I made a purchase through bitinstant last night, I was supposed to receive $451 worth of btc, however the amount I was sent is $51 short. In essence this money was simply stolen from me, your service is outright stealing from customers as of late.

@URSAY

Please resolve all the matters as soon as possible!!!!

Those orders are huge and still pending!

1st order: https://www.bitinstant.com/order_status/eaefb4e7-db15-4749-b7a7-839c95a78ae2
2nd order: https://www.bitinstant.com/order_status/b05bd112-a450-46af-bf6a-43f062b23a78

Please solve these, I have not received any of these orders!

Edit:
Also about the rates, could you please do the transactions at current rates? The person I am sending these will withdraw them very very soon!

Transaction price is locked in at time of purchase.  I do not personally have a solution for your issue so I would ask that you submit a support request at bitinstant.com/contact

Your submission is looked at by multiple CS reps with more experience then me on these types of issues.  Thanks.

OK, I have added another support request regarding the same. Please reply me ASAP as I want to send the money ASAP (or I will have to bear the penalty).
-------------------------------------
AKAB, if you go back far enough in this thread you will see you have to make TWO tickets, since FIRST they need to get you your money, THEN you(& they) need to calculate how much you got wronged out of by their failure. If they were on the ball, they'd figure it out directly and make an offer of x # of bitcoins, and send them directly to your wallet if you'd prefer. (Both ways have accounting issues)

I am simply writing this to give my honest overall opinion of Bitinstant and to give you guys an idea of what you are in store for.  I have been using Bitinstant for a long time and I never even had to create an account on here except until a few months ago.  And I feel that this increase in business is a horrible excuse for what is happening. If you cant handle your company shut down your site, fix all orders 100% and then only take what you can handle.  They even said that it takes days for them to receive payment so it is blatantly obvious that these guys do not have the money on hand to operate so they are waiting for you new guys to place orders to pay for the old ones.  Its not how you do business and I do not see how they are even operating.  These guys are making a killing off of shorting everybody and if they tell you they match the BTC price that is a lie.  For you to get that honored not only do you have to wait till your transaction finally gets processed you then have to catch their mistake and message some one on here and hope that you get the difference.  The 2 times that this happened I got the 1 BTC I was owed for the difference in price and the second time was after waiting 2 weeks it was closer to a 2 BTC difference which I never received and was told I would get after messaging numerous people but I did not even bother following up any more with it since I was so pissed off with them and just happy that I received most of my transaction and this was a few months ago so the price was not as high as it was today.  Obviously only a small percent of people will do that and that still does not even guarantee you your money so 90% of the time they are keeping what you deserve.  Do not spend money with them unless you can afford to have your funds tied up for weeks at a time and you do not mind receiving the absolute worst customer service you will experience in your life.  I have personally dealt with the CEO Charlie/Yankee and i am not sure if he was having a bad day but he was a complete douche and seems like most of his responses to people on here are not very helpful.  I am only on here to tell people my experience and let them judge if they feel like risking it.  I feel a little better now lol.

So Cogine, you're happy with Dwolla?  I was taken aback when I heard they put like a 30 day hold with "know your customer" federal reserve BS. At this rate though, that'll come BEFORE I get my missing BitInstant funds.

Really, I did have to send them a copy of my Passport.
And talking with people at my bank to attempt to make the 4day transfer from bank to dwolla be instant.
All my transfers from dwolla to MTGOX have taken less then 2hours for .25 cent fee.
I transfer 503.95 here and get 480.05 - I have been waiting for 10day
I have done two transfers from my bank to dwolla to MTGOX in the time i have been waiting for this to be resolved

Virwox is down (and has been for hours at least). Why?

EDIT: The site was never down. Hotspot shield VPN was blocking it (or the other way around). My bad.

Still waiting for Order ID 62f756f2-1770-4361-a5a2-ccb68132efbb to show up in GOX account

24+ hours now

106 hours... and counting

OrderID: 8ded4ee8-2ba1-4e09-9a28-cd3f3b03b596
EventID: 50ba5957-5ac5-402b-a55d-fd7698ebd95f
QuoteID: 25cecd55-05b5-4f1a-b5de-10c74f9d39f5

Lists 4/8 and 4/9, new "ticketing"-system and sent several Emails.

But ok, i take it no longer serious... Instant is still ok for me as i deal with geological timescales on my dayjob, maybe i have to sit back and relax as the bitinstant staff comes from a similar field of work? No idea.. but then this waiting would make at least some sense.... -_-

Pay Pal transactions can take at least a week to verify before they are completed.

Are you kidding me? Each transaction i made till today went through in < 12 hours....

@URSAY

As @BitcoinApprentice said in this thread, that I need to create *2* support thread for my issue. ONE (1) for sending my money to the address, and SECOND (2) for sending me more bitcoins as this is Bitinstant's failure.

I am *NOT* creating 2 support tickets right now, but I will if I don't get the money withing next 3 days. YOU PLEASE TRANSFER THE CURRENT AMOUNT OF MONEY AT OLD RATES. Then we could look at sending more BTCitcoins.

Always, respect. Join CEX.IO and we both get advatage.

I made a purchase through bitinstant last night, I was supposed to receive $451 worth of btc, however the amount I was sent is $51 short. In essence this money was simply stolen from me, your service is outright stealing from customers as of late.

Please tell me if you need anymore information.
Edit: I want this rectified, here's some proof of the thievery https://i.imgur.com/bxN0TI6.png

I've escalated you to the person who handles order execution price problems.  Sorry for your troubles.
And if it says the order went thru fine, then you will be waiting for ever to get the difference.
Day 10 Here, Weeeeeeeee
Dwolla ---> MTGOX only way to go
Wonder if they have an HR Dept to cover things like payroll and workmans comp,
Or just doing everything under the table - Someone could look into this

Haha, I included a picture though! It proves that what I'm saying is true, that should count for something Sad
So did I, you will just be told that you could have photoshoped it.
10days and counting to infinity

They can check the address on blockchain.info themselves, I can't falsify that. Isn't bitcoin awesome?  Grin

Yes we actually use that often as a resource when understanding if funds actually hit your account or not.

Virwox is down (and has been for hours at least). Why?

Even major websites in the Bitcoin world go up and down.  Perhaps DDos?  Could be anything.

Nice put..

Also... what about compensation for these problems? If people wait a week for the execution of their orders  bitinstant should at least drop the incredibly high fee... or lower it. This way though they make really some bad reputation for themselfes.

A while ago i told everyone "Yeah, it is expensive but they work instantanously..." i wouldnt do so any longer.
