If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

The appreciation in value of Bitcoin will be much more than that of real estate properties or bullion. So be careful when you sell your coins for fiat.

This doesnt have to be true, depends on the market.   In 1990 Tokoyo was four times the square foot cost of London and today the situation is reversed with houses in London some of the most expensive globally.    This probably relates to the strength of economic demand in each country so I do think in some places with great growth then land could be the best investment.

Also housing reduces costs, you cannot cease to exist till retirement and you must spend some money on a space to live.   So its an ideal investment to lower costs and possibly profit from higher demand.    I think Bitcoin will only seriously succeed if it also becomes a tool to reducing costs for greater numbers of people over time.   It might be the best way to deal with foreign exchange and transfer of wealth between countries, Im not sure.

Do you know why the real estate rates in Tokyo went down and those in London exploded? The economy of Japan has been in a downward slide ever since the late 1980s. On the other hand, London is one of the fastest growing metropolises in the Western world.

Now look at the future of Bitcoin. Don't you think that the adoption and usage will increase in the near future?

It will definitely increase, I don't have some source to back my statement, but being active here in the community most people here are very optimistic that the price of bitcoins will increase in the future , it's because when there is a massive adoption the price of bitcoins will be affected and by saying affected it is on a positive way.

It is nice that you can buy some a house with Bitcoin and that is because the value of the house will not reduce in value and that is really nice for the future later.
Because if you want to sell it you can even earn some profit later in the future if the value is rising.

If bitcoin increases with the current slope (although it seems impossible) then it may be possible to buy a house in next 1-2 years with one bitcoin.

Even if the prices did hit to buy a house right off the bat, I still wouldnt.

The ownership vs renting scenario is misleading - yes its nice to not pay a mortgage and have a free place to stay - but thats a huge principal thats taken away from you that money can be working for you.

Vs if I did rent somewhere remotely the same - I still can use that money to work instead.

I wouldnt ever be a homeowner unless I have some serious cash making that allows me to be in the position.

It depends how many bitcoins do you have and where do you want to but that house. In  many countries houses prices increase a lot.

For having 100 btc is very hard to get for this State and i think those who holding for that big amount of money is the ponzi scheme site owner and casino site owner and very sure they can buy already a mansion with that huge amount and like us average bitcoin user we cannot really buy a house with bitcoin and thats the reality since we dont earn big amount of bitcoins daily and fix but very sure for that ia by bitcoin we can buy simple things we want but not a house.

If by the end of the year the price of bitcoins will be at least $1,000, I would definitely buy a new house. I would design that house then with a bitcoin logo as a sign of my respect to bitcoins where I was able to get the money.

yes it is good to wait until next year if it has 100BTC, because I'm sure next year we will be above $1,000, and at least it could buy two houses for your wives and your parents

just hold it until the price rise after halving ended. but how can you think that someone will eventually buy two houses at once if they dont have enough bitcoin(fund) to buy house? buying one house is hard than you can think, and thinking that two houses at once just hard to believe.
but still, you can collect bitcoin first and then buying a house is a good choice

We can always buy a house if the price of bitcoins will get more higher but it would always depend on the our preference of the size of the house. I like a house that is not so big or like a mansion, a house that would be enough to secure my family and live a simple life.
