Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

Bitcoin is not a direct enemy for banks, its only indirect. People will still want other people to hold their finances for them.

I think both will survive and both have a great future ahead, as banks are also serving in best possible way with innovative services and people are loving it and highly satisfied with it, so banks will never disappear.

People has no choise to protect their money,banks has garantee till an ammount backup by the country,bitcoin has potencial but may die soon or later no one knows,soo if i have to choose i would go into both as i consider and believe in bitcoin potencial and i dont wanna banks to keep taking the fee to they lend my money to others ,they should pay me to get my money and not the reverse.

all people agree that bitcoin will not make bank disappear,the only possible thing is bitcoin will compete banks,and it start happen in this year,but some event will decide how long and how far bitcoin will make bank feel awfull with bitcoin existence. I think Bitcoin cannot make banks disappear, because we all know that bank is more secure than bitcoins, and it's trusted by many people in this world. But bitcoin is a good currency if you want to make money, but don't compare it to bank, bank is different from bitcoin.

I don't think it can for now at least. Banks provide services for long years no matter what. Yes, banks are facing a really very tough competition from bitcoin at a moment, and they are aware if bitcoin gets on mainstream that would be an end of banking system and that's the reason they are not supporting bitcoins. I guess that would be a very long process. No bank will want to die because of bitcoin (which doesn't need any bank as you know). So i guess banks will just try to stop bitcoin from emerging further.

That is the scenario only in African region, you cannot accept the same from across the globe as in Asian countries banks are the strongest financial institutions and cannot get replaced so easily.

It is possible that more people will use bitcoin in upcoming days. But it doesnt mean that it will make bank dissapear. People are getting much more facilities from bank than bitcoins. In my my view, both will stay with us to serve us.
