I'm running vista and it gives a higher hashrate.  Grin

So you are the one still running Vista!! lol!!!

I would think that a clean/bare install of Window 8.1 and/or Window 7 would run faster than Vista.
Vista had core modifications that were abandoned, due to stability, in favor of a new approach in Windows 7.
Stable as a rock.
On cuda mining nvidia mining it does do a higher hashrate on memory type coins.
I should add that to btc 81 pro if it would take it. Grin

I had that computer hashing with 2 750ti's for 2 years now and that little thing has been good to me. Wink
Something about windows as we went from vista to 7 to 8.1 then 10... that the hashrates went down for memory type coins.
I remember doing scrypt jane and it was hashing at about 10% higher hash then my windows 8.1.
I think someone said that it was related to windows allocating memory.

shouldn't be a problem... have quite a few other miners plugging away fine...

Anyone else get issues with their nvidia cards getting stuck in P2 or even P8 power states?

Every miner app always puts the card into P2, which max performance is P0....

*Edit* all my tests on skein worked fine.

I removed it because it just wasnt being as profitable as it should have been... probably cause it was still a new algo leveling out.

Awesome, I wonder if Windows Server would be faster, it is built more for hard core processing than desktop versions?

Crackfoo  doing a test run with blakecoin algo.... pool showing 1.7 gh/s I'm mining at 11.7 gh/s. Is the readout wrong?

EDIT:To many pool problems ...I'm taking it out of my conf until pool is set better.
One is the blake algo readouts should be like other coins. Damn.

Myr-gr isn't showing on MC api..... just  .0000000

Even still, I have myr-gr removed from my round-robin of algos.   It never pays off more than when I have it off my list.

also I am sad to say that there is no x11evo support with the increased password length.   gotta wait for it to hit the main release I guess =/

So what is going on here  First it seems like there is an issue with Smart (x11)  it has been 4 days and there is no updated blocks.  Second why is the Value of Verge Less than the Bitcoin Value total pending?

@crackfoo - Has the starting stratum diff for decred and blakecoin been set to at least  1 yet? Both sgminer and ccminer do not seem to send hashes below that (although cpuminer will send blakecoin shares less than that). Waste of time having my miners configured to use it, as the diff doesn't go up quick enough. Also d=diff doesn't work with decred=coef in it.
Also groestl diff seems a bit low, causes a flood everytime I switch to it. Might be better set to around 1.

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.
