I do agree that Rockets are trying their best and that is an improvement over course of some seasons, they are going to get even better but the main problem they will face is that they have a lot of young guys and they can't keep giving them the max all the time, yes their "max" is not like some Jaylen Brown levels of max, but they still can't just give them full on max, there is nothing wrong with that.

I believe that there is nothing wrong with the situation and should not be really considering the situation getting better, there could be a moment where they will have to take a step back and look who they really need and who they are going to end up using all the time, that's who they will keep and rest they may not resign.

They're a young team with no superstars so definitely they did well even if they lost against a star-studded Laker team. They might even be considered a rebuilding team since it's still developing and finding out the potential of its new players.

Overall I think they're doing well. I don't see any issues when it comes to their salary cap space. Is there even a max player in the team right now? If it's about the future, you don't have to worry about it since there will be changes and movements to come when needed.

That Laker game was a close one. I’m glad LeBron made that second free throw to get them the win. After he missed the first I was a bit concerned. After the last matchup with Dillon Brooks I’m glad LeBron got the best of him this time. Crazy close game. Same with the Suns game earlier. Good basketball tonight.
In the last quarter, Lebron James took full control and responsibility and scored the winning point. He made a lot of extra effort. When you look at it, he scored 37 points. After the Houston Rockets winning streak was broken, they started to lose with very close scores in the matches they competed well in. These losses are definitely very important experiences for the Houston Rockets, and I think they will learn very good lessons from these defeats. I cannot pass without mentioning Alperen Şengün. He left over twenty scores in this match. If this kid improves his three-point shooting, he can reach much higher levels and he clearly carries this potential.

As a Turkish person, I really got excited about the fact that Alperen played so well again, he is their highest scorer ppg, and he is not even using the most FGA neither, he is third, but his rate is so high. Plus, they gave him the last ball, so that he would go against the king himself, I do agree that Lebron may not be the greatest post defender in the world, but that is still such a big responsibility at such a young age, and not that he disappointed, he went ahead and scored that last bucket, that was an insane situation and definitely an experience that he will not forget anytime soon. I believe Alperen could be a great star one day if they keep using him like this, he just needs to take care of his foul troubles.

Yeah I like his game a lot.  Getting in foul trouble is an issue for a lot of younger players, they have a difficult time not reaching in.  Vets and guys who know the game know how to draw fouls and get guys in foul trouble if they seem a bit to jumpy.  Houston is building a nice little team.  Young but they should be a good team moving forward.

It was Austin Reaves who hit the three to give them the lead, although the assist did came for Lebron James. I'm not really sure what you mean extra effort, he is supposedly the leader of the Lakers so he needs to be consistent in producing that numbers.

And as said, if he did missed both free throws, the game might not be over and go into overtime. Missing free throws is one in crucial moments is one of Lebron's kryptonite, to say the least.

But I do agree, Alperen Şengün is turning out to be a good player, similar to Sabonis of Sacramento Kings, but he needs to be strong in the inside.

Not that much participants on the poll and it shows that Sixers have got the best start for this season garnering 4 votes. While the rest are just like one, two and four votes only.

Just wanna express how funny that image I saw because I've missed the actual game about Westbrook dunking on Dillon Brooks on his face. LMAO!

I am more interested with what team will win the In-Season tournament and I think the poll should be changed to that. Or it could be what teams will enter the Finals of the said tournament. As we can see this season, they are playing harder because of it, and it somehow made the NBA more interesting. I think Adam Silver will keep this event because the game suddenly became more competitive.
It also made the stars play more because of the new rule about load management. They are now afraid of whatever the fine that will be dealt for players that are resting without any good reason behind.

No max player, most are young players, and they also have a talented coach who had a remarkable season in his first year with the Celtics. No wonder the Rockets are playing better this season than it was a few years ago.

Now that KPJ is out with the team already, they might focus on developing their young players like Sengun, Green, and Smith Jr. They also have a veteran in Jeff Green who can help them as well. I'm not expecting too much with this young Rockets team, but with their new coach, I guess we expect that they will have a better record now than they had last season. The highest that they can get this season is the play-in tournament since the West is still as competitive as it was last season.

The Spurs are on an 8-game losing streak as they again lost to the Clippers who won 2 straight games already 124-99.

6 players in double digits for the Clippers, and it seems like they're starting to build the chemistry already. I'm still impressed by Westbrook's adjustment to play off the bench. Wembanyama on the other hand is kind of struggling averaging only 18.5 PPG in those 8 losses. I mean I know that he's still a rookie, but the expectations around him especially with the Spurs fans are high. TBH, with how Chet, and Victor are playing, it seems like Chet is having an upper hand over him, and he might steal the ROY over him. Cheesy Too early though, but still they on a losing streak currently.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors ended their losing streak against the Houston Rockets. 121-116
They will be going to Phoenix with lots of confidence in their next game and I hope they can give the Suns a good game. Houston Rockets is not a weak team anymore so the Warriors did grind to take this win.
Steph with 32 points, Klay with 20 points, and CP3 with 15. The combo looks better now and the turnover was cut in half, unlike their previous games.
8 turnovers only and this should be their average if they want to win more games in the future. Protect the ball and use the possession like it's always the final seconds of the game.
21/43 in distance shots. That's almost 50 percent which feels like the Splash brothers are back. They have fewer points in the paint 16 only against 56 of Rockets but that's how the Warriors play, they live in the three-point line.

Westbrook already had experience performing as a bench player when he was with the Lakers. So, it should not be surprising that he can quickly adapt to his new role with the Clippers. As for Victor, 18.5 points per game isn't only, it's a good result for a rookie. In fact, he's a rookie like other young players, and I think the expectations for him have been overblown by the media.

Yeah, it put an end to their long losing streak, and it's a good thing that Thompson is performing well, especially when Wiggins is struggling. Curry and Thompson are the top scorers in this game, as expected from the Splash Brothers. It seems like the Rockets might be quite tired, considering their continuous traveling and now being on a three-game losing streak. Their last game at home is done, and the next one is against the Suns on the road. I wouldn't expect them to win, though, as the Suns have been playing great basketball. If they can't contain Durant and Booker, I think they'll likely face a tough challenge.

Westbrook already had experience performing as a bench player when he was with the Lakers. So, it should not be surprising that he can quickly adapt to his new role with the Clippers.

It's a smart move that they benched Westbrook or let him lead the second unit. Now, they're winning, and if we look at the big 3 in the starting lineup, their overall field goal percentage is now acceptable, with a combined 51% or 23/45 shooting. Granted, if you examine individual stats, Harden's numbers are struggling at 4-12, but we can overlook that considering he was the hero in the last game. That should be enough to overshadow his poor performance.

As for Victor, 18.5 points per game isn't only, it's a good result for a rookie. In fact, he's a rookie like other young players, and I think the expectations for him have been overblown by the media.

I hope he will not put too much pressure on himself, he was overhype by the media and the main reason to that is his height and that he got some move which we've seen in the recent games, but he's not ready yet, he still has a big room for improvement,  starts with growing some muscle I guess.

Nice to see the Warriors get a win and break their losing streak as the sudden losing streak for the Rockets continues. It’s like the league figured out how to beat them. The story of the night might be LaMelo Ball turning into a bonfire superstar in Charlotte as he helped lead them to a win over the Boston Celtics.

It's 9 straight losses already mate. The Spurs are now the worst team in the Western Conference. And I expect the streak to continue since their next 3 games are against the Clippers again, the hungry Warriors in San Francisco, and the Nuggets in Denver. I am not sure if this was or a 12-losing streak is the worst in Spurs history.

If Chet somehow becomes the second scoring option in OKC then he'll have the chance to win. Right now, I still think Wemby gets it because everything in the team is centered on him. But I do hope Chet steals it, I always see him as the more mature and smarter player and it shows with his current efficiency.

For looking at that picture it will tell that Wemby will not win a rookie of the year for this season since he is surrounded by bad teammates which can't support him to do more better performance on the court. And Spurs offense is quiet predictable since most of the time they are relying on Wemby that's why their opponent find a counter action against him.

That's why its clear that Chet will win a rookie of the year this season since he have good teammates that can provide good numbers and he became OKC offense is quiet unpredictable that's why Chet can easily operate on the court and give more better output.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors ended their losing streak against the Houston Rockets. 121-116

Yes, they ended up winning after that losing streak, good to see Splash Bro exchanging their attacks and really making their shots
it helps a lot in terms of bringing the sparks to the whole squad.

Plus we see everyone really trying to hassle up and help, aside from that high production of Steph almost everyone brings their own shares and provide additional help.

With a long way to go they just need to add more hassle and good ball movement to find that open man to take an easy shot.

Yes, Chet might steal rookie of the year if teammates of Wemby are not defending on him,I am pretty sure Coach Pop have another strat for this. Chet have more efficiency on the floor than Wemby, Chet may be second in scoring but that can be improve and train. That’s why Chet Have a more chance to get the ROY. If he improve more and more then Chet will be the ROY.

Better rotation for Spurs and get a comeback for them. They have to defeat Clippers, Warriors, and Denver.

Agreed. Besides, OKC is more well balanced team and also Chet has dependable teammates while Wemby doesn’t. Wemby is avoiding contact and playing like a PG that’s why his team suffer because he is playing on his own.

Wemby is just hype while Chet is proving something as we can see on his well balance stats. OKC will have a better rum against SA so I’m sure Chet can build his stats even on scoring to beat Wemby that is not consistent on his game.

He gets this from the advice of veterans for sure especially those big men because once he suffers a major injury, it won't be the same anymore for him like Greg Oden. it's nice to not rush it right now because he has the skills and perseverance to become a star player in the future like any other big man who is famous in NBA history. He needed to take the stairs slowly but surely and just because he was hype to the sky, he needed to prove himself. that's not the right thing to do and this is just part of the business you need to learn from the veterans because what people say will not fill your pocket once you get seriously injured.

What you're saying is that Wemby isn't playing his best to avoid getting injured? I find that hard to believe. Just because we've seen him have some great games in the past doesn't mean we should speculate that he's deliberately holding back now to avoid getting injured. This competition is based on performance metrics, and from what I can see, Chet is already leading in that regard.
