Most news I get from DCR is from friends, I wish there was something official about whats going on.

Decred community has already created the solid framework and successfully done atomic swaps using simple secure smart contracts and now there is the potential to create the tools to make it a functional ecosystem (functionality in more wallets (GUIs) and a system of offer/take).

Decred's development activity has been unusually active in the background when compared to other projects.
Anyone familiar with the codebase itself can attest to its quality.

Decred is the best example for any project. It was a airdrop coin and now it is one of the biggest in the crypto world. The dev team did a amazing job. It is very unique.

For me, the Lighting Network protocol is of some interest. Its main goal is to increase the scaling of transactions, but it also increases the privacy of users.

Onchain probably a store of value and reconciliation while offchain layers built on Decred like lightening would be used for transactions. That’s my guess.dcr is a coin supposed to be used for payments ?

Despite the whole situation on the market, now we see a successful and confident growth. This project has not yet fully shown itself. I believe in the price around $ 1000. This will happen in a couple of years.

There are several companies developing DCR asics. A couple (or just one?) have already launched batch 1 actually. It's why we're seeing the difficulty booming day after day. In one month's time, we'll look back to today's difficulty and cry |
