Westbrook coming off the bench has been working so far. There were reports that he personally requested to be "relegated" from his starting role so the team could start playing better and winning. It's not that I'm surprised with the decision to sacrifice but kudos to him if that's what really happened.

It's good that he quickly accepted his role as a bench player and that could be a part of him being a basketball player because it's not really about himself rather is for the team to catch up in the great intense play by the other teams. their adjustment is really worth it and that's not really a big deal for Westbrook unlike when he was in the Lakers, they put the blame on this poor guy. Hopefully, he can recover his old self so that he can be an asset for the team and for their dream to get into the NBA finals not just get choked in the NBA playoffs.

Congrats LeBron for 39k points. It's always nice to witness this kind of record. I'm sure we'll see 40k points before he retires.
LeBron's current contract ends after the 24/25 season, and this is most likely the last contract of his career. In other words, LeBron will play in the NBA for at least two more seasons, including the current regular season, which means he's going to break the 40k point mark anyway. Personally, I expect LeBron will have 42-43k points by the time he decides to end his career.

I think if he can avoid injuries he’ll probably do 2 more seasons. Maybe 3 more after this year if he can continue playing at a high level. Statistically, I think it’s assists he’s really trying to get up. He has potential to be #2 all time if he became more of a passer. What we saw from him tonight isn’t it though. He lost the game with that poorly placed alley-oop attempt to AD.
I think it all depends on the teams he plays, I mean we are still seeing a superstar level contribution to the team by Lebron, that's actually quite troublesome for him, he shouldn't be doing this. I think he should not be at a team that he is the star of, he should be at a team where he is not expected to do this much. If we could see him do a lot different, like a team where he is not the star, he is not the guy with the ball all the time, not the guy who tries to score 30+ every game, then he would be bale to play a lot longer, but when he is asked to do this much, it feels like it is going to take a lot longer.

I think it is going to be a situation where it is going to end up with a situation that will be a bit different. With his kid coming to the league, if his son is drafted by some other team, he will not have a contract with Lakers and he could go for that team too and player with his son there, it is quite possible and would be something fun to see.

Meanwhile , Clippers are having 3 victories in a row and by the way they play , I think the 4th one will come too.  Cool

Yeah, and I would say that the teams they have face and games they won against a weaker team. I'm not saying that Clippers is a bad team, but they will still need to go to a lot of test before we can say that they are very effective indeed or the sacrifice of WB to come from the bench and not to start is going to pay off. 2 of their wins is against San Antonio Spurs, and one from Houston, it's not that they have face a strong team and win big.

Good test will be against a team from the East like the Boston Celtics or Sixers, it's a complete team that can match their superstars.

Or maybe Denver Nuggets too, if they are healthy and Jamal Murray back in the line up.

Looks like we have a day off from NBA games as the league lets its players celebrate Turkey Day here in the United States. Plenty of NBA drama to keep up with on social media though as the Oklahoma City Thunder are dealing with Josh Giddy apparently having a relationship with a 16 year old girl. His career may now be toast.

Well, a happy Thanksgiving then to all Americans out here. I was actually laughed at the description at one of the article saying he's dating the same as his 3pt percentage, LMAO. I think the allegations are still speculation until proven but wow that could really be serious if it's true it's an underage girl.

Chet is on the right team as they are on a mission, not just to make the playoffs but to be competitive once they are in the playoffs. With SGA playing the way he is and Chet making significant contributions, this OKC team is stronger than last season, and they've gained valuable experience. On the other hand, Wemby's hype might persist, but it's hard to ignore that his numbers aren't living up to the fans' expectations anymore.

Chet Holmgren is on the right track with the Oklahoma City Thunders and because they have an ace on their sleeves for sure the Oklahoma City Thunders surely can go into the play-offs for sure even though it is too early to say the lease for sure just like last season the Miami Heat back then is in the 8th seed going into the finals from last season, so we can not say for sure if the San Antonio Spurs would likely drop into the last seed there is still chance for them making it to the playoffs

For me, the season is still starting so for sure the San Antonio Spurs still have the chance of making it to the playoffs Victor Wembanyama is Still starting so for sure his chemistry with the Spurs is still not established yet, for me

SGA is on the MVP rankings and I think he'll stay on that level as long as he remains healthy, they are one of the youngest team now in the NBA and coming up at the top position in the West feels like it was Westbrook-Durant era. I think that ROTY will be snatch by Chet if Wemby wouldn't make some difference on his stats.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander really deserves of what is ahead for this kid for me it is greatness for sure and he works hard for it so he is really deserving, and for sure he can get what he wants in the future, for Chet Holgrem he is doing fine on the Oklahoma City Thunders and the Thunders right now is one of the incredible team so far, and because this is just the start of the season there are still many that can happen, so let's sit back and relax,

First time I saw something like that happen. Respect to Coach Pops. He ain't afraid the San Antonio fans might boo him after. Cheesy Other coaches would just let it go but I think Kawhi is also like a son to him who gave him one ring and the San Antonio fans too, a thank you would be enough rather than boos.

Anyway, the former champions Denver Nuggets seem to be having a hard time winning their games. Just 2 wins out of their last 6 which I don't think is a good number. They are trying to build Julian Strawther's confidence but what they really need is Jamal Murray to be back. I think it's going to take one more week before the star point guard will be in Nuggets uniform again.
Orlando Magic played well with Franz Wagner leading the offense with 27 points and 23 points for Paolo Banchero. But the real star on the crucial part is Cole Anthony, those last critical possessions that he made were the big reason for the Magic win.

Warriors on the other hand are back to losing. Well, I wish they can somehow create some confidence to win against the San Antonio Spurs next.

Gregg Popovich is doing his all in making the San Antonio Spur into a team that can make a difference, but for sure it is likely hard for now as the team chemistry with Victor Wembanyama is still lacking for sure,

The Denver Nuggets would really need Jamal Murray and his double-double digits for the team, it is not really easy for Nikola Jocic to be solo with the plays they still need speed as Jamal Murray is providing it with a faster pace,

While the Golden State Warriors got a lot of closer game losses, they still need a little push with Jonathan Kuminga but if Kuminga can not make himself a needed prospect for the team I can surely see a trade opportunity for him while they badly need a push on their confidence for sure, but if they got lost to the Spurs this upcoming game then for sure then the team confidence will surely shatter,

I also prefer Chet to win. I'm planning to make a bet on him while it's still 2.50. Wemby is at 1.50 so I am not surprised if he will really take the ROTY knowing he has all the time to pump his stats. There's also a big difference when it comes to the coaches since OKC's mission is to win and get into the playoffs as deep as possible. While the other coach is fully giving his time to Wemby.

Next season should be another interesting one in terms of these 2 players. But I expect OKC to become a better team that is capable of becoming NBA champions while San Antonio starts building players fit Wemby.

OKC is now second in the Western Conference and is on a 6-win streak. Chet is in a better team but he also has tougher surroundings since he needs to continue stepping up his game or he won't get the playing time or trust on their plays.

Meanwhile, Wemby and the Spurs are now on a 10-game losing streak. I expect the streak to reach 12 since they'll be traveling next to San Francisco and Denver in their next 2 games. The season is still young though, win or lose Wemby's stats have a good chance of improving while he is also gaining NBA experience and lessons.

Wemby and Chet are both in a good spot as they are getting the playing time they need to explore the league, with more experienced
with more game time they will be able to adjust.

Maybe from what we are seeing it's Chet who is really getting the advantage as OKC is really performing and he's bringing his game be noticeable.

I like how the coach gives him the trust and he's really not wasting anything both on offense and defense, he's really adding to the team's overall performances.

Yes, he was given the exposure, perhaps the team expects something big from Chet or he is just a player that really wanted to help his team, and so far we have noticed his performance and it's scary his potential will be in the future.

And it's hard not to compare him with Wemby, both are running for a rookie of the year and it looks like Chet might have a slight advantage if we will see today's voting.

Nevertheless, it's a long season and we will see more of them and we will see how the Spurs will break from their losing streak or Chet really becoming a solid OKC player.

If things will not go according to his plan and he get injuries then maybe he would think about retirement. But if he's plan will come together and still he can dominate in the floor then maybe that contract will be extended especially if he can play with his kid since this is speculated to happen by LBJ fans.

Also for sure at the end of his current contract he might break more record so for sure we can see more greatness and we should enjoy it since once this guy retires we might don't see a same like him. Lebron might get that 42k-43k point miles stone but above 40k is already fine since this is already hard to break by any current player .

I think two years minimum, that's how long James can still play competitively and just waiting for Bronny to come in the NBA before he retires, so yeah, most likely a season wherein he can score at least 2000 points then he will be on his way to have 42k-$43k points in his entire career and I don't think that anyone can break that record.

And we all know how James is also a freak, a genetic anomaly that he was able to stay this long in the NBA and still have that kind of bounce and competitiveness in him to score or average more than 20 points a game, can still run and chase down blocks and hammer that ball hard.

Chet before his injury has been expected to perform and now OKC gives him all that time to bring everything in, and he's not disappointing anyone, though it's too early for concluding but if Chet will continue and will play without any injury this season winning ROY is possible.

On the other hand, Wemby is also doing his best, but support is not theirs for him, unlike Chet who got SGA who can really help him to establish his

skills, someone that can carry him and win games alongside with him.

I think Victor Wembanyama also have a great supporting cast that could help get into his best form and reach highest potential, but unlike OKC, the San Antonio Spurs is a complete work in progress and Gregg Popovich doesn't even have a definitively role for Wembanyama yet, he's play currently playing as either a forward or center, with Zach Collins still occupying the center role more, while the Spurs best play makers have not been always available too, speaking of Tre Jones, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson. OKC have taken the last entire season with Chet out injured to figured out how he would slot perfectly into the team, and regardless of all these neither Chet nor Wembanyama have underperformed so far this season, and I believe they can only get better to be very honest!

I was one click away to place a bet on Pacers and I'm glad I didn't do it because I said to myself that his team is always swinging between good performances and bad performances but last night I think it was just bad luck for them vs Raptors who is a team that really loves to play offensive basketball but also they don't focus a lot on defense.
It was a crazy game in Indiana. Hali made his free throws but it's difficult when you are trailing and playing the foul game. Trent missed both last free throws but the Pacers lack a timeout to make a play so they will have to go for it.
Hali did the right thing passing the ball to Buddy because he is open but he could've taken it to the rim instead and tried a deuce. The lead was just one, they didn't need a three and they got down the side of their court with 4 seconds remaining to take a shot, enough time to enter the paint and try to make contact.
It's a good play but there's a better one, that's all I am saying.

Meanwhile , Clippers are having 3 victories in a row and by the way they play , I think the 4th one will come too.  Cool
San Antonio fans poked the bear. Big mistake.
Kawhi Leonard punished them for booing him. I think that's also why Coach Pops tried to quiet them down. Cheesy Just kidding.
LA Clippers is getting their rhythm and I am not expecting much from Spurs yet because Wemby is still young. This is just a good way to gain experience and he doesn't need to feel bad about losing games just yet.
Coach Lue's rotation is much better now and I think Westbrook is getting used to it too.

How about Scott Foster and CP3 again,

And obviously, this two has a beef years ago that only players knows, but this beef seems to be very personal, as Paul say that Scott mentions his sons,

Yeah somehow he have good and understanding teammates that can play with the role the coach set. But that's not enough since they also need to step up because nothing gonna happen with them if they continue to lose and it mentally distract Wemby especially all fans are watching him play and follow his progress. But I believe that Chet willl win the ROTY this season since between two comparison he is much consistent player than Wemby and OKC is doing so good this season.

If there is a improvement, I think it will be more on Wemby as it's obvious that he is a work in progress and being experiment by the great coach Pop. And if I'm not mistaken, in the first 5-6 games he was just used sparingly, maybe trying to avoid the kid from getting injured.

And although he is great, he is still raw as you watch him play. That's one advantage of him though, he can and will developed in the next couple of years and he will really be look scary. Both Chet and Wemby has a lot of potential but it will be a very close race for the ROY.

I disagree with that. In my opinion, Coach Pop isn't the kind of coach to put all the team's focus on one player leading the charge. No doubt, Wemby's got talent, but this squad should stick to the old-school Spurs style – solid defense and lots of players getting in the mix. The Spurs hit their peak, at least from what I recall, during the Duncan, Parker, and Manu era. When Leonard joined, things got even better. Not sure if we'll witness the Spurs in that prime situation again.

Coach Pop finds himself in a tough spot where his once stellar legacy could take a hit. After a successful stretch with the big 3 and Leonard, his team is now on a downward spiral and is currently the NBA's worst. While he recently inked a deal with the management, if the team's performance doesn't pick up, there's a fear he might retire prematurely. It would be a shame if he ends up getting the boot after achieving success in the past.

CP3 struggled when Foster officiated his games; his statistics does not look appealing. While this may feel personal, CP3 must acknowledge that Foster's role is to officiate. If he has concerns, addressing them professionally and filing a complaint is the appropriate course of action. He can't say something that would affect the team's chances of winning, that's being unprofessional and selfish at the same time.

The OKC is becoming a trend currently due to its 6-game winning streak and they're now second in the Western Conference. But it will be more exciting to watch their next 4 games as they're facing the other top teams, Philadelphia, Timberwolves, Lakers, and then Dallas.

Meanwhile, after the Milwaukee-Boston game, maybe some of you watched when Giannis asked if he watched Wembanyama play. The answer was very unusual, he said he never watched basketball except when he sat on the bench during Bucks' games. I wonder if he's just upset with the close defeat of he's just another Jokic who play basketball but not a fan of it. Cheesy

The answer was very unusual, he said he never watched basketball except when he sat on the bench during Bucks' games. I wonder if he's just upset with the close defeat of he's just another Jokic who play basketball but not a fan of it. Cheesy

Giannis is just keeping it real. He has become what he is now because he focuses extensively on improving his own game rather than watching other games on live TV. It could be that they are upset with the loss, especially after making significant changes to improve the team, only to still fall against a legitimate competitor like the Celtics, if I recall correctly. Most of the time these two teams face off, the Celtics have more wins compared to the Bucks. It seems Giannis has it in his mind that he wants to beat the Celtics, and only a victory will truly satisfy him.

How about Scott Foster and CP3 again,

And obviously, this two has a beef years ago that only players knows, but this beef seems to be very personal, as Paul say that Scott mentions his sons,

Quote
LEAKED Audio Of Chris Paul Arguing With Scott Foster👀:

Paul: “In the way? I was in the way? That’s bullsh*t!

Foster: “No, that’s not bullsh*t. Enough”

Paul: “Get the f*ck out of here with that”

Later, CP3 called out Foster for mentioning his son: “He’s talking about my son!”

Both of them have already had a good relationship ever since if you know what I'm saying. Cheesy
I don't know the exact numbers, but the record of CP3 when he plays, and Scott Foster is officiating is around 10+ losses compared to only 1 win. I don't know when he got that first win, but what I remember is he got it during the playoffs.

I guess if you're the bettor, you might need to look at the officiating crew first because they really are just sh*t. I'm not saying all though, but most including Scott Foster, but who cares? He's been a referee for a very long time, and other people don't want to mess with him while fans look at him as one of the worst referees out there for his kind of "biased" officiating.

The OKC is becoming a trend currently due to its 6-game winning streak and they're now second in the Western Conference. But it will be more exciting to watch their next 4 games as they're facing the other top teams, Philadelphia, Timberwolves, Lakers, and then Dallas.
When they saw Chet playing already this season, many including me expected that the Thunder would be better than they were last season. I mean who expected for them to be at the play-in tournament? There might be some, but not for me. Even though the season hasn't started yet, many already predicted that the Thunder will at least get the 6th spot.

They will clinch the playoffs. That's for sure, but we know that the regular season and playoffs are very different so even though they clinch the playoffs, they might get eliminated in the first round depending on the team they will be facing. I hate to spoil it, but that's my prediction. Anyway, I hope that the Thunder will continue to play like this, and TBH, I might vote on Chet Holmgren as my Rookie of the year over Wembanyama. Cheesy
