Furthermore, a pre-payment of around 200,000 EUR (213.610 CHF) was conducted with one of the Lisk Foundation's main contractors which handles development, marketing and community support. This pre-payment is not for January only, after the first quarter the real costs can be better estimated.

the team doesn't even do their own development. they contract it out to a third party - who knows who this is?? lol

Is already updated.

Furthermore, a pre-payment of around 200,000 EUR (213.610 CHF) was conducted to the lightcurve GmbH which handles development, marketing and community support. This pre-payment is not for January only, after the first quarter the real costs can be better estimated.

https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=1425

so they paid themselves.....aren't Max and Oliver the "bosses" of Lightcurve?

Edit: Yup, they are... https://www.moneyhouse.de/lightcurve-GmbH-Berlin

they've essentially made sure that they can "legally" get hold of all that cash.

Max's actually smarter than we think.....

 Grin

Yes they are the controlling minds of Lightcurve, and they were 'cute' in not openly revealing that reality to the market.

This is not for themselves, it is for the GmbH.
And Lightcurve support the development, marketing and other things.

As a GmbH, you always give reports to the financial authorities.
So so you can't just use the money for yourself.

where are the good governance checks and balances in the structure of Lightcurve?

The Foundation is Max and his associates, and Lightcurve is Max and his associates.

Will Lightcurve be putting out contracts to competitive tender, or awarding contracts to a clique?

Not sure but I assume you need to open a new thread with this parameter.
And personally I don't like self moderated threads.
However, the people should not quote any fud. Usually quite simple  Wink

Why the price is so bad now? I have never thought lisk would be seriously under ico price, most lisk long term holders are now bagholders. Especially who bought lisk above 50k sat, a huge loss here. Hope you can recover the bear market.
Sir, the bear market is caused by the uptrend of Bitcoin. In terms of bitcoin, it is below the ico price, but if you bought the ico using fiat, you are still earning.

It doesn't make sense to measure in fiat, why many people always refer to fiat? You sell it now for fiat? You buy with bitcoin, so calculate profit/loss in bitcoin, not in fiat.
it easy for some people to think, that they did not have any loss. LSK going down because of devs do not work and forging makes new LSK.

No. Other projects are creating whole new threads or close them down completely because of these on-going FUD campaigns.

Is it something we should consider so has to keep this thread "fud-free"?

No, we just have to continue to deliver consistently and move into the real world. You can't run away from FUD on BTT.

The problem is that YOU have not delivered anything of value to Lisk and the Lisk investors. You launched some shitty broken alpha software without disclosing that it was not functional.

This blockchain is still nearly as broken today as it was the day you launched it.

In one years time you havent even hammered out a plan for building or rebuilding the SDK which is really shocking considering that this is vital for Lisk's existence.

This is no FUD, this is the truth.

Excellent post and release!

I think you mean a joke of a post. Max keeps proving himself to be a joke and whole team is continuing to do so.

No ground breaking technology, just a post about using node js 6 over 7.

Probably the contracting firm that got 200k USD did this too. Someone like vitalik probably could've done it in a few days.

They call this 'major uplift' ? Bagholders - get out now. You've been warned.

I think Waves has tried that too with a new thread, but that did not work and the community was angry  Shocked

13 cents. Is Lisk dying?

that is my question too.  and honestly, i see it dropping.  seems like i should sell and buy stratis, maybe re-buy lisk in 5 months. this is a joke, fucking joke.

Good luck. But I am sure Lisk can't cheap like now after 5 moths later.  Cheesy

would you like to make a side bet?  5 months will be july - i bet the SDK will not be ready by july.. only more of funds spent on "things and stuff".  especially if in 5 months BTC is 1500.  lisk will be 10 cents.
