Golden State Warriors are fun to watch. The way they execute their plays and the way the ball is rotating; the execution is just perfect. Poole and Wiggins showed the crowed why they deserve that contract extension. They came in balling tonight.

The Lakers are just a mess right now, especially in the third quarter. There is no defense, and the offense is totally nowhere to be found. Their plays are a mess. It is just the first game but we already see that there is a lot to fix in this team in order to be competitive again. If they play weaker teams, they will be alright but against a well-organized team with good chemistry, they will surely struggle.

I thought the Lakers looked alright in the second half. They had a nice run at the end when shots started falling. They just shot terribly most of the game. If they can figure out a way to get Hield or another long range shooter I think they’d be alright.

They are off in shooting while Warriors create more than them and Lakers seems relying on LBJ that's why they left behind by Curry's team. Although Davis got a quite good run in the first half but that's not enough to help LBJ to dominate their opponent. Maybe better luck next time of Lakers and they should find more ways to create good chemistry since if they remain like this they can't defeat Warriors on next match up.

They are lacking with what the Warriors are good at, chemistries and rotations are very important when playing this game,
though I can agree with you that AD did try his best to help LeBron,

but witnessing how weak Lakers are in terms of ball rotations that is something that they needed to work more,
It's just the opening and they are playing against the defending champ plus the Dub crowd. It's really difficult to beat them in their home.

Moving forward, it will be great to see a healthy AD, as he can provide good numbers from time to time.

It's way too early to say.  Especially having to play the dubs on ring night too.  Lakers were never winning that game.  Ypu need to get to at least game 20 to shake off the rust and see what each team looks like.  Anyone can look great or terrible on opening night.  With that being said, GS looks real deep this year.

Excited about opening night! My Chicago Bulls versus the Miami heat should be pretty entertaining. I’m still just so pissed off about the whole Alonzo Ball situation. I just don’t understand why he didn’t get surgery sooner. I guess it can take some time to let things play out, but man missing him is just such a massive blow to the team.

Not saying they have a chance even with him in the lineup,  but I want everyone healthy so we can see how good the bulls truly are.

Yes, I'm just thinking that maybe his injury has been deemed as not as urgent to get some surgery. However, his last injury could be very serious or at least it triggers something that now their doctor advise him to go under the knife.

So it's really a big blow not only for Bulls fan but for us as well because we wanted to see him play this season because the Bulls has so much potential with him and Lavine and DeRozan.

Kemba Walker is waived by the Detroit Pistons today?

This is really shocking because the used to be playing like a star in his early career as an NBA player but injuries got him good. It seems like the league really wanted to spend on healthy players nowadays instead to gamble on unstable players that might gonna cost them millions of dollars in mistake if they are not careful.

It's all about business, whoever is healthier, they'd be willing to invest more money on them instead of those that were already injured but didn't went back on shape.

Do you guys think that despite his size, he can still be a role player for some teams in the league?

If, no further injury would come to him then he can still be a contributor to a team. But, what team is willing to take him now? I've looking for some news but happened found a team interested to take him in.

It is totally understandable for Lakers to lose to Warriors, Lakers missed playoffs last year, whereas Warriors won the ring, so that was an expected result. However, Lakers really need to put a team around Lebron.

Lebron is 37 years old, going into 38 years old this season, and he scored 31 points, had 14 rebounds and had 8 assists, I agree that AD played decently, 27 points, which was on 10/22 not great but let’s say that’s good enough, other players surrounding them were Lonnie Walker, Beverley and Westbrook, Westbrook had 19 points on 7/12 that’s not too bad neither, but Walker+Beverly had 8 points total, and bench had 24 points all combined, that’s unacceptable.

Mostly from what I've read from my friends, they're all disappointed. But I guess that's how it goes when their favorite team has lost. Clipper's roster is strong and is like isn't hyped at all, unlike the other teams. This is an exciting match and even if it's still just the 2nd day, it's a match that we shouldn't match. Those three playing together, we'll see if they're going to be playing together as what we're expecting against the Lakers, this is a strong match up.

Are you going to bet on the Bulls on handicap? Forget about Lonzo's situation for now. I read that Lavine won't be in the lineup for the opener due to left knee injury so better take that into consideration. I think the Heat is a bad match up for the Bulls. They're going to rough up DeMar and make him work for every possession.

Yes, I going to see how their own version of big 3 will do. We've seen Kawhi developed his thigh into a world class, it's like he is a body builder with that lower leg. For sure his trainer did a thing or two to improved his body not to get injured so easily.

And we also seen clips of John Wall and Paul George playing and they look great. But we have to see him in this pre season to gauge how everything is going specially on John Wall and how his chemistry with the Clippers.

And in that 78 games last season, he played all as a starting lineup. Still athletic and quick at the current point of his career.

That's why there are some comments that to fully utilize Westbrook, now that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are back in action, Coach Ham should not try to do too many experiments regarding the player's rotation, especially the first squad. Let Westbrook just do the usual.

Actually, Westbrook just become trendy to most people because he was in the Lakers or specifically with LBJ. During the time he was on the Washington Wizards, the level of criticism is not that much compared to when he was signed by the Lakers.

The Pelicans are destroying the Nets right now even without Brandon Ingram. I think they’re going to be a lot better than people realize right now. Zion is absolutely bullying people down low. Great to see.

In a couple hours the Suns and the Mavs will play. Last time they played in the playoffs it was a pretty nasty game with Luka showing he’s one of the best in the world. This will be a great game to watch and it’ll air on ESPN in about 90 minutes.

He's still lucky that he's got a good contract and for sure that he's going to stay with the winning team that he's been with and would still like to have that championship for this season.

Did he say that? I think I might have missed that news. If he has said that, I think that it might be a decent option for him to join the Lakers if they are up for it.

He might add some firepower to them but another thing to consider is that he has aged quite a bit and I'm not quite sure if the Lakers would want to add another older player to the squad. Although he had a 52% conversion rate in 2021, which was the best in his career, I'm quite interested to see whether the Lakers would add him up or not. What I want to see is that GSW gives him a proper farewell.

How about the Utah Jazz!? Defeating the Denver Nuggets even with Murray and MPJ back. Many doubted what the Jazz did and many expect them to be a losing team because of trading Gobert and Donovan but look at them now with young guys doing their best.
Sexton, Markkanen, Clarkson, Beasley, and combined with some veterans Rudy Gay and Conley.

That Suns game turned out to be a good one. They were trailing the Mavericks by 22 and ended up winning by 2. A complete turnaround led in my opinion by DeAndre Ayton who had a great second half after struggling in the first. When that guy puts up big numbers the Suns are one of the best teams in the league. I think he deserves more respect. They should’ve dumped their coach and signed Ayton to a long term deal but I’m still expecting them to trade him later this year.

Luka seemed pretty pissed after missing what could have been a game winner. He was calling for a screen and his teammates ignored him and left him on an island to shoot a near half court shot.

Philadelphia 76ers VS Milwaukee Bucks

The Stake odds for this game are 1.57 for the 76ers and 2.49 for the Bucks, Now that the 76ers really have a bad start they will need to beat it out against the Milwaukee Bucks, but as the Bucks don't have Khris Middleton because of a Wrist Injury, and Pat Connaughton that has a calf  injury, it is looking slim for them, on the recent trade for  Javonte Smart have kicked in suffering the Bucks in their Defense for me I will go with the Philadelphia 76ers,

Los Angels Lakers VS Los Angeles Clippers

The Stake odds for this game are 2.90 for the Lakers While 1.44 for the Clippers, Reggie Jackson will be playing but I think for just a short while, or is he 100% OK, Westbrook seems really focused lately but then again I never think if he's going to be consistent now, but the Clippers now have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for the team but does their chemistry could fit the bill against the Lakers, but for this game, I am going with the Los Angeles Clippers,

What a game between Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons and it's really good to see these rookies putting up huge numbers in their NBA debut.
Banchero puts up 27 pts. played some good defense. But Bogdanovic and the 2 rookies Ivey(19pts) and Duren (14pts & 11reb) and the whole Pistons squad are just too much for them.
I wanna see the Pistons in the playoffs picture again.
