I missed out on the LISK ICO because I just now got back into Crypto more heavily due to being very busy plus some health issues etc, but are there any other ways via promotion to earn a few LISK before the Launch? Also would it be a good idea to just pick some up as soon as it hits the exchanges and just hold?

I do hold some Lisk and i seriously think that a delay wouldnt be good for the project's credibility. Devs had plenty of time to prepare the launch and now, we are talking about and another delay, hope its not true. Of course, delay is better than flaws in a code

Longer delay, the longer funds sit in escrow. How are they to spend it on development. Catch 22?

I was thinking the same thing.. but I was considering what I would do if I were in the same position as Max and Oliver.. I personally wouldn't have the patience to wait.. If I get nearly 6 million dollars to launch a technology I would move the launch date forward to immediately.. not push it back lol

You gotta move quickly in crypto. So many things change in a blink of an eye. If anything I would definitely move the launch date forward to make use of the funds asap.

There will be no delay. The fork was a simple double-signed block, which was snowballed by a snaphot being downloaded containing said block. As it happens... easily fixed, but requires a fresh chain. Unfortunately, people always blow things out of proportion. Postgresql has added alot of speed and features. I'm confident we will be on time, and have also confirmed this with Oliver. -Eric- aka Phoenix1969 aloha mates!

Any pools for delegetes voting?
They came and went quickly because account balance has everything to do with vote-weight and maintaining rank (edit) there are a couple, but nothing has made top 101 since version 012

do you think the lisk launch will undervalue other coin, because everyone will jump here on this crazy train? i was thinking to dump everything else because of this possibility
many people will do that..happy days to get buy orders filled so this is why there is no more pumo on the other coin, all dumped minus ethereum, everyone is waiting for lisk i think

I am for the May 24th launch! No more delays! Believe that Lisk can out shine any other ico or not. LISK will always have competitors! Every amazing idea does. As soon as there is a delay another ico will begin. There is no such thing as a perfect time. Just a better time. The media outside of cryptocurrency and all of the cryptocurrency world expects LISK to launch on May 24th! Less than 2 weeks away! Enjoy the ride everyone!

The perfect time was two weeks ago, since then we have two more competitors, now we have DOA, Rise and Waves while two weeks ago there was only Waves.

For what reason do you want a delay? I'm confused. Things are actually going pretty well for having switched core db's, and this little hiccup requires a simple fix. You should also consider the fact we will have 101 delegates in control, and those who don't push updates will be un-voted. AND...Oliver has done a great job. At launch, when ico funds are released, we will have all the dev help we need to excel. I wish i could tell you more about it... let's just say..."Helluva team forming".

Thanks goodness the LISK team don't have to listen to you. That would be odd that random anonymous bitcointalk members want to tell you when you can launch LISK which will delay all their plans since they can't access the funds until a successful launch has occurred. Even better these anonymous accounts on bitcointalk want the Lisk team to wait until September! Next these anonymous individuals will tell the Lisk team on how to spends the millions of U.S. dollars they received in donations. The best part is that Max lives in Germany and Oliver in the United Kingdom and most of they individuals probably don't live in these countries much less understand how to run a multi million dollar tech startup on an international level and the international legalities that come along with it. At the very least these anonymous individuals on this bitcointalk forum would have to expose themselves completely to the world like Max and Oliver have already done down below. If not then just shut up about delaying the launch anonymous trolls! Core Team & Management LiskHQ Max Kordek, CEO Max Kordek is a futurist and thoroughbred entrepreneur who is interested in disruptive technologies. Having a rich experience in the blockchain industry and seeing the potential of decentralized applications, he co-founded Lisk. A decentralized application and sidechain platform for JavaScript developers which caused a stir when it collected 14000 BTC in its crowd fund early 2016. karmacoma24 Oliver Beddows, CTO Oliver Beddows is a full stack developer with over 15 years experience in developing web based e-commerce applications. He joined Crypti (Lisk's predecessor) in early 2015 as a tools developer, and went on to build tools such as the CryptiChain Blockchain Explorer and CryptiKit, a node deployment and management tool. He is a husband, father, amateur time-trialist, open-source advocate, and works tirelessly to build a better future for Lisk everyday. Bigcabrito Joel Fernández, Community Manager Joel is a blockchain technology enthusiast, research scientist and aspiring programmer. He spent the last five years avidly researching the radical innovations of crypto-currencies and their role in reducing centralized inefficiencies.
