Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

I honestly do not think that the bitcoin can do this, the banks just have too much power all over the world, they will never let this happen.
The point is that banks are gonna create a own coin and it will most likely will be a lot bigger because its created by banks..

If banks creates their own coin then bitcoin will face a tough competition from it, and if it is better and innovative then bitcoin then people would simply switch towards it.

I also think this will happen honestly, there are already banks busy with it, I heard it on different news websites of different country's so that is pretty bad for the bitcoin itself.

If bitcoin holds great value in future then it will never face any competition from a new born baby as by that time people would have started to trust bitcoin, and they will invest in a crypto which exists since long time.

Absolutely not,bitcoin not compete banks,and its just like other bank who will stand together with bank,its hard for bitcoin to make banks disappear,everything happen in this world will not make banks disappear.

Nope!! If the fiat will still exist it banks won't disappear. Also, government won't let that happen. Maybe they will just adapt bitcoin.
In some countries(including mine) you still need to convert btc to fiat in local exchange and cash it out in banks.

Bitcoins although are going in a great improvement and progress, but still they are not in a position now to overcome the banks and other institutions.
We have to give some more time to the bitcoins to achieve this Goal.

Easily? I dont think so bitcoin can easily replace the bank. Its like a tradition of everyone, bank will always be there no matter what. And there is still a lot of people who would still  choose bank to store their money specially businessmen.

I thinkits not that much weak,  we need both banks and wallets because till now we need the banking services to promote better the Bitcoin and convince more people to support it as we can convert it into fiat easily...

Yep i think it will not disappear, It maybe Combined their uses, Ihave a btc wallet that i can transfer to my bank account easily

Thats a very strong point of bitcoin in which all of us should focus more to promote it more. If people know how easily is to convert bitcoin to Fiat then it is inevitably that there will be more and more people embracing it and therefore making it stronger.

Really difficult to imagine that scenario, as bitcoin is too young in front of banking system and banks are the mother of all, bitcoin will need strong and powerful reason to replace banks which seems to be impossible at a moment.

Yes banks holds the responsibility of its users in case anything wrong goes with their savings and if its bank's fault they will help in recovering your money, and that is not possible with bitcoin.

I doubt that it will be happen no program or sytem can replace banks but it still exist due to law of government implemented to it and i think bitcoin cant never ever make bank dissapear because bitcoin relay On banks si it can be exchange and be used without bank bitcoin is nothing and thats very impossible idea for bitcoins state.

I agree. Banks will not disappear because so many things are connected to them and it's hard to imagine that Bitcoin will take over all of those operations. 20 years from now they might disappear though.
