Another incomplete transaction - 20 hours and counting: OrderID: 71718b1f-690d-41b0-8bd1-f1ed601ff3dd
Emailed bitinstant support yesterday, no reply. Live Chat!? Not really live. Support Telephone Number? Recording. Likelyhood that i've been ripped off? Pretty high.
I'm gonna post enough to get out of newbie jail JUST so I can post about this in the Scammers forum. The word needs to get out.
UPDATE:
I just received a reply to my support email. I had entered my MtGox acct number in the bitinstant form as M########X (exactly what is listed on the MtGox Account Settings page). Bitinstant apparently requires just the numbers, not the letters. That fact is not explained anywhere. On top of that, my transfer confirmation email from bitinstant wrongfully claimed the funds were successfully transferred.
It seems bitinstant is not intentionally ripping people off, they just have a faulty process.

Hello,
I paid via ZipZap/Moneygram and received an email confirming direct deposit into my Mt.Gox account, but the funds have not shown up.
OrderID: 3cbcd556-94da-4c75-b5dd-8e417be5fa54 EventID: fcacf2a7-32c0-4be8-907a-3d48b17a9678 DestAccount: M86288757X QuoteID: c5db67a2-a3e6-4880-bf78-6c38963dc75c
This is a time sensitive matter, and any assistance you can provide would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Your order processed, you gave us an incorrect MtGox account, so we emailed you a mtgox code Thanks for the quick response. I am sorry about the account number issue. My apologies. However, I never received an email with a code. The one email I did receive looked like this: Hey there,
This is to notify you that your order has been updated, please find the details below:
We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order

We used it at CVS .. Kind of confusing .. Start at bitinstant's site then over to zipzap. Print out head over to cvs they are clueless. Finally fill out a money gram. Out of 500.00 in cash .. like 480 went in after fees. It was a quick transfer to MTgox though..like 10 minutes.

I don't know why you guys are having so many issues. I just made my 3rd successful deposit in to my Mt.Gox account this week. Each time the money hit my Mt.Gox account within 1 minute of the MoneyGram going thru. I don't know about the other options but I can assure you the MoneyGram -> Mt.Gox is working just fine. I will say that when I fill out my form with Bitinstant that I use my Mt.Gox account name and not my account number and I have never had an issue. The only time I have ever had an issue with Bitinstant was going MoneyGram -> Btc.e.com and that was due to low reserves. Never had an issue MoneyGram -> Mt.Gox.
Is this true? Why does it specifically ask for Account #? Anyone from Support have time to respond?

I used my "account no." (ex: M1234567) because that's verbatim what is written on the BitInstant site. What they're really looking for is the EXCHANGE ACCOUNT, which is a 6-digit number or your MtGox username. I guess this is the reason why I still don't have my money, and it frustrates me.
FYI if you don't mind spending a bit more you can buy bitcoins on ebay. There are a few reputable sellers that will have coins to your btc address within 1 hour.

It seems crazy, that if true, this isn't made clear on the site! I've previously used the account number displayed on the Mt. Gox homepage more times than I care to count, so if now something has changed it amazes me they (BitInstant) have not provided clarification. I guess for now I'll continue to use my MP to BTC guy for 5% ...

BIG thanks to Seth for setting things straight. Indeed the issue was using my Account No./Merchant ID. Will be using my username from this point forward.
All in all the process took a few hours and a couple posts/messages, but now it's resolved.
Very grateful!

Hi, how do I fund my btc-e account with bitinstant? It shows the option in btc-e but it doesn't show up in bitinstant unless I'm looking over something.

Like I said before MoneyGram -> Mt.Gox is virtually instant. The one thing I will STRESS is don't use your Mt.Gox Account # like the form says. Elsewhere on the site it says that when filling this form you can use EITHER your Mt.Gox Account # or your account name. I have used my account name several times as recently as yesterday and never had an issue. I do know if you use your Mt.Gox account number it is not exactly the number shown on Mt.Gox you have to modify the number slightly for it to work. The safest thing is to just use your account name (remember the proper case sensitivity). If you do that your order will go thru. I am not sure where I read this, it might have been somewhere here in the support thread many pages back where it was suggested to use your account name instead.

I sent $100 USD to my bitcoin wallet. I have not received the funds yet, and it has been over 24 hours. Two support emails have yet to be responded to. I used BitInstant for their "fast service" and it was been well past "fast." I need the funds as I will be going on holiday next week. Any help would be great.
My orderID is as follows: ccc216f8-4f72-407a-9974-766a1125f1d2
The last transaction notification it is saying is: Wed Mar 27 16:05:51 2013 fa27e556-03f7-4d0b-9a10-329a89438ce5 MTGox Connection Error
Will I be compensated for any lost bitcoins due to raising prices?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it should be virtually instant. Put your Mt.Gox account NAME in the form where it says Mt. Gox Account #. Just did one yesterday and it hit Gox in under 60 seconds.
