I have to agree that this coin is a scam. Lisk team lied about the state of development during the ICO.

This project has been a hot mess since day one and investors have lost fortunes here.  Max doesnt care about the price because we gave him 14 thousand bitcoin and he feels no pressure to do anything in a timely manner to get lisk back on track.

It is time for Max Kordek to step down and let someone more capable take control of Lisk.   SpongeBob SquarePants could do a better job of managing this project.

I sadly agree.  Max seems too relaxed.  I have lost a shitload on this project, even from being ICO holder and trying to become a delegate. At first we were waiting on funds to be released, now its meet up after meet up but for what reason?  no SDK for another year?  the price will shoot lower than ever before.  I cant stomach selling out now though but its hard to watch BTC and other projects kick LSK ass.  stratis looking better everyday.  Max needs to do something here... reward lisk holders with byteball or something similar or people will be out quick.

In fact max wants forging delegates to pay for all development of dapps and requires delegates to fill out a "transparency report" to show what they are doing with forged coins.  All the while sitting back resting easy on his 14,000 bitcoin stack.

I don't know what you're talking about.

The team has never said "We sell you a finished product ".

They have announced before the ICO "We want to develop Lisk". And that's what they do.

Hey, I'm not Max. And I'm not one of his lawyers.
But yes. If he says that then I believe that.

My current understanding on whitepaper is that, within this blockchain community, it is used as a marketing tool for upcoming ICO's. We still can, and may, create one but the question will then be if we would like to write a normal whitepaper or a more sophisticated (Ex: Bitcoin, Ethereum) one. It all depends if we find the time to do this or somehow think its worth taking a developers time away from development and steering it towards creating a Lisk whitepaper.

The main problem with Lisk is Max Kordek, secondary to that is that Lisk doesnt work.  Even after 1 year of development it still doesnt work. 

I can see some people have been rewarded.  I am suggesting ALL lisk holders, similar to waves members receiving WCT and WBTC for holding waves in there lite wallet.  I hope Max does really do something with the Byteball LSK was rewarded with.  2 rounds now.  It seems like lots is getting "worked" on but nothing is being done properly.  Its crazy to me they have to re-think how the SDK will actually work (stability and security) after it has been a year and knowing JS is the way it is in general.  what has been going on for a year?  Max must do better to communicate what gets done every week.  weekly reports.  honestly, i hope this project picks up not only momentum and devs, but real marketing and branding. hodl my breath.

As of the 21st February 2017 at 6:30pm CET, the Lisk Foundation controls the following fiat and cryptocurrency assets for on-going operations and long-term storage:

- 572,377.69 CHF
- 517,653.10 EUR
- 10,943.958646 BTC
- 4,407,448.78 LSK
- 19,863,230,659,049 bytes

Additionally, the Lisk Foundation holds the following assets for bounties and advisers:

- 3,926,049.87211678 LSK (Bounties)
- 771,745.97898046 LSK (Advisers)


Expenditures

In January 2017 the Lisk Foundation spent approximately 241,172.4 CHF for all operations, including pre-payments and future allocations. Below you can find an approximate breakdown of this years expenses.

Marketing & PR: 7,035 CHF
Infrastructure: ~2,500 CHF
Legal: 15,023.40 CHF
Conferences & Travels: ~3,000 CHF

Furthermore, a pre-payment of around 200,000 EUR (213.610 CHF) was conducted with one of the Lisk Foundation's main contractors which handles development, marketing and community support. This pre-payment is not for January only, after the first quarter the real costs can be better estimated.


Not included are: Taxes, exchange fees, smaller expenses throughout the year and dust.

The transparency report for February will be published in the beginning of April. This lag is necessary to give more accurate, polished and in-depth data.
