I just recently understood how the rules will be in a tiebreaker of the In-Season tournament. So, it was a point system, just like in FIBA and the Olympics.
When the commentator talked about it during the Warriors vs Kings game that the Warriors need 12 points and win the game, that's when I understood it. I am stupid to think that they will use the regular season rankings to identify the winner.

So, the Warriors were defeated so I guess there's no problem in Group C anymore. It was actually a sad defeat because they tried very hard to make a 17-point lead and I really thought they could win the game. But Payton was hurt, CP3 was also hurt, and those two will be their key to winning the game. Sure, Wiggins is hot but still, when it comes to defense, Payton was the one who stopped Fox from attacking the paint.
It was a nice rotation from Steve Kerr, he did well despite all those problems. But, they still lost and I think the Warriors need more time to catch up on chemistry with Draymond Green.

I was surprised to see the Warriors though losing the game, I thought they have it in the bag when they build a huge lead in the second quarter, never bother to watch. But when I check the score the Kings was able to make that huge comeback and win the game. Fox can't be stop by Klay, if I'm not mistaken he was the first one to handle Fox, but we all know how fast he is. Draymond is back in the game, but still, not enough, and yes I think there could be chemistry issues right now with the Warriors but they have the mentality of a champion, so I think they can figure it out.

I was watching the game and was already in the impression that the Warriors already owned it, to my surprise that back-to-back errors of both
Curry and Green bring the green light for the home team.

Leading by 5 or 6 points less than a minute of the game, not sure what happened but it seems that Green's presence is no longer effective.

They need to find more adjustments to complete whatever they start to secure the win, else, it will keep disappointing them
if the same outcome will take place.

Same here, who would have thought they'll lose, they're even up 18 points at some point.  Sad

If it wasn't the warriors who are leading in with seconds left in the game, I would think that it's a 50/50 game, but it's the Warriors, they are good at this crucial moment, so it's very uncharacteristics for them to make mistakes especially coming from Curry and then Draymond who are considered as a clutch players.

I guess there's nothing we can do here. Don't blame them too much or they'll not win again, LOL... Better luck next time, Warriors still got more games, it's now up to you guys if you would still trust them to disappoint you again -- Grin Grin

It looks like Celtics and Sixers started great in first 10 matches. Timberwolves is leading the West but they don't get much appreciation in the poll.

What's the hot discussion right now? Do you have any suggestion for our new poll? Let me know so I'll change it.

First team to get 20 wins maybe?

That's a good question to be in the poll? At least we don't have to wait forever to get the result, after that, you can put another question again. If that would be in the poll question, I guess my vote would be on the Magic to get the first 20 win. I'm just trying to be different as probably no one sees how good the magic this season too.

They keep disappointing us, it's not new anymore.

Warriors can't even on their home court, how can we expect to play better on the road.

The Kings have some personal matters with the Warriors and they are not just giving them an easy win right now after they were kicked by the Warriors in the NBA playoffs last season. That was just amazing because you cannot see such kind of game every day where they were behind 20+ points and they battled throughout the game until they choked the Warriors in the last minute and simply snatched the win from them. That was really an embarrassing performance and surely they will not be able to move on from that easily.

They are not a simple opponent but for sure Kings treat Warriors as huge rival since they always get defeated by them that's why they do all their best to come up huge with this game and upset Warriors. If they got defeated on their game then this is another achievement for Warriors to continuous defeating them. Now Fox and the rest of the Kings show how tough they are that's why many people got surprise on the huge win against Warriors earlier.

Many thought that Kings will lose on that game since the score is so big to take over but they show some good sport and make those hopeful fans of Warriors a upset for defeating there favorite team in a supposed to be  huge chance to win for them.

I haven't seen any post about the recent sell-off of Mark Cuban's shares of Mavs to a buyer, the Adelson family. I am a fan of Mark Cuban because he's a brilliant businessman and also one of the best and looked up NBA team owners in the league. While for the Adelson family, this is the first time I've heard them.

As for the news, it's still Mark Cuban who will manage the team and will keep the shares that he has sold to the family. It's like that he's going to be the manager of the Adelson family. A very different setup, unlike the one that did Michael Jordan to the shares he's got with the Hornets.
And for the amount how much the valuation is, look at the quote below from Shams tweet.

News: Mavs Rumors: Mark Cuban in Process of Selling 'Significant Stake' in Team to Adelsons

Sources: Mark Cuban is selling a majority stake of the Dallas Mavericks to Miriam Adelson and casino tycoon Adelson family for valuation in range of $3.5 billion. In one of most unique setups in NBA history, Cuban keeps shares in team and full control of basketball operations.

I think everyone watching the game was surprised to see the Warriors lose. That one one hell of a comeback by the Kings, who seem to have the Warriors number these days. The Warriors are just getting old and the Kings exploit their age and lack of size with youth, running, and Sabonis downright bullying them in the paint.

Yes, I think it's personal for them, from the last season's playoff wherein as the favorite, Warriors beat them. And then this season wherein the Warriors have their numbers already. But in this game, they didn't allow that huge lead to be a factor to make a comeback and show why they are a solid team in the West.

And so even if they meet in the playoffs again, it could be a different outcome. The mentality of the Kings are very different now. They have matured and learn from their past mistakes and surely this win is very big for them as they will boost themselves and motivated to be better.

Yeah the points do matter, and when that suddenly became a thing, the "you do not score last points in a blow out game" thing became mute as well.

Normally, when you are ahead by 20 points on the last 10 seconds, you do not shoot and if anyone does shoot there is a problem, we have seen players attack each other for moves like that, most recent I can remember was crawford or someone, in the end you just don't do that, it's an unwritten rule, if you are leading and other team stops and accepts the loss, you do not try to score. Here though? During the in-season tournament, teams do score, even if they have a last second shot and leading by 30 points they still try because points do matter and who will go up could be decided based on that.

It's really hard to have committed players that's why they should consider not always trading their players nowadays because they may end up like this and with their current state, there will be no doubt that they cannot get to the NBA playoffs with this kind of performance. The Clippers should consider fixing their plays and strengthening their chemistry because it is such a shame that they can't even win a game from a team that resting their star players, what more if they meet up in the Playoffs in the first round?

Well, what about if a player just wants to be out of a team but for sure they can make a player stay in the team that will be a good thing, and if that player is on the main roster or helping the team to actually win then that is a great player to keep but if that is getting the team into a kind of trouble then it is great to trade those players for sure, as for sure the chemistry of the team is really crucial as if a player doesn't like each other then it will be crucial for the team for sure,

A bunch of in-season tournament games today and a couple of them will be aired on TNT for Chuck and the crew to give commentary on. First up is the Miami Heat vs the Milwaukee Bucks. Then you have a rematch of last year’s playoff battle between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings which I think will be a good one.

For sure the Miami Heat VS Milwaukee Bucks was a close game both teams did a great job in getting the lead on each other but the Milwaukee Bucks are pretty much a better team now not unlike last season's game where the Miami Heat won the game and because Giannis Antetokounmpo has an injury last time, but this time with Damian Lillard and Jimmy Butler can not play for that game it was a clear win for the Milwaukee Bucks,

While the Golden State Warriors lost this game it was a very close game for sure this win for the Sacramento Kings is revenge on the early win of the Golden State Warriors against the Kings,

They probably changed their strategy already, I've noticed in their previous games that they aren't so dominant in the 2nd half anymore, so I guessing they're trying to have a good start so they'll not gas out in the 4th quarter. Despite of the lose, I still find the strategy seemed working, the Warriors just made a bad decision down the stretch, like thoses costly turnovers that resulted to an offense on the other side, that shouldn't happen during their normal game and to think that the Warriors are used to tough situations, I'd say it's just a bad game for them.

Don't worry Warriors fanatics.... they'll bounce back with a big win!

Sure they can still get into the playoffs, just like last season as the Warriors are even in the Further 6 seeds the Golden State Warriors still made it into the playoffs but eventually lost to the Los Angeles Lakers but that was really something as the Golden State Warriors did lost to the Los Angeles Lakers las seasons,

Not really embarrassing. The Kings have been playing great basketball since last year and they continue to prove it this year, and the Warriors on the other hand really kinda suck early this season, especially Klay who seems to have lost his impact to his team.
Let's see if they could turn the table around and improve eventually.
It's also good to see for both of this team face in the playoffs again.

Perhaps it's embarrassing for the Warriors, they have built a solid lead, and as a former champion, and still have their core, they can hold on it. And remember that they already defeated the Kings the last time, and so this will be just another clinic for them and it did.

However, the Kings doesn't want to be another victim of the Warriors as they climb back from 20+ points lead in the second quarter, cut it to 17 at the end, and then win the next 2 quarters. And with that huge comeback, they bury the Warriors for the first time.

Maybe the Kings don't have the same level of experience as the Warriors, but I have no doubt that Sacramento will improve and in the future, they are a young team with great potential.

I also confess that it would be very interesting to watch the Kings x Warriors face each other again in the playoffs.

It would be but really the Warriors beat themselves.  Sacramento shot 20 free throws in the third quarter AND they had 20 turnovers in the game.  On the road and they still only lost bull a last minute bucket.  Not taking anything away from Sacramento but they shoukd have blown out the Warriors last night.  In the playoffs that's not gonna fly.

Klay could be the key there, but then again, this season, Klay is very disappointment for Warriors. Yeah, he had that one game wherein he give us the buzzer beater against the same team last November 1.

But not this game, the Kings can't be deny, who is guarding Sabonis? it's GPII so it's a total mismatch and he just bully everyone in the inside. Looney and Saric can't do anything about Sabonis either.

It looks like Celtics and Sixers started great in first 10 matches. Timberwolves is leading the West but they don't get much appreciation in the poll.
Nobody expected them to be at the top spot. It's the same with Thunder. TBH, I didn't expect the Thunder to be at the top spot right now. I expected them to be at least at the 5th-8th spot at the start of the season, but they are playing well currently led by SGA and Chet.

As for the Timberwolves, this is the team I didn't expect to be at the top. I mean my expectations for them are low, but they're now at the top already. It seems like Gobert is back at it's "Defensive player of the year" self-already, and KAT is starting to make some improvements already. They also have good role players in Reid, and McDaniels, and a good PG in Conley. I just hope that they maintain this top spot, or if not then at least be at the top 4.

What's the hot discussion right now? Do you have any suggestion for our new poll? Let me know so I'll change it.

First team to get 20 wins maybe?
Coach of the Year? MVP? Scoring champion for the regular season?
