AFAIK most problems emerge in the weekends when they're understaffed and packed with orders which went wrong.

Hello BitInstant Support,

I made two cash deposit transactions through Moneygram back to back with differing amounts and the emails I received contained no redeemable MtGox codes in either email.

The first order ID is "OrderID: 0e60cd29-3b15-4e45-9d83-b7bbac857f29" and the second is "OrderID: 90ffd544-5e39-44e0-abdc-869ac5eaa4b2".

I had a good experience last time. Can you guys please check in to what happened with it this time? I got an e-mail from ZipZap about a successful transfer but not a single e-mail from bitinstant.com about anything at all and nothing from coinapult.

I don't even have an order Id just quote Id and event Id. Here is the quote Id.

It says you can't use an Event Id in the URL but if I use a Quote ID it shows it the info associated with the order.

* I have the receipt with reference # and everything.

* When using the QuoteId, it shows Order Execution Failed

Anyway, I never got any e-mails and not sure what to do at this point. I remember gettling a link to coinapult the last time. Please let me know ASAP, thanks.

Hello Bitinstant,

Today I placed an order. It was for $503.95. I have never had problems with this service before and always come home to have my coins instantly in my wallet. I get them directly deposited into my wallet. I received confirmation from Zipzap and even contacted them wondering why I hadn't received my coins. There should be no problem they said. Please send me my coins.

Not sure if it just got registered as a duplicate or something or if there is some mistake... I just no there is no chance in hell that I am out $503.95.

UPDATE: I just now got my two bitinstant.com e-mails after previously only receiving an e-mail from ZipZap about a successful order. It's 10:30 Sunday night and they still fixed it apparently. I don't personally know many companies that have support running at this time. I do some IT work (in addition to programming) and my company definitely doesn't have any sort of support available after normal business hours and none on weekends.

I see a lot of people freaking out and getting very demanding over an apparent problem in the system (with the source of the problem being unknown) and others already demanding a refund immediately after having a problem; ridiculous.

It's understandable to be upset but these people aren't scammers. Your money is not lost. They will fix it.

Anyway, thanks bitinstant!

I know I sent my last message on Friday and I likely won't hear anything until Monday on the fee / exchange rate refunds, but based on the recent feedback I'll be looking for another source for BTC in the future.  Getting your coins "instantly" isn't worth the hassle that the company has been having lately.  I've pretty much written off my $30 loss due to exchange rate.

I received my refund on the price fluctuation!  Problem solved successfully!

5ed7f0ac-2a8f-4bf5-8381-69fb0e929dc7  This order was made 1/30.  It was processed and received to day Feb 1.  Took over two days.  I made a deposit for $100.00 (after paying zipzap fees) I received something around $95ish, on top of getting coins at Feb 1 Prices.  

 ad6ee1e4-dd86-476d-ad0b-31c3eb72aaa8 This order was made Feb 1.  It was processed marked as "complete" and under events and in email was told funds were sent wallet.  Once talking to live chat I was told it got stuck in a "double filter" and would have be manually processed one business day later.  So now I will get the coin who knows when, at who knows what price again.

Both times were never even remotely my fault.  I sent in an email to at least get some fees back but Have not heard anything back.
 
These were my first two transactions with bitinstant very frustrating to say the least!! Angry

I, like the person above me, am curious how BitInstant is going to handle the extreme delay from order placement to order execution.  I saw that Yankee indicated that fees would be refunded but I have heard nothing else on the matter.  By my calculations, I lost ~1.43 Bitcoins as a result of the delay and would like to hear a reason why I should consider BitInstant the next time I would like to do a currency exchange.

Having said all that, I am very impressed at the customer service provided by BitInstant via this forum.

About 5 hours ago I made a cash deposit using Bitinstant through ZipZap.  The address associated with my OKPay wallet was supposed to be the destination for those funds.  Alarmingly enough though, I've yet to receive anything even though my order appears to have already obtained the 6 confirmations required (according to Blockchain) prior to the funds being available.  In fact, I believe the funds are indeed allocated to the address used in my transaction order, but since OKPay is an e-wallet, I don't have the first clue as to where I could find the Private Key associated with that address and therefore my hands are tied.  I am unsure if this whole cluster-f*$ck is due to an issue with OKPay, Bitinstant, or worse yet, that something screwy is going on and my funds have been hijacked somehow.  I'm unsure the latter is even really possible, but when I can't access the cash I get wary.  

Can someone help me understand what's going on?  To me, it seems more likely to be an issue with OKPay, but I don't really know.  If need be, my Bitinstant info used to make the deposit in question is:

All these problems is making me want to turn to another method of cash >>> bitcoin.

The order is marked as "order successful" but the blockchain doesn't show up as sent. Now bitcoin prices are going down and im losing a bunch of money.

Thanks Charlie.  One of your CS Reps stated emphatically that they would not be able to help me with this matter.  The coins were sent and there you go... Maybe you have some knowledge on this... Thanks in advance.

I am having a similar problem, including an anxiety attack.

My Bitcoins have been sent, but not recieved.  My Bitcoin desktop wallet/client is not only OUT OF SYNC but displaying a message that says WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade! In the lower right hand corner the symbol indicates & is stuck on like 97% and has not budged or downloaded a single block for hours & hours

Is there a support department for the Bitcoin Desktop Wallet or can someone please assist. Please be clear and I will be very grateful.
