JaredKaragen,
I noticed you have the YoBit signature but you dont have the YoBit personal message. Are you still getting paid on that?
Personal message? Yes, I still get paid for my signature..... IDK what else you are referring to.

Poor quality and unconstructive posts will no longer be tolerated on this campaign. You don't need to write an essay with each post but one word replies in spammy off topic threads or streams of constant half-assed one liners will immediately get you removed. Please just put some effort in to your posts and you'll be fine.
Users with negative feedback from defaulttrust members are no longer permitted on the campaign. If you sign up you will be removed.
Any user who hasn't made a post in over a month will also be removed.
Please report any spammers or users with negative feedback directly to me. Thanks. Where is the issue? I think you are sorely mistaken on what you are thinking.... which I still do not understand your issue/concern.... Please; this is not a topic for this thread anyways.......

How can I get paid out in VRC instead of BTC? It's not really clear on the website as it says a BTC address is mandatory but also mentions that you can be paid out in POS coins, one of which is VRC.
Thanks
Yes, you can get paid in VRC, just set your currency as c=VRC in your password field. Thanks, I did see that on the website but wasn't sure if I then need to specify a VRC address instead of a BTC address, even though it says that wallet address must be a valid BTC address...

Yes, that does add a touch of confusion..... The address should be in the coin you are specifying payout in

Yes, that does add a touch of confusion..... The address should be in the coin you are specifying payout in Well, it makes more sense maybe if you read the whole line? <WALLET_ADDRESS> must be a valid BTC address. Incorrect addresses will result in forfit of earning. BTC is the supported payout currency. Anything else is used at you own risk due to the fact that it is completely relied upon that coin being mined, aside from the listed PoS coins of course.

JaredKaragen I noticed on github you where updating the pool and getting things related to the pool and seeing cards at there pstate. Question is ... is there a way to get the high end nvidia cards like the 980ti 970 gtx to " permanently " stay in the p0 state no matter what...like a crash or reboot or just idling? Thx Ps I know how to set the cards to the p0 state so I can overclock the memory ... but to keep them there. I don't understand why nvidia did this..the 750ti stays there.

Thx Ps I know how to set the cards to the p0 state so I can overclock the memory ... but to keep them there. I don't understand why nvidia did this..the 750ti stays there. The best I can do is get it to sit in the P2 state.... I use NvidiaInspector.exe (common available tool via a google search) to view the P states, and I use NVPManagerUni-1.01 for changing the power state profile. I think the custom BIOS in my ASUS card may not allow P0 state in anything but "desktop rendering" mode... because that's the ONLY place I can get it to be in P0. The second I launch any app that uses the CUDA library, it automatically drops into P2; no matter what choices I try to apply in the NV-profile-manager. Sometimes my card will wig out (usually after a driver crash recovery, or viewing a flash video) and only want to sit in P5 or P8; whcih cuts my hashrate into 1/3 or less than normal. If you find a solution I am all ears... I still havent tried linux; because I depend on special software (unrelated) that's windows native compatible only; so I need it to remain a windows box.

Thx Here is something I copied and pasted from a thread for windows desktop. I use this but with my one rig that doesn't have enough psu keeps crashing ..I have to keep the cards as is p2 state mining and p8 state at idle. Never able to oc the mem until I sli 2 psu's...It just came in the mail will try out tomorrow.
>quite a lot actually, because it is possible to oc the mem clock beyond nominal value, I use this command nvidia-smi.exe -i 0,1 -ac 3506,1506 (where i is the card number and ac the highest clock possible) this force the card to run in state 0
This has been posted here before:
1) open cmd.exe with the admin privileges 2) cd C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI 3) nvidia-smi -q -d SUPPORTED_CLOCKS -i 0 4) nvidia-smi -ac 350X,14XX -i 0 (where 350X is that very first number printed after supported clocks-memory and 14XX one of those numbers printed after graphics
nvidia-smi -ac 3505,1455 -i 0 nvidia-smi -ac 3505,1455 -i 2
nvidia-smi -ac 350X,14XX -i 0,1,2,3,4... for multiple cards.
nvidia-smi -ac 3505,1455 -i 0,2<

I remember trying using the commands to force P state... and each time i tried it my PC crashed just as if I has tried to overclock the mem or gpu too much....
If I get the urge, ill give it another shot....
But honestly, even in P2, my hashrates as seen on my normalization aren't that bad.... I would have to uncork the intensity settings I have set.

Yes that's right you just jarred my memory :-) ... really I have to give it a try again ...but like you said... the intensity settings may have to be changed...I think.

FYI intensity wont modify p state... in case you are thinking that... but I have intensity backed off so my machine will still play videos/games while mining.

Yes I know... but the ccminer app for an algo sometimes needs an -i setting so it won't crash.

all addys are stored in your browser's zpool.ca cookie "Wallets". remove that cookie (with all addys) or edit its contents if possible Ok thx ax.

Noob question here. What's the correct way to calculate the factors to normalise profitability?? Not very sure if it's simply a hashing power relation with scrypt.
Thanks

Please read this thread, and check the main page on the site for this link: http://zpool.ca/site/multialgoPEople have generally been doing it based on the hashrate of the algo. so if in MH, do a whole number of the megahash output. also check the batch file link in my sig to see mine. I dont relate mine to scrypt... I just use actual real world ratios.

HASH RATE-- You need to know the hash rate your card(s) will get with your particular software. Then, for each algo in the looping batch, you place that hash rate. That is the easiest way. You can also "normalize" your hash rate constants so that one algo is set to a value of "1". Scrypt used to be set to 1, but most GPU miners no longer mine scrypt. X11 may be more appropriate. In this case, set X11=1, then divide each other algo's hash rate by the hash rate that your cards get for x11. The results may then be used as proportional constants. Quark will have a constant bigger than 1, Neoscrypt will have a constant less than 1. High School math. --scryptr
