Only a few Alternatice Coins influence Bitcoin and its price, such as LiteCoin, DogeCoin, and maybe a few others. Other coins like Ethereum, PeerCoin and such are just copies trying to get money of the Bitcoin idea. Bitcoin would probably be the same without them, maybe a little weaker, but there would not be a very big difference than the current state.
Altcoins has different advantages it's depends on their technical behavior. ETH is way has faster confirming transaction than bitcoin. You can't just say they are dependent in bitcoin because I think they can stand alone. Well ,i agree because ethereum is next to bitcoins as not expected when ethereum is at low price now it is even higher and companies are using that coin.more years to come maybe it the second and the most common coin other than bitcoins. The IBM and Microsoft offer services based on the Ethereum. So the Ethereum could be good for business. |

Altcoins are termed for this coins because they are the alternative coins for bitcoins. If in case bitcoin will go wrong this altcoins will be the one thats going to be used as an online currency. There should be no conflict between bitcoins and altcoins since altcoins complement and support bitcoins. Altcoins existence in someway has contributed to make bitcoin trading more interesting.
But in my opinion if bitcoin lost then altcoin also missing, because I think altcoin can not stand alone without bitcoin. Yeah you right, altcoin trading is very profitable even with small capital. Unlike the bitcoin trading that require huge capital to make profits noticeably. |

that nots true I think the existance of the altcoins are just making the compitition more hard to exist. but if there is only one vertual coin exists then it can be more popular and more stable because most people will switch to bitcoin and it will get more developers. and faint are making btc value

However thanks for the belief with bitcoins and its potential Because bitcoin can normally exist without altcoins and would be fine since it's the original, it already existed without altcoins before litecoin was made, I don't think altcoins can exist without bitcoin. Hopefully You can switch with bitcoin itself to grow your money and for future investment. it is true, without bitcoin, altcoin will never be famous. but I also feel that altcoin plays an important role for bitcoin prices. I feel that 30% of the price of bitcoin was coming from altcoin, because so many people are buying altcoin using bitcoin to make trading tool, and make a profit. |

Altcoins don't do much when it comes to the value of Bitcoin, mostly because of the fact that all other altcoins are more pegged to Bitcoin's value and exist only because Bitcoin exists. Having Bitcoin being a trading tool merely means that Bitcoin is used as a source of definitive (or relatively definitive) value, and is a better tool to use when compared to most other forms of crypto. |

Honestly that altcoin made only for trading purposes.. so those are useless but i really dont know why they are still buy those altcoin but if you think well altcoin is useless there is no importance about altcoin they are use for trading.. buying low selling high.. same as we are doing in bitcoin to usd.. And yea almost 30% of investors are in altcoin instead of bitcoin.. |

Altcoins are just a bitcoin alternatives but There are a few coins that can affect bitcoins in some way but it is nothing important. Almost all altcoins are just dead after some time that's why be careful in investing.
Eth have been there for a long time and its price decreased but not at the exaggerated decrease. Fluctuations are there but with supports it will stay and iff the owner is really into it. Doge, lite and more are still staying although some are dead doesnt mean all will. I guess you just have to pick the right one. |

Those alt coin has a great contribution to increase the value of bitcoin because only bitcoin is accepted crypto currency in online shopping even in exchanging into fiat that is why if there is not alt coin i think bitcoin price is not going to high like what price now.
