Hornets had another impressive game last night against Lakers. It was a really competitive and close game and Hornets managed to win by a result like 117-114. Lebron and Davis both were absent for this game and Lakers were going to have a hard time. Actually, this time Westbrook took the responsibility of carrying the team and he played really nice by scoring 35 points. However, his field goal success percentage was below 50. And you can't win every game while you are depending on a specific player also. Hornets still won by a nice team play.

As expected, the Hornets wins this game because of the absence of LeBron, AD, and Monk. Those 3 were the only reliable pieces of the Laker team currently, but Westbrook alone couldnt win games. You know why? because he's no leader.
Again, Hornets is expected to win that game, no surprise about it. What's more surprising for this game is when the Lakers when the game even without LeBron, AD, and Monk.

Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George).  I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen. 

Yeah, the Heat looks clearly the favorite in this match. However, there are rumors that Butler is questionable tonight. So it might be a close game if he doesn't play. It's also worth noting these teams have already faced each other this season, and the Clippers showed that they can beat the Heat.

I also read about that too, this season is really interesting because there's more factor we need to consider before we bet on our desired team as we can't know for sure in advance who will play. Rumor has it that Butler won't be around against the Clippers as he's still undergoing some recondition, I suppose. But he played and lead the game today together with Bam Adebayo while taking the advantage that the key players of Clippers is not around and he made 26 points

He did, but it was still a close game and I'm impressed with how the Clippers are playing so far. They don't need a star player like PG, they are playing well as a team, it's just unfortunate that they don't have enough talent to compete against a top team like the Miami Heat.

So they still need PG13 though, I think he is the heart of the team. Reggie Jackson is good but he doesn't have the clutch that George brings to the team. And they are in a roller coaster ride since George went down, in short they are inconsistent. Just like in today's game, when you think they will at least have a good chance, they fell short.

They entered the NBA Finals last season and there is also a high chance that they might enter once again or at least in the WCF if they will lost against the Warriors . Their main problem against the Bucks in The Finals is they are lacking inside presence and now they filled that spot already with McGee and now Biyombo. Expectations for this team is very high and we're seeing them dominating again and I agree that we might see them in a long winning streak again.

But I have to say that WB played a very good game as he scored an insane 35 points but that was not enough for him to get the win for his team. He alone can only do much but congrats to the Hornets for getting the win.

Starting to sound like the Lakers are going to get some help soon.  They're pursuing Buddy Hield pretty hard and the Kings seem willing to dump him due to his unhappiness the last few years with the team.  I think he'd be a great fit with LeBron, and would allow for a pretty amazing lineup of Westbrook, Hield, LeBron, AD, & Howard.  A couple years ago that would have passed for an All Star team.  Not to mention having Carmelo & DeAndre Jordan coming off the bench...  I really think Hield is a missing piece they need and for the sake of wanting to see the Lakers and Nets in the Finals I hope they can manage to pick him up as he's one of the best shooters in the league.

CP is having a really good season as he once again got a triple-double last game as they won with a big margin of 10 points. Booker also had a great night as he scored 29 points, 9 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Just as I expected, Hornets benefited from Lakers' lacking Davis and Lebron in this game and they were victorious by 117-114. It's been a long time since I last saw Westbrook had a solid performance at Lakers. He showed a solid performance by scoring 35 points in this one but it wasn't still enough for winning. Hornets played better as a team and earned this victory. LaMelo Ball also played nicely by 20 points and 7 rebounds. He has been quite consistent for some time and it is good to watch him play decently.

The final between Spurs and Bulls were really awesome. The top team Bulls from Eastern Conference were on fire leading the 1st round with 35:29. White was really stunning shooting balls to 3 points at one go often. This really made the team's score really grow fast along with other player's shots. Spurs was not an easy to team to handle. It was really thrilling to watch Spurs team's play from Western Conference. Though they stay at 11th position, they just seemed to be on top in the table. Their performance was really awesome. They finally own the match.

I guess that the biggest game tonight is Warriors - Nets. I believe that we will watch a great game in Chase Center. Kevin Durant has a long-lasting injury as it seems because he is expected to return after February 24 now. But in this game, Harden and Irving both can play as Irving is playing in away games this season. There is going to be a duel between two duos: Curry-Thompson and Harden-Irving. And I feel like the winner will be Nets' duo. Because Thompson is still far from his old times.

Suns was on fire leading the 1st round. On 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds, both teams were just close to each other. But yes Suns own the match. Though Timberwolves is on 8th position in the table, they were really challenging the top team. Tomorrow its going to be a tough match between Suns and Spurs. Spurs has own the match beating the 2nd top team yesterday. Its going to be an interesting tomorrow.

Golden - Brooklyn game could be really enjoyable a lot. I'm favouring Golden in this game because Stephen Curry is really good at carrying his team in big games. And now, he has Klay Thompson beside him also. This makes them even more powerful. Some people say that Klay is not performing as much as Steph but he would get better in time. And I feel like he will still score at least 20 points in this game. Harden and Kyrie will have big responsibilities for their team to win this one.

Only if Curry is not in his worst night. Sometimes, he has the Kobe Bryant mentality to just shoot and shoot. Isn't the right way? There are his teammates to support him. Good thing that when Curry is bad night, his teammates is always doing adjustment.

I can't say who will win but Brooklyn Nets is not in 100%. Durant is out but Irving might play since it's an Away game and he can't only play during Home games.

Except from being obvious, Vogel really needs to go as he's not worth it to be a head coach anymore. I can't stop thinking that he made DeAndre Jordan as center player instead of Dwight Howard, this team really need some big man because AD isn't around but sadly Vogel didn't give any minutes to Howard.

WB made 35 points even without LBJ, hopefully he'll be consistent about this and not just stepping up whenever their lead man is out.

That is the problem, I kept saying that the system doesn't hit Westbrook and he is not the problem. Yes, he has been playing bad all season but when you get a very very ball heavy player and put him along with Lebron and tell him to just let Lebron handle the ball, then Westbrook has nothing left, but when Lebron is out, they managed to run the plays through him and he was amazing.

Vogel needs to both find a way to get Lebron and Westbrook play together, and he needs to give Howard more minutes as well. When they come back, it is like Westbrook-Monk-Lebron-AD-Howard, and that is a starting five that could fight for a title if the coach was a good one, Vogel is not good at all.

I think that was irrelevant. We can't conclude a team's overall performance within just a single game. It's good that a team is composed of role players but for a team like Clippers, they really need a steady superstar player that can carry the team.

They need Paul George, they need Kawhi Leonard, that's the reality. Clippers are nothing without either of these 2 and their current status is the living proof of that.

That's a good thing to hear as a Laker fan. But there were also rumors going on about the Westbrook and John Wall trade. I'm not quite sure but It looks like these two have resemblance in their style of play. The Lakers should just keep Westbrook and look for a good supporting piece like Buddy Hield.
I don't know why the Lakers are still struggling when they have good support from Monk and Stanley Johnson. Buddy Hield acquisition should put them is a better position in the playoffs. I'm looking forward for the Lakers to pursue Buddy as he will for sure a good fit for the Laker system, he doesn't need to create his own shot, he can become a spot up shooter from a LeBron or Westbrook kick out pass.

They need Paul George, they need Kawhi Leonard, that's the reality. Clippers are nothing without either of these 2 and their current status is the living proof of that.

We've seen their limit last playoffs, they reach the WCF and I think that was the 1st time in the franchise of the Clippers but they still lose because PG can't carry the team alone, if Leonard was there, I'm sure they'll also reach the NBA Finals and probably would beat team Giannis as Leonard can limit him.

This match is a joy to watch . Im expecting so much points from it and the splash brothers to really score a lot of points in this match. Expecting at least 30+ points from both Durant and Curry. I think also Golden state warriors will probobly win this match.
