If you sell everything now, around 30 days from halving, then you are just retarded. The price is going to rise a lot when halving comes, be smart, save your Bitcoin.
The OP was made in January 2016. The focus is more on equities and other asset classes, which have been affected by quantitative easing. Yes, somewhere along the line, people stopped reading the posts and just assumed this was about bitcoin exclusively and have only been talking about that since then. (The original post didn't even contemplate crypto, but mainstream investments.) It should be better for you if you are waiting a longer time so you can earn some more money later because the value around this time is now rising. And you have to know that it can takes a long time until the value will be more worth so patience is also important. |

Exactly, this is not the right time to sell everything as price is not good enough to make profits, I think we should wait till halving to make higher profits from it when price goes higher. Yeah after or few weeks after halving is a good choice to sell our coins because i think that the price will reach up to $900-1k per piece. So i think that price is good choice to secure our profits and sell our coins. But we need to be smart on choosing the right time to sell because we cannot ensure the high price will stay long because anything can happen anytime  . |

You are right before selling of all your bitcoin holdings. Just wait for a short period of time/days. And after waiting for it because the halving is going to happen within few days. You are going to make a good profit out of it. |

if the price will reach a top price due to the block halving, then it will be just before the block halving. once the block halving is over i expect the price to go down significantly. beside that, it's never a good idea to sell all your coins at once. till now people have always regret selling all their coins. it's bad because you don't get to benefit from the price going up even further. |

if the price will reach a top price due to the block halving, then it will be just before the block halving. once the block halving is over i expect the price to go down significantly. beside that, it's never a good idea to sell all your coins at once. till now people have always regret selling all their coins. it's bad because you don't get to benefit from the price going up even further. Yup even if you see higher price you should always sell part of your coins and rest should be hold for the future as you can make higher profits in future if price goes higher. |

This is not the best time to sell everything and if you do then you are missing an opportunity to earn higher profits at halving, best choice would be to hold your coins till halving. |

Don't wait for halving but rather ride every large margin of price fluctuations that will happen in the period of your waiting in your target price. It's far more profitable than relying on halving to make such profits. With this price increase, expect more sequence of ups and downs in really a large margin of price. |
