2026 NBA Season

I guess we’ll have to wait until the playoffs before making any strong predictions.. I don’t want to underestimate the real contenders in the West like the Wolves and Nuggets. Now that the Lakers are stronger with Luka, even though OKC holds the number 1 spot, I’m honestly not confident they’ll make it past the WCF at best. And of course, let’s not forget the Warriors and Rockets, who are now healthy again as they could still shake things up in the West.

It’s a different story now for OKC compared last year since SGA is already developed well so good in clutch while he has reliable teammates now compared before especially now that Chet is back and healthy.

I think OKC is not a choke team anymore since SGA is unstoppable with Chet presence inside.

On the other hand, Lakers is indeed so hard to beat on game 7 series since they already have Luka that is so good finisher.

SGA on playoffs plays less self centered play unlike what he is doing right now because he usually receives more focus defense due to the series game. OKC is just strong on regular season because enemy team can’t analyze first his play but the moment he was shut down OKC is done especially Dort that is useless on crucial game.

I’m still looking forward for OKC but it will be very tough for the to survive even the round 2 of the playoffs in WC.

They grew up. That's what happened. This young Thunder team is really promising and it's not just SGA, the whole team is working their ass off just to win every game they can. Now, they defeated the former champion and that's a big achievement.

Coach Mark Daigneault on the other hand doesn't want them to get ahead of themselves. It's still early to celebrate and they will have the playoffs that they must conquer too. I think this is the right approach for his young team, make them super hungry for every win and let them know that even if they win against the former champions, that won't mean a thing if they don't win the championship.

The sad part is in eastern conference we can affirm the 6 teams who goes direct into the play offs, i dont see the Hawks cutting the gap. And the same for the Raptors against Bulls who is currently in the 10 spot.

I think there are still enough games for pretty much anything to happen.  You never know when someone might get injured or a team will get hot.  I am excited for the postseason and I guess it isn't that long from now.  I think Luka gives hope that this might be LeBron's final chance to get ring #5.  I think they show some real promise.  None of the other teams are exciting me too much.  The Timberwolves haven't played like I thought they would.  Denver seems to have gotten stale.  I'm not a fan of OKC or Houston...

Really surprising to see Celtics as the favorites to win today. But if I'm going to bet, it's obviously going to be on OKC considering they have been the better of the two teams all season.

I think this is one of those games that gamblers are psyopped gamblers to picking the favorite that will end up losing.

These 2 teams are basically a pickem.  Home team gets the advantage.  Boston home court is huge.  I actually thougjt they might be a 3.5-4 point favorite here tonight.  Its basketball so anything can happen but betting against a home team like boston on such a low spread is risky.  Good luck wither way should be a good one.  I got boston winning 117-111.  Sga getting 15 fta scoring 34 points.

Dam.  Nailed the sga 34 points on the head and had i inversed the teams would have been off a total of 1 point for each team.  Ended 118-112.  Was a great game either way.  If this ends up being the nba championship i woukd expect it to go 6 or even the full 7 games.  Love to see porzingas and jalen williams out there so we can see both teams at full strength.

NBA Central is reporting that the 76ers are looking to trade Paul George. All I can say about that buyer’s remorse is good luck. With the contract they just gave him, they’re going to have a hell of a time moving him. Especially the way he’s been playing. This is exactly what I thought would happen…

You can trust them..they’ve improved a lot this season. A number 1 team getting an early playoff exit has happened before, but not this time.

Dallas is out, so the team that eliminated them last year won’t be in their way. Maybe this time, luck is finally on their side.
Sure, the West is stacked with strong teams, but OKC is number 1 for a reason.

With the contract they just gave him, they’re going to have a hell of a time moving him. Especially the way he’s been playing. This is exactly what I thought would happen…

It's not a steal to whichever team he'll be traded with.

All Mavs fans are disappointed.

Actions taken one by one by its GM and coming from the injuries that we didn't like but it seems that it favors the players to avoid further drama. There might be some other trades coming on it once this season ends.

They'll try to build this up again but look at how they're a contender last season to almost being a nobody now.

Klay,Kyrie and Davis future in Mavs is uncertain that's why Mavs is really at huge risk on their current situation since these players is not happy on what's currently happening with their team.

And for sure this will add up to major disappointments of the fans since the management break a supposed to be contender team for trading away Luka. Right now its clear that they are not a threat for contention and they became a easy targets for teams chasing for easy win.  For sure there would be some trades going to happen since for sure they don't want to be part of another big disappointments on ongoing drama happening in Mavs.

If the disappointment of theirs have come into reality. They'll be the one asking for future trades.

And when that happens, we won't be sad if they wanna do it because that team is going to be abandoned by most of these stars that they have.

They can't stay there for long because if they become eligible for a max contract, Nico will trade them anyway.

This was always going to be the case.  Dude on the backend of his 30s who is injured every year given him 200mil for 4 years was insane.  Its literally an untradable contract unless they attached a couple of theor first round picks to it.  Based on tjem most likely being lottery bound for awhile that would cripple the sixers.  They are stuck with podcast pg

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks faced off with no LeBron in the mix. Luka had himself a great game scoring 45 and getting 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. I only watched the last quarter but from what I saw the Lakers looked pretty bad. They had some pretty awful turnovers.

Nah, there are still many things that could happen in the remaining ~15 games more or less.

The Pistons are just 4.5 games above the Hawks, and with the remaining games left, anything can still happen. We don't know, but we might see either one of them having a winning or losing streak that might affect their standings. Whatever the case is, the Pistons are for me the most surprising team this season. From being at the bottom of the league, to now going into the playoffs and that happened in just one year.

As for the Raptors/Bulls, Bulls are up 5 games, and with how awful the Raptors are playing right now, I guess that's safer to say that the Bulls will enter the play-in tournament, and we know they're more deserving than the Raptors.

It's obvious that the Spurs without their head coach and key players have no chance of even qualifying for the play-in tournament.

Yeah, that's why they don't have this season as a potential come back. It's given that they'll have it next season when everyone has finally got some rest and would be able to make a come back again. It's tough for the Spurs and many of us have been too optimistic when they've taken Wemby last year but then, we've passed the season and then thought that the current one is going to be theirs. But again, this thing has happened and looking at what seed they are currently, it's likely that there is no progress on it further so...

Since no one has said it, Congratulations to Steph Curry on being the first player to hit 4000 3-pointers in the NBA. Such a  huge feat so fitting for a player such as Steph Curry. This just cements his name as the greatest 3-point shooter.

On the flip side, super disappointed to see Sacramento kings man-mark and sometimes double mark Steph Curry. Well, they're still get beaten badly by Steph's teammates

The Kings aren’t really a good road team, and without Sabonis, they’re missing a huge presence in the paint. That’s a big disadvantage for them.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have really gotten stronger, and we can’t deny that. AFAIR, since Butler was traded, they’ve only lost twice (correct me if I’m wrong), but that just shows how much they’ve improved.

This is a huge milestone and I think that if there will be someone on the NBA will be able to defeat that, it will take a long time. We'll never know.

Wemby should be healthy next year, and with Fox, they’ll definitely improve. It’s a shame, but even with that, I still don’t see them making the playoffs. Then again, OKC was in the same boat before, struggling during their rebuild until they figured out how to win games. Now, they’re the best team in the NBA. Since the Spurs are made up of young players with great talent, there’s a strong chance they’ll find success too. So let's give this team few more seasons and maybe for Wemby to gain more muscles.
