I do not know where to start, but the game between the Warriors vs Lakers was something that is a must watch! We got to see a glimpse of the past especially in the last quarter where Lakers was able get their first lead of the game. Fortunately, Westbrook showed on why he was a previous MVP and LBJ was still the same dominant player in the league.

Fortunately, Klay exploded in the last quarter where he was able to drill 16 points on that quarter alone. Kuminga will be the next franchise player of the Warriors especially he played exceptionally well. To be honest, this was a perfect game where both teams showed their strengths.

It was one of those nights with several great games and even any game would not disappoint the viewers. That is why I love NBA. Hundreds of great games every season and you can always watch and enjoy.

Cleveland-Philadelphia played for the first time today, with two-thirds of the season behind due to the NBA's bizarre fixture. They will play 3 more times this season. They're all stuck in the last third of the season.

Joel Embid was a beast. He played incredible. I have huge respect for the african born player. If he continues like this and with Harden's contribution, he might get the MVP award and if I'm not mistaken will be the second african born MVP player after Olajuwan. He did everything on the court, which shows in his triple double statistics. Even he has 4 of 5 three points. And monstrous dunks, amazing assists. He was amazing to watch.

Cleveland couldn't get a good performance other than Garland. I couldn't see why Rondo didn't play. He is not injured as far as I could find. If Love, Cedi or someone else performed little bit more, they might had a chance but Sixers were so good.

There was a visible problem when Harden was at Nets. There was more than one player who got a leader character. And this was causing some conflicts in the team. Now he can play freely and lead his new team. And I'm expecting him to make a good duo with Embiid there. Harden would play as a point guard and Embiid would score like always. This would bring an extra power to Sixers. They are already doing very nice in the regular season and they can perform better than this in the playoffs like this.

When there is more than one leader in a team, it is very normal to have problems between the players. Harden is a very good player and I am sure he will achieve great success in his new team. Nets players were great individually, but not as a team. I think Nets will start to play much better after this transfer. It's good for everyone that the rivalry between Durant and Harden is over

Ben Simmons will be on a new number (10) this season in the Brooklyn,  Ben Simmons had been on number 25  all through the beginning  of his career, i think the reason he will be on a new in the Brooklyn is because 25 is not available for him. This also the number is fathe wore all through as a  basketball.  Can Ben Simmons be able to cope with this number that seems new to him at this point of his career?.

I don't think the jersey numbers is significant though, even the GOAT himself hs two jersey numbers the famous 23 and then 45.

Still boils down as how he is going to perform in Nets uniform. We haven't see him this season because of the obvious drama with the Sixers, but since the trade is official already, he can start with a new left with the Nets although not sure what will be their chances this playoff since Durant is still recovering.

I think it was because he came back to the game after doing some baseball experiment and his number was taken and that is why he went with number 45 for a while. As soon as it was available, he switched back to 23.

However, if we were to talk about greats of the game having 2 numbers, Kobe never even switched teams and still changed his number from 8 to 24 so it should not be really a big deal for anyone else, we all know Lebron has 23 and 6 as well which was used in multiple places in multiple times. So, I would guess that changing your numbers is not a big deal for many players, and it should be fine in this case as well and not a big deal.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to drive at, players can change numbers anytime they want.

Sixers though on the tearing as of late, winning against Cavs tonight, Joel Embiid again putting numbers deserving of an MVP with another 40 point performance.

He can still play this year because his injury is not that serious, to skip all the games this year and he can be the ultimate key player for the 76ers in the NBA playoffs. He can relax because the 76ers are winning games without him, if he wants to be fully healthy, maybe save his energy and just play when the playoffs come. I was also expecting a blow out by the GSW, but It turns out to be a good game instead. The kind of Lakers-Warriors type of game.
Both teams are actually doing great, and Lakers just fall short despite of the 15 point comeback early in the game.
The game is completely amazing, but I am more amaze by Jonathan Kuminga. He had his one of the best game of his career.
He's very efficient, and he's doing an extra job getting those second chance points. What amazes me on top of all these, is that he used to watch Kobe and Lebron's highlights in the internet cafe, and look at him now. Such story is just very inspiring to hear.

They are currently taking charge now, but when Draymond Green returns, his contribution will make the team better. As you can see, the Warriors also has some struggle, even their win against the Lakers, it's not that impressive because they didn't dominate the whole game. When Klay return, the offense are mostly focus on the two, but with Green on the floor, he can find shooters because he has a great vision.

I agree with both what you have written. Klay is unbelievable, considering he is coming from a huge injury. If I'm not mistaken, he wasn't playing for 30 months or smt. But then he comes and bam! great performances. And also clutch performances. He was great against Lakers in the final minutes too. Even against a tough defence, he was able to hit clutch threes. He plays really really solid. I remember in this topic people  were talking about 'ah Klay is coming back, he will probably affect the team greatly'. I just love how he affected the game GS is playing. Really good player.

That also makes me want to see a western conference finals Gs vs suns too. That would be a series to remember.

I think that the Warriors - Lakers game was a great one. It was much more competitive than I imagined. Warriors would have been able to win comfortably against them normally but I really appreciated Lakers' performance. They were better as a team and this was helpful for them to get near even a win here. I really liked especially Thompson's performance in this game. He has scored 30+ points for the first time since he bounced back from his very long-lasting injury. I'm looking forward to seeing his performance in the playoffs the most.

That Los Angeles Lakers loss against the Golden State Warriors might be one of their losses where I read a few criticisms. Before there are lots of blaming issues when the Lakers are losing but last night, fans see that despite losing that game, they see that they are performing well.

Lots of situations where the Lakers are downed by mostly double-digit but still able to make a comeback and close out the game.

On the other hand, Klay Thompson surprised everyone with his performance. If that will maintain, the Warriors will be again a threat to any team.
