Bank are closed in France between 31.10 and 5.11 ... sad,  but you have to except this kind of problems with a French based activity...

what kind of bank holiday is this? The one where there's 10% of funds missing afterwards? 8-|

BTC withdrawals require clicking on a confirmation link: the only reason for a delay in excess of one business day is that you did not check the confirmation email. I do not see an open support ticket on this subject.
Do you kidding me Huh
Of course I clicked on the confirmation link just after its receiving.
Of course there is an open support ticket (#4572).
Bad faith spotten ?

After a bail-in, 'missing' depends on one's frame of reference.

A good trick is to appropriate money to leverage efficiently during a devaluation, then give it back eventually.  The victim is ass-raped, but ends up relieved and thankful to the assailant anyway.

Another cool trick is to sit on funds until the creditors vanish for some reason (e.g., lack if interest, death, etc.)

These things can work at both a local and national level.

Strange: you are supplying a support ticket number. BC does not use ticket numbers, only accounts.
Are you a real customer or a new avatar of tvbcof (tvbcof is on my ignore list for accute paranoia symptoms) ?

When you sign up wih bitcoin-central you get a payment account (in Euro) once your account is verified by our banking partner (BC does not do account verification itself).
From your payment account you can then withdraw Euros to the bank account you have registered upon sign up.

Indeed, the number is not « public ». It is only visible at the end of the URL when you show the details of the ticket.
And yes, i'm a real customer, and don't know who tvbcof is.

A new day, no more withdrawal…
And if this is a confirmation link problem, confirmation link was surely validated next evening when I re-re-re-try it…

"Bitcoin transfers are processed once a day from Monday to Friday."
That is an excerpt from our "Withdraw bitcoin page".
So if you confirmed the withdrawal say Friday after the batch was sent, then you are not getting your BTCs until Monday (tomorrow).
This delay is due to human verification of each and every withdrawals. It should go down to a couple hours after this initial (re-launch) period we are in.

I confirm my withdrawal *tuesday*, not friday…
So I should have my funds on wednesday, at worst on thursday… not on monday of the next week!

The new site looks great, but as long as the order book remain almost empty and spread high, people will stay away. When was it launched?

It was launched in beta in december 2010.
The new version was released a month ago with a new banking partner.
We are still in the process of having the new banking partner verify accounts ( to open a payment account for each BC customer): this takes time but it is the price to pay for compliance with European regulation.
Since BC is adding this way hundreds of verified accounts every week, we expect the trade volume to go up gradually.

LOL
I applied on 22 of October 2013 and nothing yet.
Your new partner is kill you.
I was already verified in your previous platform that was hacked twice.
So you are trying re-verify me and you can't.

Tips are welcome at this address 18DVZkpSwmejPjekX3QMKvRRtR8Bfx65LN.

Same here. I understand there is a huge queue.
Can we at least get our queue number on the profile page?

Apparently we can't.
It's a secret. We have to relay on the bullshit they are feeding us.

I agree that the new partner is too slow now but they are adding ressources so they should be faster starting mid-november.
Bear in mind that BC is the only truly compliant real time trading platform in Euro.
When some exchanges do KYC due diligence by themselves they are not being compliant until they are licensed, period.
If they perform KYC that is to protect themselves against fraud not to protect your funds from being frozen if and when they are shut down by regulators.

I was already verified in your previous platform that was hacked twice.
So you are trying re-verify me and you can't.
You are being too generous. BC suffered only one partial hack where only a small fraction of the funds were stolen so BC remained solvent at all times.
At least it shows that the alert system worked.
BC was open about it while other platforms may have suffered partial hacks unbeknownst to you.
Anyhow, this is history because BC took on the task to rebuild from the ground up so as to offer now the most secure platform (100% cold storage).
Again, bear in mind that BC does not do account verification because only the financial institution partner is licensed to do so.

I am not writing this to bash the service or whatever (BTW I am still waiting for verification to happen for many days as well), however I have opened a ticket suggesting not to use Google fonts that are unreadable on a desktop web browser and the ticket has been sitting there forever unacknowledged and unanswered.

Even a "we will think about it" or "f*ck you we like the way numbers are garbled on the screen" would have made a difference.

This lack of communication in my opinion is detrimental to the users' trust as it feels like nobody is monitoring the platform.

My 2 cents.
