Hello Moin Community I wonder if you can help me. I sent all my coins to c-cex and have been backing up all my wallets etc but the transaction is conflicted and the coins are stuck does this mean I have lost all my coins?
My internet and computer are not working well so my Husband wants to reinstall, so I have been sending all my coins to exchanges so that I don't cock up and lose them all while reinstalling, then I was going to download them all again once I reinstalled and re downloaded the wallets. I thought that would be safer. What shall I do now?
1. Do I have to wait for these coins to get unstuck? I still got the wallet open.. but because it said error loading bilkindex.dat, I resynced the wallet and deleted the roaming files except the .dat then saw the conflicted coins..How can i salvage them? Is there any possibility to get my coins back?

Status: conflicted
Date: 7/3/2016 20:25

My coins were staking nicely and I want to send them back to my wallet after we reinstall..If anyone can let me know what to do before we reinstall the computer. Any help is appreciated. I hope I haven't lost them now.

EDIT problem fixed, I will go reinstall the comp nw so tomorrow I can take home my coins again.  Cheesy

I don't know what to do with the conflicted-issue, but just for the backup of your coins-topic:

If you want to be safe, just backup your wallet.dat file. There is no need for a transaction if you have your wallet.dat-file.
Default-Location of the wallet.dat is C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Moin\wallet.dat

Another option is to manually export the private keys of your addresses so you can re import them later. you just have to keep them safe and secure.
there are a few tutorials out there for that purpose if you want to do that.

Hello Moin Community Members,

Today i'd like to propose the idea of helping in funding in a project i'd like to do for MOIN and other altcoins,
the idea is, making a 3d printed enclosure of the Moin logo that has been modified to support LED'S so you can then,
have a little desk lamp type deal with a moin logo, all i am asking from you guys is donations to help me get this project underway.

It cost a fair amount of money for all the equipment and the filaments and such, but it'd be awesome if you guys could help me out,
and make this dream a reality ! Anyone that contributes i'll announce you in credits and such once i have managed to get the project working successfully,
i'll also raffle off a few at the end of the project investments to the community !.

Thank you for your time and i hope you support me through this!.

Donation Addresses:
MOIN: MpoV6c7bWdukLyfzFhP1f6Jb8p93LMzEWs
BTC: 18CjJQ1GWjWwXKUgpNYkuttD2DTLXoA8nR

I accept other alts but please tell me what alt you'd like to donate in!

This sounds like a really cool project! I've sent a little BTC your way - I hope you're able to get enough together to make it happen!

Thank you!

Factom already does Proof of Existence. Does this coin bring anything new to the table? Not saying that in a condescending kind of way.. I like all experimental technologies in the alt industry that are honest are contribute towards a certain field.

And how many people are working on this? It's unrealistic to achieve something great with a small team. I mean it might happend but the chance decrease a lot.

There were alts that did PoE before Factom, plus there were services offering it on the Bitcoin blockchain before that. Factom raised $1.1m in their ICO. This is their wallet:

User experience and design are really importance to us. MOIN might not be the first to market with PoE, but when it's finished it won't look like software designed in 1995. And we won't need $1.1m to achieve it. We have something planned for the long-term that isn't being done by any other crypto project that I'm aware of, but we have a policy of not announcing things until we've made significant progress with them. That's why PoE wasn't revealed until we had the prototype interface hooked up to the hashing function.

As for the team, there's two of us on the development side - me full-time and our front-end developer/designer who has obligations outside of MOIN but who works on it when he can. It's an open source project and I hope as more people learn about it there will be other developers who join us, but either way I'm fully dedicated to MOIN. We'll achieve great things over time.

My wife qi got her first POS coins this morning and was delighted. Thank you for remembering us and I will also be looking at the good progress here. She will doing some tweets for you tomorrow. Now she is making toasties for dinner Smiley.

Awesome, great to have you both here.  Smiley

That really is a beautiful wallet. it  functions extremely well as well, great job!

Thanks!

Is there anything else planned for the future?

Yes, the items in the roadmap are what we're currently working on. There will be a wallet update with a few UI fixes and tweaks at some point soon. See my answer to Azael above as regards our longer-term plans.

Hello, I'm interested in this coin.
Tell me please, is there a bounty for translation into another language?

I'll send you a pm.

The switch to PoS v3 went as planned so remember to keep your wallets open and staking to collect your share of the static rewards. The competition for July's 5,000 MOIN community prize pot is heating up, #moin-crypto on IRC if you'd like to join in.

Downloaded the new wallet and I'm now ready to buy my first lot of MOIN to stake.

What is a good amount to start with? I was thinking 5,000 coins to start and what would that get me each day?

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

You should definitely be able to stake successfully with 5000. I'll run some tests over the next few days so we can give people a rough idea of how much stake rewards to expect on PoS v3.

Yes, ideally you would have upgraded prior to block 282500.  You should make sure to upgrade.

Good stuff, thanks Jookly!

So this seems like the perfect moment to share the good news that Jookly has agreed to join the team officially as MOIN's Community Manager!

He has been, and I'm sure will continue being, a great ambassador for the project and a point of contact for the community as a whole. He's an all round good guy and we're very glad to have him on board!

I'm stoked to accept this position.  I feel as though my broad goal with this is just to engage people to interact around the MOIN chain and help answer questions I can or direct people to the answers.  There are a couple things on my mind that we can work towards.  First is the Moin Movement meetings which I have mentioned before.  We just need to set aside a little time, 15 or 30 minutes, to help source talent and ideas from the community and create collaboration.  This is a place where the Moin Movement Fund can be used to incentivize action.  The second thing that is immediatly on my mind is we can work on getting YoBit to replace their current moin with the correct chain.  It is annoying that they did not swap their coins and confusing I am sure for people who are not acquainted with the MOIN story.

I gotta run to work but wanted to acknowledge my acceptance of this position.  Talk to you all soon.

Congrats on the position and I agree we need Yobit to replace their current moin coins for the current blockchain. This will also generate volume on all of the exchanges. Is there any plans on getting MOIN listed on Bittrex or Poloniex?
