Can someone from Bitinstant be honest and answer this:

How many open issues do you have right now ?

Can you provide an estimate of how long will it take to attend a given issue ? This should be something similar to the famous MtGox long-verification-queue. Note that it is called /queue/ for a reason. It doesn't matter if an issue is "harder" than other, please follow the damn queue.

Start reporting now.  If it didn't go through by now then you have a problem.

Did you see if it is in the blockchain at blockchain.info?

yes I checked that.  there is no sign of it.

so I made a bitinstant to bitcoin address moneygram a bit over 3 hrs ago.  I recieved confirmation from zipzap that their end has completed.  have heard nothing from bitinstant.  how long should this take?  how long should I wait until being concerned?

A long time.......   Read the past posts.

just meant how long should i wait until notifying bitinstant and requesting help.

I would say 6 hours is more then enough time to wait before opening a ticket.

There are multiple queues for multiple order types and we have multiple CS reps who work on different types of issues.  Orders can fall out of any queue for multiple reasons.  We've hired new people to work thru the back log but the volume keeps coming in as well.  There are no ETAs currently but we hope to provide realistic ETAs in the near future.  We are in the process of improving our customer support software and processes which should help with the volume and back log a great deal.  I hope that answers some of your questions.  Smiley

What would this do to the bitcoin exchange BTC and wallets in Tokyo ?  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Just wondering !

North Korea reportedly warns Japan it would target Tokyo first

North Korea reportedly warned Japan that Tokyo would be the first target if Pyongyang decides to play its nuclear card.
The warning reportedly is in response to Tokyo's standing orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan, according to Korean Central News Agency. Japan has deployed PAC-3 missile interceptor units around Tokyo to protect its capital and is taking North Korea’s rhetoric seriously.

To hazzard a guess they probably have a lot of redundancy built into their systems as well as an off-site(maybe even out of country) disaster recovery site

Used bitinstant to fund my blockchain address and while i got an email from zipzap over an 3 hours ago it has yet to show up in my blockchain address.

Now i'm having trouble with logging into blockchain.

Price has went up 15$ since i bought. So I know i will get screwed on that. the whole system is kind of ridiculous.

Probably the last time i buy bitcoins until the system works itself out.

I'm on the 4/8 list and have been trying to stay patient. I haven't received any emails or pm's and didn't contact bitinstant through their support page, so I'm just wondering if my issue is with level 2 support or something? There's my Mt. Gox account since i never provided that before. Thanks!

Because you have not only made me miss a huge bubble, potentially robbing me of opportunity to make 100s, but also caused me to miss the lowest BTC has been in weeks; I expect to be compensated at the lowest price BTC has been at throughout the whole 'deposit pending' process, which has been since 4/3, well over a week.

I have no doubt you will comply...
