Still waiting after 5 days I am on the 4/10 list

Amount to Pay: $503.95
Receive Code: 9611
Account Number: 543931851
Merchant order ID
184b1fc3-5408-4892-85f1-19d7bfeecd7e

...

Was this Merchant order ID sent to you by ZipZap ? I guess I'm pretty much fucked then. The one ZipZap sent me e1ed6c25-58fe-4095-8ad1-c851ae1b1f8c does not exist at Bitinstant. I saved the Order ID when I started the process in Bitinstant, but so far the the only event I have after one week is "Quote for new transaction" (this is at https://bitinstant.com/order_status/......).

You may want to take your receipts and go back to Zipzap and make sure you have he right number. Their support got me the numbers I have. I took screen captures of my orders, so I have a copy with Bitinstant instants system. I am getting very distressed about having this much money out of my control.
Looking forward to a new system

I got the numbers from their support system too, which excells at quickly answering so I'm trusting them and believe the fault is entirely on Bitinstant's side. That merchant order id I wrote over there was pasted directly from ZipZap's email, so it is the right number already :/

In the middle of this fiasco, Bitinstant instituted a new Customer Service System at their website. I requires that you have the Quote ID which is different from the Merchant Order ID. Why don't you get that from ZipZap and try from there?

I still have my Quote ID, and already used it at the new contact page at Bitinstant. https://bitinstant.com/order_status/276c251e-7f80-4147-ad2c-c3242a9a8192

Yep.. nothing.

What would this do to the bitcoin exchange BTC and wallets in Tokyo ?  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Just wondering !

North Korea reportedly warns Japan it would target Tokyo first

North Korea reportedly warned Japan that Tokyo would be the first target if Pyongyang decides to play its nuclear card.
The warning reportedly is in response to Tokyo's standing orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan, according to Korean Central News Agency. Japan has deployed PAC-3 missile interceptor units around Tokyo to protect its capital and is taking North Korea’s rhetoric seriously.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/04/12/north-korea-reportedly-warns-japan-to-be-first-target-over-order-to-destroy/?cmpid=prn_aol&icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl1%7Csec1_lnk2%26pLid%3D297792

Good Question Vette. I've seen another exchange say they had redundant servers. But what about mtGoX? & even if the data is there, the operational folks need a backup physical location too. i.e. "Key people redundancy"

I will spend a ton of time calling your ass out

http://bitinstantscam.com/index.php

I would like to organize a Class Action Suit...I am not an attorney, but I think if we get a large enough group together, we could do something.. I would be the first to organize and arrange this...I only was stuck like 30$, but I spent a lot of energy going thru the Dwolla process and then, now, tracking my money down... By the way, Dwolla will not do anything about your coins being stuck...In fact, they acknowledged to me that BitInstant is running what looks like a Ponzi scheme, and they will not do anything about it....I have sent numerous PMs,emails, support lists, yada yada yada, and nothing...I also think they are going to give back large sums first, and let the little sums go on, and hope that noone  goes after them.....My logic here, is that we gather an enormous group, and file..I am one state over, and could make it into NYC if I had to... This way, even if you were ripped off for 10$, everyone gets a piece of the action....PM me, if you would be interested in filling a class action suit... The faster we get on this, the quicker it will be....Also, BitInstant should not be in business right now....If you know you can not provide an accurate, and honest service, then why take peoples' money? I like to focus on whats between the lines...The way they have that automated system setup, is to scam people...If you go to their website, it use to say "Bitcoins within one hour", now it does not....There is no reason that they should be short on money...If you are overwhelmed with business, stop being greedy and shut down....Honestly, BitInstant, Ursay, this is going to get very ugly soon....I predict by next week or so, BitInstant will stop responding to the forums...Watch and learn!

BitInstant Lawsuit, BitInstant Class Action Lawsuit, BitInstant.com, Where to buy Bitcoins, Charlie Shrem, Yankee, Ursley, BitInstant Scam, http://www.linkedin.com/in/charlieshrem

Send me my coins, and dont charge me a fee!! I want them at market price to... I will be on Linkedin next!!

BitInstant Engine performance report:
Since I've had a bunch of successful transactions in the past, I decided to roll the dice again at this BI craps table and ordered another roll even while my old order is still getting "processed".  It's been 2 1/2 hours and I was just starting to gather my info for a NEW ticket, and walla, funds just arrived at MtGoX.  Course it's $20 more per coin than instant but when it hits $10,000 that won't matter too much.   Felt like BitCasino but we're on!

I have liked bitcoin from the first time i heard of it.

The previous 2 times i bought in was fast and i enjoyed the experience.

Now everyone knows about bitcoin and these mainstream operators can't keep up with the pace.

Bad look for bitcoin.

Thanks for the reply glt512. I have used bitinstant twice in the last couple of months and it was basically an instant process.

Are they really stealing from customers now? Or is it just a longer process?

None the less it puts an extra bad mark on bitcoin if we do not receive our money.

I don't know who is at fault now because blockchain is saying "error getting wallet balance".

Bitcoin wanted all this attention and they got it. Now there getting laughed at because they can't handle it.

it's definitely bitinstant's fault. blockchain doesn't mess up.

We are not stealing from customers.  Your price is locked in at purchase.  If we send you the wrong amount of coin we will fix it.

Used bitinstant to fund my blockchain address and while i got an email from zipzap over an 3 hours ago it has yet to show up in my blockchain address.

Now i'm having trouble with logging into blockchain.

Price has went up 15$ since i bought. So I know i will get screwed on that. the whole system is kind of ridiculous.

Probably the last time i buy bitcoins until the system works itself out.

zip zap acct. #?

I will try once more. I have the following directly from ZipZap:

Merchant order ID
e1ed6c25-58fe-4095-8ad1-c851ae1b1f8c

Customer account ID
280 611 609

Payment code
QKMSA54GVJ2GV22NA01275X3LX6A92

Status
Paid

Amount
300.00 USD

Now, this order id doesn't exist in Bitinstant. Why ? All I have from Bitinstant is the Quote ID 276c251e-7f80-4147-ad2c-c3242a9a8192, which has no information.

I'm on the 4/8 list and have been trying to stay patient. I haven't received any emails or pm's and didn't contact bitinstant through their support page, so I'm just wondering if my issue is with level 2 support or something? There's my Mt. Gox account since i never provided that before. Thanks!

Hey everybody I'm back to try and help with your issues as much as possible...

What is the deal? I haven't received my bitcoins and its been nearly a week. That's ridiculous. Please inform me on what is needed in order to complete my transaction. I can't believe you call yourselves BitInstant... What a joke. Horrible service.
