Attention players in Australia and Asia (and night owl North Americans) our site is currently down to a network outage at our hosting provider. We're working on a solution ASAP.

Hi Cogine,

We are still having trouble with our hosting provider. All accounts and Bitcoins are safe. We are trying our best to get this resolved as quickly as possible. We are really sorry that the site has been down for so long.

The video poker resembles the real ones I've seen pretty closely.

Thanks! Our inspiration were the classic machines in Las Vegas. We love the design.

Attention all players, our video poker is now +EV thanks to the progressive jackpot. If you love Video Poker or just love winning a jackpot now is the time to play.

is this something like the concept of offering a "loss leader"?

Not quite, since the progressive jackpot doesn't really cost the site anything directly (other than putting the money slowly into a progressive rather than pocketing it).  But casinos generally love them because it allows them to offer a giant jackpot without the casino ever having to take a big hit.  And without ever losing anything, they get the excitement of spreading a game where the odds favor the players.  It's just subsidized by the people who play when the game is -EV.

I just busted half an hour playing that video poker game. Really nice design it reminded me of this handheld I used to play a long time ago, and like those video poker slots in Vegas. Super fun and addicting game I'm not exactly sure why I haven't seen another BTC version of video poker yet. You guys did a great job, though it gets a bit buggy with the hold button and there are some features I'm unfamiliar with that could use some explanation (like the "double" button, but I haven't really played this game much enough so maybe that's my fault). I also like the ability to be able to "test" play without having to deposit any BTC onto the site. Really love the simplistic design on each of the games.

Thanks for the kind words! Yep, the oldschool Vegas Poker machines were what we are going for, glad it's being appreciated Smiley We have a lot of fond memories of playing Video Poker and Video craps in Vegas so we wanted to make that experience available using bitcoin. Try out the full screen mode if you want to feel like you're sitting at a machine, or better yet if you want to experience the handheld again we have an android app with Video Poker, Blackjack and Slots. The full screen mode button is found in the upper right hand corner.

We're constantly on the hunt for bugs, can you explain what was going on with the hold button? The Double button just allows you to double down. Some of the buttons of the site take some explanation, so we've provided a red HELP button in the lower right hand corner that explains all the nuances of each game. If you run across something that isn't explained by the HELP button let us know and we can clarify or add information to the site.

It's been a while since I've played on this site, but it was already very good when I played on it 3+ months ago. It might deserve another look now with the progressive jackpot. Smiley

Yes, it's actually the serious oldskool element of the video poker that I think is best about this site.  It feels like actually playing a real classic full-pay jacks or better machine.

The site is down for me. Looks like some sort of CloudFlare issue? I hope it isn't being DDOSed! Sad

We were down for a few minutes when the network connection at the server hiccuped. It's back up now, no DDOSing!
