Ja Morant dropped 49 points in their game against the Rockets! Jalen Green also did great and there's no other front-runner on this team despite being one year with the team, his contribution is enormous, and not surprised that he's got the second pick for round 1 last year. Those that haven't watched some games of Ja should start watching him. Although he's got some bitter statements last time against MJ, this boy got really has something to show aside just from being athletic.
He already proved himself last season, he will be a hall of famer, I'm hoping that he will stay healthy so injury will not kill his career. That game we've seen how athletic he is, it's fun to watch the Memphis with him due to lots of highlights. Also, great job by Jalen Green, there's no superstar in the team but he is playing hard, so soon we might see him leading this team. That's the deterrent for most of these stars including him, having an injury. We saw it happen in many of them and how they're able to get back hard after their recovery. These two got no superstars but doing great jobs on their respective teams. Ja morant is a good player I am not against that, but people are overreacting on his good moves, and yes he is scoring a lot of points and he is playing well but that's a game that could be locked down easily with some good defense, a bit of zone on inside, some one step behind defending and you could lock him down on playoff games. Give it some time for Ja to learn and improved his game. I'm not saying that he is comparable to Jordan in his early years, but Michael was also going hard to the rim every night until he learn to shot outside when he is getting older. For now, let's enjoy Ja athleticm and see how he will adjust specially in playoff wherein teams are tightening their defense on him. Again, last season they have a good series against the eventual champion GSW, and they are the 2nd seed in the West. A lot of things on their side this season and see if they can have that performance once again.

I think Ja Morant is one of the hottest players in the game right now, and the Grizzlies should make sure that they nurture him well in order for him to be one of the best one day. It has been encouraging to see him play consistently over the past few seasons. I am confident that he will be a force to be reckoned with for Memphis during the current and upcoming seasons. Besides scoring 49 points, he even provided 8 assists and 4 rebounds, which are some incredible statistics for a player of his caliber. It would have been great if he had scored 50 but it is still a successful game for him. On the other hand, Green played a good match by scoring 33 points but it was not enough for him to get the win for the Rockets. regards duke

Lets take for example, DRose, damn, during his prime he was a complete player, has outside shooting, can take the game into his hands, and just like Morant can drive to the basket and jump over tall players. But when he got injured, it was over for him. He was able to come back and play, but that jumping ability is no longer there but at least he has developed his outside shooting when he was given back the chance to play in the NBA and still playing up to this day.

Injury is one of the major barrier that have brought many top high-class players down both in their performance and games. There's quite numerous star players that injury have ruined their career, especially the long term injuries. DRose, I could remember his time when he was still in limelight, he was one of the tough player I know but can't say the same currently. He still plays but this time, he struggles to put in his best, fans always have confidence in him but I don't presently, we always expects the best performance from him but it's rather too much to ask for since he have witnessed crucial injury in his career.

I’m a little surprised that the 76ers are starting out the season 0-3. Meanwhile the Bucks and Celtics are both undefeated. It’s still early but the Sixers have got to be starting to feel like the Harden move was a bit of a mistake.
Looks like no more nationally televised games until Tuesday when we’ll get to see Zion Williamson and Steph Curry (in different games) back in action on TNT’s doubleheader.

It must have been devastating to lose to a rebuilding team. I do not know what is wrong with the Sixers, but they have no business losing to Spurs. They are a complete team and in paper they should be good for a ECF or even a finals appearance. Doc Rivers should take a good look at their team and pinpoint what they need to do in order to win. They already have a good roster. I think the fault now lies with the coach. Yes, but how long his athleticism will take him? 5 more years or less? Maybe but training today is different than a decade ago. Now it is more advance that you can actually focus your training so that it can prevent injuries like that. A therapist can focus on what muscles to train so that ankles and knees are better protected. Just like how Curry and his therapist focus their training on his hips so he will be less prone to ankle injuries. As long as Ja trained his body right, he can continue to be athletic like that and avoid major or career threatening injuries.

Great start so far, that's because Zion is healthy, hopefully nothing serious will happen to him as we will know what would happen if Zion will be injured. Look how confident the Pelicans are, they know they have a reliable superstars that are willing to carry the team, so they are not afraid to shoot the ball and be aggressive to grab rebounds.
overall, this team is more good on defense, and that's very important especially in the playoffs.
It's worth noting that Ingram scored 28 points, and Valanciunas had a double-double with 30 points and 17 rebounds against the Hornets. So the great start of the season for the Pelicans isn't all because of Zion. This team really has a lot of potentials, and I also hope that Zion and other key players can avoid serious injuries. Honestly, it seems to me that if the Pelicans stay healthy, they will even be able to reach the Western Conference Finals. Zion is obviously one of the most significant players on the team. But success is not going to be a one-man show. The team will have to play as a team, to be successful. While we are concentrating on Zion some of the other players are silently contributing to the team and those contributions are very meaningful. I think Valanciunas was the most influential player for the Pelicans in this game. He was very crucial to the Pelicans winning this game against the Hornets as he pulled up 17 rebounds with 30 points. Ingram played really well also. CJ also played a crucial role in the Pelicans' win. I also agree that in the end, it will come down to the Pelicans being healthy. If they can avoid injury they have a really bright result waiting for them at the end of the season.

Nikola Jokic just tied Wilt Chamberlain in career triple-doubles. I think this will be the guy who will also break Oscar Robertson and maybe even Russell Westbrook if he keeps up this kind of performance. There's no doubt, his basketball IQ is unique. It's rare to find a center who can pass, score, and be the playmaker of the team. Denver Nuggets will definitely keep him for a long time and just surround him with good players in the next seasons to come.

Denver Nuggets will definitely keep him for a long time and just surround him with good players in the next seasons to come. He is just 27 right now, unless he gets injured that will heavily affect his game, I think he will break that record. We will see how far his duo with Jammal Murray will take them. I hope they won't end up like Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert that got disbanded without anything to show off. We saw last year that even without Jammal, Jokic was still able to carry the team into playoffs. Jammal now just has to get back his rhythm and chemistry with the team and they can shoot for at least WCF. I know they can because they have enough experience to at least get that far. Zion is obviously one of the most significant players on the team. But success is not going to be a one-man show. The team will have to play as a team, to be successful. While we are concentrating on Zion some of the other players are silently contributing to the team and those contributions are very meaningful.
We know they can play as a team as they have shown that last year in the playoffs. They were able to take the Suns to game 6 even though they do not have Zion on their lineup. We are so hyped about Zion because the team has been waiting for him to play a full season. I think they are hoping that Zion is the one man that can complete the team and will take them to a higher finish. They already built a good young roster. They already acquired a veteran that can guide them through CJ. All they need now is that their main man to be there, healthy and strong.

I get it everyone expects Lebron to bring them to playoffs and then some with how he has done it on cavs for so many years but he is too old to do that now.
Even though Lebron is still putting up good numbers up to this point, people should lower their expectations for him that he can still carry the Lakers. What are the other young guys doing there for the Lakers if, in the end, they will still rely on Lebron? People can rely on Lebron to help the team but to carry it, that's a different story. Anthony Davis is the most reliable player in the Lakers right now and has the capability to carry the team only if he stays healthy the whole season. That's a big question if he can finish all games this season up to playoffs if ever Lakers will make it. I agree. People are even still criticizing LeBron James because he cannot carry the team anymore at least towards the playoffs, they should check that LeBron is not that young anymore to that and he will be turning 38 this December. We should just enjoy ourselves on what he can still do for the team in his 20th season, by now, he is there to help the team put some scores and it's the young cores's responsibility like AD to bring the team to a win. Hopefully AD will not suffer serious injury this season because without him, the team will surely suffer what more without LeBron.

Of course, Jokic is a very valuable player, and the Nuggets management is well aware of that. As you probably know, the Nuggets agreed and signed a 5-year contract extension with him early in the offseason. So the Nuggets have already kept him for a long time since his current contract will only expire after the 27-28th season. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Jokic plays for the Nuggets his entire career.

Denver Nuggets will definitely keep him for a long time and just surround him with good players in the next seasons to come.
Yeah, Actually Jokic is the most valuable player for in NBA right now since he is good on both offense and defense while he is still young, The only reason why Nuggets still don’t get the championship or even close on WCF is because Jokic has no solid team mate that can cover him while he is resting. Nuggets play is centered to Jokic which is the reason why they are always being beaten by strong teams on playoffs but Aaron Gordon is now improving well and probably he will be one of the key player on Nuggets to help Jokic. It will be a loss for Nuggets if they let Jokic be traded since they are the one who develop this player since his rookie days.

They don't have Murray, he was injured last season so Jokic had to carry the team. However, since their offense heavily rely on Jokic, they became so predictable and they have no answer on a good team like the Warriors. I hope they will improve this season, well, they've proven they had improve because they beat the Warriors on the road.

They already have Murray to help, we know the IQ of Murray in terms of basketball skills, he can bring a big impact if he will play healthy this season, The first game with the Jazz gives a bad sign but afterwards they bounce back, beating the heavy favorite Warriors. It's unpredictable but for me it's good to see them enjoying their company and they still have that same system which rotates the ball well.

Jokic is still playing like an MVP, as long as he is healthy and the entire team, they should be hard to beat. The first game with the Jazz gives a bad sign but afterwards they bounce back, beating the heavy favorite Warriors. It's unpredictable but for me it's good to see them enjoying their company and they still have that same system which rotates the ball well. That was surprising really, but Jazz is a legit one, they actually get better when Gobert and Mitchell were traded.

As a big fan of that guy, I want him to stay in that team until the end of his career, just like how it ended with Dirk Nowitzki. I became a Nuggets fan because of him and Murray. I was aware about the sudden changes in their roster just before the league started and it appears that the Nuggets management is trying their best to surround him with roleplayers that would best suit his needs or what he lacks which is speed. That rookie Christian Braun, round 1 pick 21, they should check him out as he shoots very well. 3/4 beyond the arc in 16 minutes. He might be the shooter they need.

Good, that you pointed that Gordon is doing his best to help Jokic, but not only Gordon, both Porter and Murray are back in good shape for this season. Expecting to see a good winning streak for this team, they are good contender before if you still remember how they manage to beat the hot clippers it was Kawhi's first season with the Clippers and they are up 3-1 if my memory serves it right. Just not a great timing because it was AD's first year with the Lakers and the team was a full pack with all the role players who really doing well in each position that being a task for them.

Yeah, that was a hell of a ride for Gobert and Mitchell and yet they didn't achieve the goal that the Jazz is trying to achieve. The good part about the Nuggets is it's not just Jamal Murray and Jokic anymore, there's a rising star in their midst Michael Porter Jr. His "back injury" really made a number on his rising career but he has returned and it's looking better. 5 of 10 in the three-point line against the Warriors. Repeated it against the Thunder with 5 of 10 too. IMO, that's a good sign as Jokic will now have different options to pass the ball to.

I have to say this is going to get me hated, but I find Jokic to be a bit overrated. Yes dude has good stats that's for sure, but he is a slow center that doesn't really have that much skill at scoring if you ask me, he is using what he has right now but when he gets older, his passing will be the only thing left for him to do, his scoring will drop a whole ton, and his style is not going to age that well. I feel like Embiid is better, because he has the strength and fighting spirit that Jokic doesn't have. Smart players are valuable and Jokic is smart, but he is not going to be great for too many years, just 2 more years and we will see a steep decline for him if you ask me.

Yeah, that was a hell of a ride for Gobert and Mitchell and yet they didn't achieve the goal that the Jazz is trying to achieve. Yes, that chemistry didn't work, we may have to point it to either one of them, but now they are no longer team mates so we will see how they will do in their new teams. And so far they are doing good. The good part about the Nuggets is it's not just Jamal Murray and Jokic anymore, there's a rising star in their midst Michael Porter Jr. His "back injury" really made a number on his rising career but he has returned and it's looking better. 5 of 10 in the three-point line against the Warriors. Yes, initially we were wondering what happen to Porter Jr early last season because his numbers suddenly drop, but now it was due to his back injury. So hopefully he is back 100% healthy and so is Jamal Murray. That is already a version of Nuggets big 3 and then they have Gordon as well.
