Waiting for my funds to be deposited as well. It's been well over 24 hours.

You get merit points when someone likes your post enough to give you some. And for every 2 merit points you receive, you can send 1 merit point to someone else!

I could be wrong but I highly doubt their volume is high enough to warrant this extremely slow service. Something like this should never take 4-5 days. Ever.

...some of you open multiple tickets, send multiple PMs, emails, forums posts, etc.  I understand that you want your issue resolved but this makes things even harder for us to organize and in turn resolve your issues.  Which is easier to deal with?  A polite line of people or an angry mob?  I understand if some of you are upset but hopefully you can understand my point as well.  Smiley

I do understand your point. But as a customer, I don't know which line to stand in. A support ticket I opened hasn't seen any activity for two days. I've sent emails with no responses. Someone with Bitinstant on Reddit suggested that I post to this forum. So, I'm now trying everything to get a response. If there was a well-defined line with visible progress, I would gladly wait in it. I PM'ed URSAY, so hopefully I'm now in that line.

That code next to APIResponse was your redeemable Mt. Gox code. Unfortunately it looks like someone already redeemed it after you posted it on the forums :/

I wrote to Yankee late last night and asked him to look into this, because I did not receive the funds. And I was especially concerned with the API response of "Insufficient Funds". To his credit, he did write me back last night, and said he would be working on it "now".   But that is the last I heard from him or from BitInstant, and I still have not received the funds. I also tried the live chat, and they were not available at that time of night, and I also wrote to support@BitInstant.com, but received no reply from them. I have been trying live chat since 9AM this morning, but the send button does not seem to be sending anything.

I did not want to complain on this thread, but this is very bad business on their part, and it is obviously very worrisome to me as a customer.

Would someone please look into this and get back to me? Thank you.

i really DONT think these guys are scam, since they have helped me with over $3000 in transfers in the last 3 weeks and helped out two of my other friends. I will vouch for them

Hello,

I made a transfer to MTGox on 3/29, and it has still not shown up in my account. The BitInstant email I received read:
"We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order"

After about a week, through MTGox support and this thread, I finally figured out that the APIResponse was a coupon code that might have been redeemed within 24 hours, if I'd have known that. I didn't share the code with anyone besides BitInstant within the 24 hour time range (sent it to MTGox after a couple days, because I didn't know what it was and was trying to get help.)

Please help!

Guys, I am just coming in to post good news and vouch for bitinstant and charlie in particular.

Earlier this week I started a thread in the Newbies section and also posted in this thread.  Relevant details

1. Did a cash transfer from Blockchain.info wallet on April 3, Tuesday around 820am. Got zipzap confirmation email 20 minutes later.
2. Waited and waited, emailed Blockchain and bitinstant support, posted here but heard nothing for 3 full days.
3. Yesterday afternoon my btc finally did arrive, however they did deduct their fee and I believe the exchange rate was off.
4. Emailed charlie from bitinstant and he replied quickly and explained he would make things right, aka refund my fees and give me the accurate exchange rate. I just emailed him the details and hopefully he follows through quickly with the refund of my fees since it took 3+ days instead of 30-60 min.

I went from annoyed to angry to disappointed but then finally I got paid! Keep patient they will make things right eventually!

Hopefully they hire some more support and start answering the phone and replying to emails and live chat requests though!

I Ordered on Wednesday and have sent several emails without any response.
I have not received any funds in my MTGox Account. I've lost out on a 30-40% jump in prices so far.

Here is the information I received from BitInstant:

Hi URSAY,

I get the following error: This code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used)
If I type in random letters the error is the same.
Unlike a lot of people posting I did originally enter the correct account number, it just took me 2 days to figure out how to add the code.
I haven't shared the code with anyone except BitInstant.

So all I need is a new code emailed or PMed because I didn't use it within the 24 hour time period.

Quick question, I paid for my btc on the 2nd of April when prices were a good bit lower than they are now, am I going to receive the amount of bitcoins based on the price when I paid?
