However, I still don't understand why NBA teams aren't interested in Melo. Of course, Melo is no longer in his prime, but he's still a good scorer, and he could be a great bench player for a minimum salary.

Just hope that there will be a team that will consider Melo. The season still has a long way to go.

Not the first time that Melo experienced being unsigned for long. In 2019, Portland Trail Blazers give him a chance to play again after a year of absence on which he is thinking of retirement already. A season after, he intends to stay in the Blazers for a year deal.

No one knows if that thing will happen to him again.

Melo's chance is still in the hand of any team that will offer him to sign a contract, no update yet but the season is still in the early part
and anything can happen.

It's just a need of someone who can really help him to get another team
to play with. Maybe Melo is no longer in his prime, but scoring, he still

I saw the news about Dwight Howard is playing on the league in Taiwan. There's now a follow up news that a team there too, the GhostHawks are wanting to take Carmelo Anthony to their team.

So, it's very likely that he'll take the sign there and play for that league. I felt bad again for Melo when he's got stuck with no team want to take him just like the past seasons when he's on the same situation.

But hopefully, he gets to sign there and play against Dwight's team.

AD can give huge contribution to the team so most provably he is the one who want to have by a team that's why there are trade rumors always brought up on his name because unfortunately on lakers at the moment he has a clear value compare to Westbrook where many team avoid because of his bad performance show lately happen on him. But I guess lakers will not interested om this offer since even though AD is injury prone they can still use them and they just need to rehabilitate this big guy.

It's on the Lakers if they want a change but I also think that AD is a great asset to them and instead of him, they can trade the others that they think add no value to the team currently.
But to have that happen, there should really be letting go of one of the greats that they have so it's either AD or Westbrook. AD contributes really a lot and I can see that Westbrook is also doing the same, the lack of chemistry is what makes them not do well and trade rumors are after them.

Would be perfect for them if they let Westbrook get traded because its really clear that he is not happy with Lakers anymore and their chemistry with his team is not good at the moment. Maybe from that trade they can get good guards to fill up his position and can blend well on their rotation. Also they need to get good wing players for them to get good spread then get great plays from their roosters.

The Lakers cannot get rid of Westbrook this season even if they want him to be traded because there would be no team in the league now who is willing to carry that large contract that Westbrook is carrying, some of the reasons why is he is not that reliable anymore and his unpredictability becomes more liability than to be an asset. I've said this before, there is a high chance that the teams who want to have him will just be waiting him in the free agency.

I do not think that Melo "hopes" for NBA contract to be fair, I feel like he just doesn't need to play. Like if he was offered a contract from France, Italy, even England which doesn't have a proper basketball league, he "could" accept because those nations are beautiful to live in, but Taiwan? Really? No way he accepts that, no matter how much they offer. Money is not an issue for this dude unless he lost it all on ftx or something .

He must be rich as hell, so he can just relax and just enjoy retirement, or he can start focusing on what he wants to do after he retired, some just enjoy life, some find another work and keep working after a while too.

It's not that Dwight is recruiting Melo, there's one team that wants him and they're on the talks.

For these two, they'll surely be treated as superstars in the T1 League and many fans from Asia are for sure going to come and seek and watch these two live.

These leagues are investing to these great players that have no longer contract to the NBA. Actually, that's a good opportunity and there will be some place and new home for these once-great players that are not renewed and given a contract by their teams.

Yup, Dwight is not recruiting Melo. The rivalry began when the Taoyuan Leopards successfully signed Dwight Howard, that is why the Tainan Ghost Hawks are also looking forward to get Carmelo Anthony on board to get even. Dwight and Melo will soon have the treatment and service they won't be getting anywhere in the NBA, that's for sure. Great ending between the Nets and Trailblazers tonight. Durant missed a shot with a couple second left but Royce O’Neal was there to clean it up and get the win. Ben Simmons had a great night coming off the bench and shooting 6-6 with 12 rebounds. Maybe they’re hoping coming off the bench will help Ben like it seems to be helping Westbrook. Kevin Durant ended up with 35 and 8.

That shooting percentage tonight will be a pain in the ass for his critics, I mean, they should really consider not going overboard because Ben is still an NBA player and have the capability to improved especially when he knows exactly where he should be. his offense and defense help a lot this time despite Kevin Durant's unusual performance. This is how star players should be, when one is not having a good day, others should know how exactly what to do and some of them will take the opportunity to take action to save their team from losing.

It was definitely Simmons' best performance this season, and it looks like his new role as a bench player is benefiting him, considering he was able to score more than 10 points in the last two games. Although I think it's still not enough, and he'll likely be criticized in the same way as before. Besides, there is nothing surprising in the fact that Simmons is constantly subjected to criticism because his short-sighted actions have brought this on himself.

He has been criticized, if you noticed, every time touches the ball, he got booed by the crowd. Hopefully though, he has gotten over the mental issues that he has and that is why he is playing or at least embracing his new role as the 6th man and I do agree that it is benefiting him scoring more than 10 points. So that is a start, he still has this passing ability and his confidence is slowly getting there as we can see the old Ben, driving to the basket passing to open team mates and then his usual euro-australian step with the off hand. That is the Ben Simmons that we known when he was still in the Sixers uniform.

There have been so many games that he scored 20+ points. Lillard also has come back strong with nice performances. He made three double-doubles in his last three games.

Trail Blazers are one of the surprising teams so far as well. Because currently they are leading the Western Conference with 10 wins and 5 losses. We are still in very early phases of the regular season of course. Besides the most important part is going to be the playoffs. If they maintain a consistent effort then they might be one of the serious contenders for the championship who knows.

Yeah, bright future for him with the Blazers and the organization is giving him a good exposure that's why him and Lillard are a good complimentary. And they also get a good player in Grant that really brings a lot for the team that's why they are very successful this early.

But the real test in again playoff, I think there lack of experience might go against them unless Lillard turn into a beast just like the previous season.

I still remember betting huge money on them prior to Lillard getting injured and before CJ left. But it's a different roster now.

Quite a close game. Holiday is playing that makes the playing field even. Tyrese Maxey is injured but the game is still close. The sixers are on top by  5 points as this is writing with 2 minutes left in the game. This could still go anyway but the Sixers have the momentum. Joel Embiid is a monster right now, picking up the slack that Maxey and Harden have left because of their absence.

Looks like we are seeing a different trend this season compared to where it was a few years ago. It just shows that teams are becoming more competitive like you said to the point that a team doesn't need an all-star to be a better team.

A few years ago, in order for a team to enter the playoffs or at least have a chance to be a title contender, you need to have at least 2 all-star players in your team. We are still at the beginning of the season, but we are seeing teams that don't have either an all-star player or a superstar player but currently at the top 8. Teams like Pacers, Wizards, Jazz and surprisingly the Kings are now at the top 8 on their corresponding conferences and the ones who has an all-star player are currently at the bottom. Sixers, Nets, Heat, Lakers, Warriors now at the bottom 8.

Well, we are still at the beginning of the season, and anything might change as they play more games. We might see those teams at the bottom to go to top 8 and vice-versa.

It was a basketball game that was quite a struggle. The Miami Heat played very well in the second quarter, as the first half ended, I thought Miami would win the game. But in the last two quarters, the Wizards have played better and in the end they managed to win the game by just 1 point.

In general, Utah looks very promising, but it is still difficult to single out a clear favorite, there are many worthy teams.

How about Booker putting up 49 in a 1 point loss to the Jazz tonight… He had a great night also getting 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Markkanen had a super efficient scoring night for the Jazz that was though to overcome. He shot 15-18 from the field which is pretty insane. I’m guessing that was probably the best shooting night he’s had in his career. A shame the Suns couldn’t pull this one out.
