For me and i don't if everyone is like my opinion i think that if there is no other coins then the exchanges will have less profit and the bitcoin price will also decrease and many coins has a purpose altcoins are depend on bitcoin but not the other way trading is very important part of bitcoin it gives more coins volume and i always agree that bitcoins need an alt coin

if there were no other cryptocurrency than bitcoin, then there were no other exchanges (altcoin exchanges) to make any profit (not less profit) because bitcoin/fiat exchanges usually don't have altcoins. and their altcoins volume is just a side profit for them not the main big thing. |

Yeah also if there's no altcoin i think bitcoin is always in the top and the price of bitcoin will high than the price today. exchangers are useless if theres no altcoin.. many reason why altcoin is there and i think they are want to beat bitcoin to replace it.. |

For me, if theres no altcoin less profit. Because all of here are earning in altcoin than in bitcoin trading so for me if without altcoin many didnt earn more daily. They need more time.to earn the need to wait the bitcoin will pump or dump thats the only way they earn.

Bitcoin without Altcoin ? in my opinion Altcoin is the main reason why Bitcoins became popular for a past couple of time, because through them they clone and promote Bitcoin due to the system it has.  |

Bitcoins aren't alt-dependent anyways. Bitcoin was the superior cryptocoin so it would still prosper without them and besides, bitcoin was the first successful one. There wouldn't be much of a problem for bitcoiners if altcoin disappeared but that's highly unlikely to happen since there are so much alts now and probably even more so in the coming years. |

i think yes bitcon need no altcoin. i think bitcoin can survive separately. it need no altocin or any other digital currency i think.
yeah of course bitcoin will still be alive even though no bitcoin. but I think bitcoin need altcoin. because it indirectly. altcoin also brought to the top of the popularity of bitcoin. altcoin users definitely bitcoin users as well. and not vice versa. bitcoin would be great if there altcoin |

They do have a positive impact on BitCoin, making more people interested in BitCoin because of AltCoins.
Still, BitCoin is the gold
yeah indirectly when altcoin sale. then they will also be promoting bitcoin. because bitcoin is the mother of all altcoin yeah can say that. because if you want to convert it to a fiat. then you must first convert altcoin first it to bitcoin |

I think it's hard, I mean, imagine this, how can bitcoin trade industry will work if there is no altcoins that can trade into or with bitcoins right? Just think that thing, no trading, bitcoin only. It's hard. Yeah it will be hard to many users especially altcoin traders to earn big profit a month because i think that trading altcoins is one of the best way to get big profits. So if they remove that "altcoins" it will cause for a low progress for bitcoin because some of the users (i think) will not continue to use bitcoin because it will be harder to them to choose method that are equal for their profits in trading. Will be difficult to traders gain profit in bitcoin because bitcoin price statistics it's different with alt coin and needs big amount to trading using bitcoin. I believe if you trading bitcoin with low funds you only gather a little profit. |

as far as i concern, with Altcoin Bitcoin became popular in a matter of short time during the altcoin rises up.
because its like a masses that has been promoting Bitcoins in any places in the world. and without it bitcoin will still stand firm.

Just to answer you, it would have been better if there was no altcoins in the market.
Now we have around 650 off altcoins in the market who are eating up bitcoin investments. If there was no altcoins in the market, then bitcoin would have reached $2000 USD by now. Each person investing in altcoins, could have invested in bitcoin increasing its market cap.

I think it will affect price of bitcoin that much because there's no circulation around and even trading is not so profitable so if that's the case there's no buy nor sell in other coins which will more likely the coins is so stabilize on it's price that it wont soar high on it's price. |

Bitcoin was created before any of the altcoins that we know today. so any altcoin exists because of bitcoin and copying that idea. but also they are an alternative way of investment which only affect bitcoin amount that we all have. |

People do trade of bitcoin with altcoin not because it is the only way to trade, but they trade bitcoin with altcoin because they want to earn faster when sometimes the price of altcoins rise faster, so without altcoin we can trade normally with other available currencies(fiat). |

Bitcoin was created before any of the altcoins that we know today. so any altcoin exists because of bitcoin and copying that idea. but also they are an alternative way of investment which only affect bitcoin amount that we all have. Well alt coins are an essential part of the Crypto-Currency ecosystem. BTC is not mature enough to be used for a true investment vehicle unless you like having to hold for years. It doesn't serve well as a currency either given its volatile price movements. In terms of speculation, alts are great. |

I think it will be bad if their is no altcoins because it will affect to our daily profit because by trading altcoins in altcoin public exchanges can help us to earn big amount of bitcoins weekly depending on the trend of altcoin that we choose. Yes, that will create more transactions while trading as more buying and selling there is more chances of getting to higher price of bitcoin so we can get more profits. without altcoins it is definite that bitcoin will not gain more popularity ! I think if there will be no any altcoin then bitcoin trade will not harm us and we will earn more money with bitcoin, because at that time everyone will focus on bitcoin and they will use bitcoin for their uses so the price of bitcoin will increase more faster. |
