If that's true, then the 76ers management should think about building a really strong team before Embiid runs out of patience.

Actually, Philly is always doing their best to build a strong core around Joel Embiid every season. Even reshuffling the coaching staff is being considered. They are always active at trying to get into hot trades and actively fishing some good role players at the free agency.

The "Trust the Process" that is currently several years in the making now achieved 1 achievement, and that is Embiid now finally getting his NBA Season MVP award. The next and the biggest one should be the NBA Championship but will he be able to achieve it in Philly or elsewhere?

Chemistry issues indeed. Again as I mentioned, several times already where Philly tried to build a solid lineup around Embiid but nothing works effectively. Maybe Embiid can find it on another team but as long as he won't demand a trade, Philly should just try their best to find a good role players out there that will perfectly blend with Embiid.

If they always change their roster each season then they might not get any best result in the long run since chemistry is really important in a team and they cannot get that if there's always a roster change happen every end of the season. Much better if they focus to build up good chemistry with current strong roster they have since for sure with that they might have a good chance to win a championship on their team. For now as you said they really need good role players since this could help them a lot.

Embiid has not shown any interest in leaving the team thus far, but there are rumors of his teammates, like James Harden, wanting a trade. In this situation, it might be worth considering trading Harden, as he hasn't performed at his best with the team. Embiid is the franchise player and team captain, so the focus should be on surrounding him with capable players who will commit to the system. Additionally, having a coach with a championship mentality is crucial for their success.

Changing the squad every season would not assist the players develop excellent chemistry; rather, they will get more confused while dealing with their teammates, since they will have tried to adjust to new strategies each season. The team requires experienced players who understand how to perform under pressure from their opponents on the basketball floor. Of course, there will always be a need to sign new players to replace either departing key players or injured ones; that is a simple fact that cannot be changed. The coach must awaken from his slumber and focus entirely on how to improve the team's performance.

What do you guys think of all this Zach Lavine rumor stuff going on?  I would say it's nonsense, but I listen to Chicago Sports radio on a daily basis and they are starting to say "where there's smoke, there's often fire".  So I think there's a legit chance he does get traded... but what I can't figure out is why on earth they signed Nikola Vucevic if they plan to trade Lavine?

Bulls basketball starting to look real ugly again. SMH

https://sports.yahoo.com/keep-eye-bulls-zach-lavine-170015705.html
And I thought they are now okay with their roster and adding a new point guard will be their only key to restoring their greatness. They got the disabled player exception which is 10 million, I don't think they need to trade him for someone else. Besides, the duo of DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine is getting better in their chemistry, all they need is a bit more patience. It's not their fault they are undermanned without Lonzo Ball, it's part of the game.
Surely, this will wreck their roster if they trade him. He had been the face of their franchise, it's just a matter of time and the right players to make them great again.
I think the Chicago Bulls management is drooling over the Harden and Lillard opening for trade. Trading LaVine + the $10M will give them the possibility to get one of them.

If that's what the Chicago Bulls were thinking, they should think more deeper. Both Lillard and Harden won't gonna help them win a championship. Yes, they're a great offensive player, but not as much defensively plus either of them will mess up the team chemistry.
Trading away Lavine will be their first mistake if that happens.  Instead they should focus on getting a legitimate big man and a spot up shooters who can also play defense, to add more depth to their current roster. Trading away one of their key players will not going to help them win a chip.

He might not shown his intentions directly, but thru his words, you can clearly that he is willing to get out of Philly and go to a championship contender team. Philly though has surrounded him with good players like a prime Ben, before the breakdown, and we have seen them getting closer, if not for that heart breaking lost to the Raptors lead by Kawhi. And now that Harden's want to leave, then it will be Embiid job again and it might be very difficult to him because he need another good A-caliber player to help him.

I agree to that, they already doing well and break again the chemistries by trading one of their main star is a big mistake.

It's better to have an additional big man and a legitimate shooter to add up and help them in their
campaign, for me, Lavine and DeRozan just need a good role players who can adopt the way they
play and help them in executing both their offense and defense. It's a decision that the management
needs to think twice if they are going to push in trading away Lavine.

With James harden trying to force his way out of Philly to the clippers, Ben Simmons shipped out & Markelle Fultz being a flop, it seemed like Philly was resting its hopes on Joel Embiid. Well, now Embiid is saying he doesn’t care what team he plays for, he just wants a championship. It looks like ‘Trust the Process’ may officially be a failure soon.
I thought the process was already over after the Simmons trade. He already has MVP attached to his name so it's understandable that the only thing left is winning the championship. I won't be surprised if he asked for a trade too just to get that ring. He doesn't strike me as a loyal and persistent player like Giannis.

Oh I bet he will ask for that in a few seasons from now specifically if the Philly will not give Embiid another buddy to keep the team rolling with or without him because he and Maxey will not be enough to get that ring. He may have the MVP award recently but that will not equate to someone who already have a ring and we all know that Embiid alone cannot at least bring the team to the conference finals.

Clearly, Embiid is not enough to bring the 76ers into the championship because he already proved that the job is too much for him, and the farthest place they go was only the Eastern Conference finals, They can't even get to the NBA finals these past few years. that's why they really need to work on their rosters to effectively improve, not just gonna randomly sign or trade star players that are not even interested to have the same goal as them. In other words, it's really nice for them to take out James Harden since he hasn't been effective in the last season and it could be worse if they don't make any move.

Prime Ben was not enough but if only this guy developed into something more than he was maybe they remained a serious contender in the following years. Harden is not in his prime anymore but I won't call his years in Philly ineffective, it's just that there are a lot of super teams in the NBA nowadays. If Harden would've remained in Philly then they are still a threat in the East.

The Boston Celtics is an example of a super team already yet it continues to grind hard in the market looking for openings and opportunities. Although I still prefer teams that are not star-studded but have enough role players like the Denver Nuggets.

I just found out that Derrick Rose signed a two-year deal with the Grizzlies that's worth $6.5 million. Third or fourth choice perhaps behind Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard but he'll get more minutes for the early part of next season while Ja Morant is still suspended. He'll probably retire after this.

That's right. They now have two of the most offensive player in the league and they are building chemistry. Why put another player and start all over again?
They actually have a good big man at Vuc, but he has no backup, foul trouble had always been his problem because he cannot do it all. A power forward slash center is what they need and a point guard just to cover for Lonzo Ball in the meantime, for this season actually. They ain't a bad team they are just undermanned. They lack defensive players and they lack backup players who would fill the shoes of those offensive players whenever they try to rest.

I just found out that Derrick Rose signed a two-year deal with the Grizzlies that's worth $6.5 million. Veterans contract. That's it for him. We might just see him during garbage time, sadly. At least he can still get some money. But, what a big waste because of injuries. I feel bad for him but that is how sports is.

Embiid's desire to win his first title is understandable. However, I've heard other rumors about him and the 76ers. There's a rumor that Embiid wants to go the way of Dirk and Kobe. In other words, he wants to stay with the 76ers for his entire career and win a title in Philadelphia. If that's true, then the 76ers management should think about building a really strong team before Embiid runs out of patience.

To be honest, Joel Embiid doesn't strike me as a loyal type of player who will play and retire as a 76ers until his time is up.

In the next few years, there is a huge chance that he might start and ask for a trade if there's no improvement within the roster because he's more of a player who will seek a team that has more chances of winning a championship title instead of staying on a team and be like Kobe and Dirk regardless of what will be the result at every end of the season.

I actually believe Derrick Rose is still a decent performer. But he is 33. And after two years, he is going to be 35. So it is not going to be surprising at all if he does end up retiring at that time. And I think he will get decent play time considering his age. I also think that he will actually be reliable. At least he will show good performance when he is given play time. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think not many people are going to actually complain about his performance at this age in my opinion.

Embiid looks quite happy where he is, even if they do not end up getting a championship, that doesn't mean he has to be upset there, sure he will of course want to be a big star there but that doesn't mean that he is going to ask for a trade.

We need to wait and see, if he does want to get traded, there aren't that many teams that lack center position and could content, because last years finalists had Jokic and Adebayo, and they won't give those players up, which leaves like maybe Lakers and maybe Warriors, those are the only ones I can see at the moment that could want him there and it should not be that weird for them to get him, but who are they going to trade for in that case? Sixers can't get anyone in that case.

He still has some gas in the tank I think but I doubt he got signed for his basketball skills. Of course he can still give you some numbers from the bench but he will more likely be used as a mentor for Ja Morant. I mean they are both playing PG and since he is a veteran and Ja has a lot of problems off the court he can give him some valuable insights how to be a professional and also act like one.

The Grizzlies surely have a mentality problem, that's why they developed into the most hated team last season. With Brooks gone and a good mentor on the team maybe they can shake of that reputation.

Tbh, I'd still have the Nuggets over the current Suns rosters. My views would change in mid season whether or not the Suns had an upgrade or just the same.
While too many talks about the rumors and biggest contracts, people are forgetting that the Nuggets are still Nuggets and they can still be this upcoming season's top team. But yes, that's likely to change when we see what happens to them in the mid-season. Because from there, it's going to be visible whether they're still dominating and they're likely to get into the playoffs. Although some of them have already been traded and gone out of the team but the entire major players are still intact.

No one would forget what the Nuggets did last season; it's just that they aren't a superteam, so the hype isn't really that big. Actually, there are still plenty of fans who believe the Nuggets won't repeat. This poses a challenge for them, and considering how humble this team is, they surely won't be complacent. Instead, they will work to improve their weaknesses.
It's a different marketing as well from the league because they're not as big as the other teams and the hype isn't there. If there are fans that do think they won't be able to make a repeat, that's okay. They even have got those before they win a ring. That's a normal mindset for them to have people that doubts them but that's not going to stop them from working harder this time to maintain the title on their position and they've got more confidence now.

Rose was pretty good early in his career, and I think now he could have been a GOAT and future Hall of Fame member if that ACL injury hadn't happened. As for the trade, I think the Grizzlies signed him primarily because he can be useful to them on the court since Morant will miss a lot of games next season, not to be Morant's mentor and babysit him.

Rose definitely would have been an alltime great if for not that knee busting loose on him.  Dude was amazing to watch when he was young, fearless which I guess was his downfall.  But in terms of skills he definitely has it in him to run 20 minutes on court.  I'm a knicks fan and he just wasn't in thibs rotation that's all.  Knicks went with a 9 man rotation and he was on the outside looking in just like Fournier was.
