possible match-up in the NBA playoffs.

^^ It was indeed good to see the Bulls stopping their 4 game losing streak. There are games in that 4 game that they could have won the game if now for late meltdown and defense mental lapses.

But not in this game, they go and focus on this game because they know that their top seed is on the line here. And then they have a good player who come up big in Dosunmu who has the most minutes by any Bulls and score 18 big points.

Watching the end of this Lakers game and it suddenly got ugly. No surprise that they blew the game with Howard on the bench again… It makes no sense…

One positive thing about the game was that LeBron got his 10,000th rebound. That makes him the only player in NBA history to have 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 9,000 assists. A pretty impressive feat. I think he’s likely to get to 10,000 assists before he’s done as well. Statistically the best to ever do it.

LeBron is simply one of a kind.

But the Lakers are seriously struggling. They need someone to come in right now in lieu of AD because Russ is simply not stepping up. His decision making has always been terrible and this season has been no exception whatsoever.

Austin Reaves and Stanley Johnson shouldn't be the people saving the Lakers.

Without Lavine they won, congrats to the team and the players who lead the win,  Vucevic had 24 while DeRozan had 30. At least now they are back to start winning again, I hope Lavine will be back soon so they'll have a complete and healthy lifestyle.

And the Pacers shoots very well in the outside specially 3's that really seal the win for them.

Lakers started very hot take a huge lead but they are not able to maintain it as Lavert, Sabonis keeps coming back and I will say that they are pesky in this game.

Duarte has some easy looks too, while the Lakers struggle to score and when the Pacers took the lead, you know it's over for the Lakers.

What a great game from the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers. Both teams fought well until the buzzer sounds even if the Clippers team was lacking their roleplayers. It was a last-minute decision that Morris Sr. didn't play because of personal reasons. That could've been a better game if he was there.
Nikola Jokic dominated the game with 49 points, 10 assists, and 14 rebounds. Another addition for his long list of triple-double and he now is tied with Westbrook with 9 of them for this season.
That last assist of him was the game-winner for the Nuggets when Gordon hit the three.

Without Lavine they won, congrats to the team and the players who lead the win,  Vucevic had 24 while DeRozan had 30. At least now they are back to start winning again, I hope Lavine will be back soon so they'll have a complete and healthy lifestyle.

They are a good team, of course, they can win even without Lavine.

They are really desperate for a win as their ranking might go down, they are still at the number 1 team now but losing means allowing the lower seed to rise. As we can see in the ranking (https://www.espn.ph/nba/table), there's a very close competition of record on the top 6 teams, either any of the lower seed could take the number 1 seed if they'll continue wining.

DeRozan and Vucevic are once a leader back when they are both with their previous teams.

They can handle pressures and capable of bringing the hypes to lift the entire team. Now they just show it in Chicago
they both have huge contributions.

Good to see that they are now start winning game and personally I'm going to expect a good winning streak even
Lavine still resting..

I'm not, it's really different if Lavine is playing. Good thing that the Nets are also struggling as well that's why they are still at the top, but they need some consistency nnd it's hard to do that without Lavine. Next game is against the Atlanta Hawks, I think they can still handle it even on the road.

An impressive feat indeed for the 37 years old LeBron James, and yes mate, he seems possible to get that 10k assists before he retires.

I thought that the Lakers could've had this game in their favor and seems like it because they're dominating the game up until the 2nd quarter, and also Westbrook seems already adapted well and his plays are quite improving than the his recent plays. But when Frank Vogel sits Howard again, they fell into pieces as they're defensive isn't good enough to block the attacks of the Pacers.
Surely, the Lakers management isn't happy on Frank's decisions especially when they've lost against the Nuggets with a huge score difference. There's also some rumors that the management wants to fire Frank Vogel this season as they aren't happy by the results of the team.

I'll be glad to see that happen, the Lakers are struggling a lot and they will not make it to the playoffs if they cannot win especially at home. I think that's enough, in this game, we've seen it's not only the players who had the problem but most especially the coach decision making was wrong. Lakers already at number 8 now, how many games they need to lose before the management will make a decision to look for other coach?

DeRozan and Vucevic played well and led the team to secure it in their favor, tho Lavine is still unavailable, they still have the means to win despite lacking one of their keyplayers. And they indeed bounced back with an impressive figures and almost all of them made a double figures in the game, The Bulls roster is really contributing well and they've proved again that they deserve the #1 spot in the ECF.

I wonder if they had any other coaches available or somehow spotted some new prospects that could've help the team. They're placed at the 8th spot in the WCF and they could be placed at the 9th spot if they lost again in their next game against the Magic. Sure their offense is quite good but I don't know what Frank Vogel's thinking that he won't give Dwight Howard the minutes needed as they need another big man but I bet he knows that their defense isn't that good enough to block incoming attacks.

I had been asking myself that question too for a long time. What is between Frank Vogel and Dwight Howard that it makes it hard for him to let him join the floor? Dwight had never been in decent minutes of play. 22 minutes is his highest and is now averaging just 15 minutes per game. Before, the reason why he is out is because of foul trouble or he used up all his foul but now it's different. They just don't want him in. Is it chemistry? Is there someone on the floor that hates his game so much that he can't be paired with him? 2 years ago it was a good run and all eyes are on him for defending big guys but now you might even ask your friend, where does Dwight play?  Grin

Washington Wizards - Brooklyn Nets game was really competitive last night. Nets barely managed to get the win by 119-118 away and Irving played a big role in this win also. He was the top scorer of the game by 30 points and he has been very helpful for his team since he started to play in their away games. He still hasn't been vaccinated but he is still able to play at least in these away games. Actually, this is not fair as they are bending the rules but there is noone caring about it now also.
