The 1000 MOIN bounties haven't been enough to entice any of our Chinese and Indonesian friends yet. The address for translation bounties is Mrc1krZw8DdNAryjZjjC41gff3fekZr5Vj if anyone else would like to donate. Thanks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

some things.

One question that is commonly asked is "how many moin do i need to stake?"  .  So we decided to construct a test to find the answer.  Two of our newest community members received inputs of 50, 100, 500, and 1000 moin.  Once we see some staking data a report will be written up and posted on the new community site we are just getting started on. www.moinmovement.org

In other moin news we are getting some sweet stickers designed which will be available for purchase for moin.  People will also be able to recieve moin for posting pictures of the stickers in the wild.

One of those "test" wallets staked yesterday http://explorer.discovermoin.com/address/MZy1m7qWqb9X3D62vUWHc7RkdX3ZZPqRVg  .  So that took about 40 hours total after those inputs.  I am not certain which input was the one that staked, kind of curious if it was the largest one or not.  Probably it was? I am going to get in touch with the wallet owner to see if they can tell.   Cool

Stake test update Update - Both of the test wallets have now staked successfully their inputs of 1000 moin.  They took on average about 47 hours and both minted a little over 2 moin.  Continuing to track the staking progress and will report back with more data.

I put this little update on on http://www.moinmovement.org/ as well.

Very nice job on the site and stake test Jookly, that's going to be really useful for newcomers. Can't wait for those stickers too!

I heard back from Steak Cloud support today:

Quote
We are currently reviewing MOIN and will add it to our waiting list once the review is complete. Please make sure you inform your community and get as much support as you can as this will really help your effort to be selected as a supported coin on Steak Cloud. The waiting list can take anywhere form one week to two moths but usually averages at three weeks to a month.

Community support's obviously a big factor in what coins they choose to support so if you'd like to be able to get paid in MOIN for mining please let them know, either in their bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1178345.0

... or on twitter:

Thanks for your support!

This period's MOIN Community Contributers' Superleague winners are:

1. farelka9
2. pro
3. kondiomir

farelka9's kick-ass video again:

Thanks a lot for your efforts guys (and everyone else who's been helping out)! Hop into IRC to claim your prize if you haven't already. #moin-crypto for anyone who'd like to join us for the next round!

Also all the current translation bounties have been claimed now, so we should have international threads up in the next week or so.

becouse YoBit is running Moincoin (v1, before swap) market, C-CEX has MOIN (v2, actual version after swap)
SWAP is changing Moincoin (v1) to MOIN (v2) and amount of coins x 10
(this it the reasoen why price on YoBit is 10x bigger than C-CEX)

Congratulations to the winner of Superblock #4 and the 25,000 MOIN reward! May they bring you joy!

The fifth and final Superblock is on block 105,120 - roughly 2-3 weeks from now - and will have a reward of 50,000 MOIN.

I made the www.moinmovement.org website to try and help with getting information to, and connecting with, people who notice Moin.  I do not have an official connection to the Moin project but am a community member like you.  I'm open to hearing any ideas and am happy to help where I can, come chat in #moin-crypto IRC or drop a line on the http://www.moinmovement.org/contact.html page if you feel like it.

If you are a programmer or have other special technical skills that could help the project then KingCaper is the man you want to talk to.  He is the swap organizer and has done all the real work getting Moin to where it is.  He is available on IRC quite often as well.  Cool
