Hi,
I made a deposit through moneygram on march 20th for $303.95 and have still not received it in my mtgox account. I waited because it seemed that many other people were having issues and that the issue would just work itself out. I e-mailed support and didnt receive a reply. Here are the transaction details: Merchant order ID 9ed5d726-2b1d-433d-88db-35aa8e016132 Customer account ID 373 715 168 Payment code 56127884 Status Paid Amount 300.00 USD Final full order amount 303.95 USD

I believe it is the holiday that has them off. They will be hard at work tomorrow morning for sure. Expect prompt responses in the morning from our friendly staff over at BitInstant.

don't see mt.gox as an option on bitinstant anymore. I'm guessing they pulled it temporarily to catch up with orders and such.
If BitInstant can't scale up as Bitcoin becomes a world class currency, then they deserve to fail. Me personally? I am finally doing what I should have done - I am verifying my MtGox account. Then I can fund directly from Dwolla and won't have to pay 20 per $1000. This is horse-shit. But you are still going to use Bitinstant, right? Also when you dump funds into Dwolla they hold them for 7 days. You can't do anything. That really depends. It would be hard to say at this point because I did my 'instant' transfer on Thursday - got answers late Friday. I was very upset, having lost the opportunity to buy back in at $77.00 (had it been instant), knowing that I HAD timed things right and now, it's nearly 4 days later, and we are nearing $100.00 again on Gox - I got several emails explaining things but no resolution. Last I heard it was queued and would process, Friday night, blaming the MtGox API and DDOS attack. But, MtGox is fast now, and volume is only 21k (rare to see it that low). If Bitinstant were my business, I certainly would not take the weekend off - nor would I leave this many people hanging for so long. Not worried about Dwolla. I can deal with a system where I know they are going to hold my money for 7 days - I just maintain $5-7k there so I don't have to wait to make transfers. (the bank pays no interest anyway.) Well, we will see what happens when Yankee resurfaces tomorrow. If he handles things, I will try one more - within unspoken limits and see if it goes through.

I'm trying to start GPU mining, and I've tried every mining software possible. Either A) the website was down, or B) I couldn't figure out how to properly use them- all except guiminer.
Except it won't launch. App crashes on startup, every version of it.

Well go figure, I didn't read the title much and this last page didn't show too much about it. My bad.

Well, we will see what happens when Yankee resurfaces tomorrow. If he handles things, I will try one more - within unspoken limits and see if it goes through. You do realize that the only reason that the price went down to $77.00 was because Mt.Gox was under a DDOS attack. No one got coin at that price because the orders could no go through. You were not going to get that price anyway. Second thing was you violated the terms of service for using Bitinstant by trying to slip $3000 dollars into the system. I think Charlie is being gracious by even considering letting the transaction thru considering the legal ramifications for him. You do realize he doesn't have to do anything, could probably tie you money up for a significant amount of time while investigating before refunding it to you. Just be nice and respectful and Charlie will push your transaction thru as soon as it's legally possible for him to do it. There has been zero evidence of them trying to scam anyone yet people come in here and say it all the time. Most of the time it is because of their own error or an API error that is outside of their control. Give them some time and they will get it fixed for ya. Oh yeah just like most businesses they don't work weekends.

Wow. Bitinstant took my money Thursday afternoon. Charlie and Seth have told me in three different responses that the problem is on MtGox's end and should be fixed "very soon". Meanwhile BTC is trading about $13 higher than when I put in my "instant order". My patience is wearing thin. I may make it my personal mission to warn as many people as possible away from "bitinstant" if they don't make things right with me. I didn't use Bitinstant to have them take my money and then absolve themselves of all responsibility because Gox got DDOS'd. Part of their service is facilitating that transfer, and for me, they haven't delivered. [RESOLVED] 4/2/1:30AM - It took four days and several attempts with support, but I received my BTC. Unfortunately at a rate about $20 more expensive than the day ordered.

Ok, bitinstant is rapidly going downhill now.
Just made an order for about $100 of BTC, order is verified and everything, paid 2 hours ago, and nothing. No BTC in my wallet. Yep something is going on behind the scenes here. And I just lost money again =_=

I just did a cash transfer at my local wal mart. I accidentally used my Mt. Gox Merchant ID instead of my account ID. The funds have not shown up; what can I do to fix this?

So I placed a order to have money sent to mt gox... moneygram>Zipzap>Bitinstant>Mtgox... and when I check my order status on bitinstant it says "MTGox Connection Error"... and I need my money in my BTC wallet within 2 and a half hours or its gonna cost me a lot of money, which I very much doubt is gonna happen from everything I've read online, but if someone could get back to me about it that would be great.

I had a failure with a MtGox Coupon -> VouchX order:
Order ID 426a73cc-e094-4e38-aafa-06b001a33dcf Quote ID 8afe9f51-d786-4860-bb5f-129c1225f645 Event ID 0f810900-bbc4-41e2-818e-35284dc90232
The top of the page says: "Your order status Order completed"
But the last event in the log section says: Mon Apr 1 14:36:13 2013 0124e66b-5bdc-48d8-b26c-12141c155cfe Gox coupon deposited at BitInstant account Mon Apr 1 14:36:14 2013 4b2e3ab3-a73b-44b6-9fa0-3fb52eca5ff3 Order executed - funds deposited at remote exchange Mon Apr 1 14:36:14 2013 1ed4471d-1904-4a72-bf0f-b66f2c738922 Serious error occurred
I went back to Gox and tried to re-deposit my code, but it says it's already been used.
PM'ed Yankee, emailed support, tried the live agent contact us button. It's been 2.5 hours as of this writing and I haven't had a response.

I got an email reply from Rachel: I apologize for the delay. We have a low balance on the exchange that has caused orders to get ‘stuck’ in our system. Rest assured, your funds are safe. As soon as we have the appropriate balance, I will manually transfer your order. Thanks for your patience! I guess this means they were out of funds on VouchX?

I had exactly the same problem with order ID b4b9d586-63d6-42af-aee1-4cf342853041, and eventually Yankee helped me out after over a week. You gotta ask their support, go to their help desk and submit a ticket, waiting for their reply, hopefully Yankee himself will reply you. It takes time but they'll figure things out, at least for my case. I have another order 471aeba3-8b09-4437-8bf4-17558d836147, hanging there for almost a week, and no any reply yet. I'll wait and see how they gonna handle it and have you guys posted. Anyone wants to use this system gonna be really careful, and be prepared to have your money hanging for a long time, if not disappear at all. I had a failure with a MtGox Coupon -> VouchX order:

These people are thieves plain and simple. Feel free to go back and search my issue so you don't get burned. Yeah don't use Bitinstant. They purposely move your deposit to one of their accounts and pretend to try to help you, all the while blaming YOU for the "error" you made. It is in fact their way of scamming people. They do it at random so it looks like an accident and then blame the customer. Google around and you will find a few people who are having this issue. Bitinstant support is naturally horrible since they NEVER plan on giving you money once they do this. They also aggravate you to the point where they claim you were just uncooperative so they can end their "service". Gareth and Yankee did NOTHING but banter back and forth about how everything was MY fault and they were doing everything they could (which was nothing). And blamed me for being upset about it after a month. Bitinstant and their people are thieves plain and simple. The only reason people keep using them is that they convince people it was all a misunderstanding or they convince a user it was THEIR fault and not the fault of the system they are using. And btw there is NO WAY to tell from the quote slip that the deposit is actually going to where a user implied...You won't know the TRUE location until all is said and done. The quote information DOES NOT verify the deposit is going to the correct location and then once it's sent viola....it's in the wrong account and they can't help you! Big surprise!! So when s#%$ hits the fan they just pretend it was you and not their system. Already reported to BBB for selective fraud and have been on the phone with their AG. Mine is NOT the first complain against them. Going to be hard unless we set up a class action suit against them but we've been in contact with a few who have been scammed and we're working on a solution. If you've been scammed I urge you to report it to BBB and contact the AG in NY,NY.
My only hope is that more people don't get burned.
