for me Bitcoin is "extra" let it be a extra at a moment, cannot expect that high from it and relying only on it for living is the weird decision to make, I will always treat it as a secondary income and not the primary one.

If you will be a full time bitcoin worker then maybe it can really help you in providing your daily needs. It actually depends, because if you have capital then it will be easy for you to invest your money in investment sites like MLM sites or dice sites and casino sites. But if you don't have enough capital ad you will just be doing faucets, blogging and others, it might be hard to earn a living with bitcoin. So if I were you, save an ample amount and invest it.Smiley

I'm just trying to scrape together a small amount of bitcoin right now. I have a regular job, so this is just on the side as an investment. With some trading, I hope to make a few bitcoins to hold for later.

I think this is probably what most people are doing. Right now obviously having a job is way better security for your career than to have a career of uncertainty in bitcoin startups.

Earning a living with bitcoin is possible, but right now not practical.

that's right. its better not to rely too much in bitcoin because we didnt know how long it will last. still better to have a real job and get a stable income.

I think that most people use bitcoin right now as a part time resource that can potentially yield them some extra income if the price goes up, for example. However, it is not guaranteed profits.

So no, I don't think that it is safe to earn a living with bitcoin right now, just yet.

Let's just say that miraculously, the bitcoin world becomes a ghost town. If the bitcoin world will end, it will not end in a second, or in a day. You'll have tons of time to prepare for its end. It'd not end overnight. You wouldn't just wake up and the bitcoin world is gone. So even if you don't know how long the bitcoin world will last, you can still have fun and make money in it.

Although as of now, it's still better to have a day job. You might be a high ranked member here but you wouldn't earn as much as you get from a day job. You can earn 15$/hour in a regular day job, how much more can you earn if you have something big in real life.

There might be some people who are earning a living with bitcoin because they have already built their empire (e.g. they have a famous gambling site, etc) but the problem is, you are not them.

It is very difficult to earn living only with bitcoins.
Firstly, bitcoins are accepted everywhere and you can not pay all your expenses.
Secondly, no legal way is possible to earn that much only with bitcoins.

you are right. very difficult to build a life with only bitcoin. but there is no way to build a life with bitcoin, is that you must have real jobs that can add finances to remain stable.
Yeah it is way to hard to earn a living with Bitcoin because being able to make enough money to pay there bills and other important stuff. You will have to spend much money.

i have never earned enough money with bitcoin though im trying to make some money out of it
If you are serious you will make a way to earn much money in bitcoin. Try signature campaign , some campaign are accepting newbies. You can make bitcoin more than faucets

There are a lot of ways to earn bitcoin and not just signature campaign or faucet. All you need is the desire and dedication to earn it. It is just like finding a job for fiat, there are a lot of jobs but you can't find one because you do not want hard labor. If yoh are ready to do hard stuff for bitcoin, you can earn a living out of it.

I agree, if you think you can focus and willing to earn a living from it then it is not bad to not find a labor job. Labor job is very tiring especially if your not the boss or manager. Plus you don't get the whole of your salary as you spend for your fare salary and the other deduction of it. Earning a living with bitcoin i think is a little bit lonely because you don't get to interact to many people everyday because you are only at home.

I think it depends on the personality of the person, and how you look at those thousand members in this forum, maybe physical interaction, if that what you mean, but i think we are already interacting with thousand of people just in this forum  Cheesy.  And yes with typical labor, you have all your deduction but well of course the benefits are bundled with those deduction except for the tax where it goes straight to the pocket of corrupt officials.    With Bitcoin as salary well deduction i think is still in effect especially if your company is to pay you BTC.  Even signature campaign, there are charges too, tx fee and withdrawal fee, but well it is so little compared to typical national tax deduction Cheesy.

Yeah, I guess most people probably treat bitcoin as a part time job instead of a full on job. Some people just prefer that peace of mind with some sort of  job security instead of all risk.

That said, many people work for bitcoin companies such as Coinbase, Localbitcoins etc.

If you have good capital to invest then you can earn a living with it, but for the normal users who are not earning huge amount from it, for them its not possible to depend only on bitcoin for living.

I have made a living with bitcoins for sadly just for 3 months, actually I left my house and was studying outside my city. Then I thought the money my parents gave me is quite less, hence I started with bitcoins and earned awesomely high. But sadly after 3 months I was back home Sad

I don't getr it - what is the problem in earning bitcoins when living with parents, especially if you managed to have "awesomely high" income? I'd say it should be even easier.

Exactly, if you are at home then I think you can concentrate more on work and you should continue to earn bitcoin as you were earning when you were away from home.

Yeah its always the best to earn bitcoins even you are on your parents. maybe you can also motivate them to use bitcoin and how to earn bitcoin so that they know how you are making money with bitcoin..
