Windows 10 is a absolute resource pig. Im wondering how much better I would do in Linux anyone run Linux on a AMD 8 core what kind of hash are you getting?

Each new version of Windows is specifically designed to retain that familiar IBM XT user experience.

You could install Linux on a 32GB USB stick to try it, and HDD performance isn't a major issue.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

sending coins from an encrypted wallet will ask you for the passphrase and temporarily unlock. The default behavior is to remain locked.

New Interest Rate Calculator webpage -

https://hodlcoin.github.io/

You're losing interest just by reading to the end of this very long, some might say, unnecessarily long, sentence. Get HODLed up - lock in the current interest rate now before more of your time is wasted by unnecessarily long sentences designed to delay your HODLing.

Membercoin - Layer 1 Coin used for the member.cash decentralized social network.
10% Interest On All Balances. Browser and Solo Mining. 100% Distributed to Users and Developers.

So mining and interest can be achieved without unlocking wallet right?

Yes locked wallet.. Paper wallet.. Deep freeze wallet... Deleted wallet (interest will not be claimed bc it will never move)...  even all the those burnt nuts (but once again that interest will stop in 30days and never be claimed)

By claimed I mean will not even show up in the supply..

About a day, or two, I must say...
But depending of your luck, maybe 2 hours to 2 days.
The sure thing is that in 2 days you will hit a block.
That is not scientific calculations, it is personal experience though...

Just checking in I got a block last night. my last block before that was on the 5th. This is the desktop AMD 8350 4ghz 8 core 16gb ram with windows 10. The hash on mine the fluctuates from 70 to 100. The old laptop is a HP 1.9 ghz 8 gb ram windows 10, IT hit two blocks on the 29th and never again this poor old thing runs 17hash. I am using the default mine setting on both after much screwing around with it found out the regular setting in the wallet were best for me. Good luck Mining. Fish

Just a question,

Since the wallet can lock in Months can I Term Lock some HODL for 3 years (36 Months) and still have the Interest Multiplier ?

After 1 year Bonus Interest on balance is 98% so would it halve every year ?

"Term deposit Rates"
1 week term deposit ~ 5.6% bonus on interest
1 month term deposit ~ 22% bonus on interest
3 month term deposit ~ 55% bonus on interest
6 month term deposit ~ 82% bonus on interest
1 year term deposit ~ 98% bonus on interest
