That will be not possible. Because you need a lot and that is very hard to get it. And you also never know what the value will be and that is the problem.
The best thing is that you must see Bitcoin as a bonus and that will be very good. But you never know what can happen.

Earning a living with bitcoins seems very hard to do considering the volatility of it.

Not actually, If you are a trader, this is an advantage to you, and probably a good chance to earn because of volatility... but if you are an ordinary collector, the effect might not be good and probably you won't be earning for a living..

Quite yes for a trader. "Trader"

But to make living thru bitcoin, all trading funds must only used in trading purposes and not in your general financial purposes in life. It will  just ruined your supposedly profit.

Much better if we don't rely on bitcoin itself to make living. You, your family needs to eat at least three times a day, and that is 24/7. Treat your bitcoin earnings as your financial backup.

At a moment treating it as an extra income would be good, as if you make it your full time income then you find go through financial crisis in future if bitcoin price drops down.

I don't exactly do that, And bitcoin is just a side-job for me, But I seen some people in this forum doing that and are relatively good occupation standards, Either running or working at bitcoin exchanges or sites.

If you do alt coin mining at home I think you could make enough or near enough money to pay your bills or food for the month at least and use the rest of your salary for entertainment or vacations and such but it is barely a full time job.

Earning a living with bitcoins seems very hard to do considering the volatility of it.
You can take volatility to your advantage if you know the basics of trading. You dont need to have lots of bitcoins to make living off it but even if you have 1 btc you can earn some decent amount everyday by trading. But remember it also involves risk

If you have good starting position mining is very profitable business. And if you have cheap electricity even better.
But best is combination of few small business relate to bitcoin. Signature+mining+services+trading.
The way you are always in btc and one will always be profitable.

But are any of these guaranteed ways to give you a stable income? I wouldn't rely just on these to live off of.

I don't think services, mining, signature campaigns and trading are stable incomes. For example 1 month noone will buy your services, the alt coin prices may crash to the ground, the signature campaigns may close shop and the trading may lead to a loss. Stable income is when you receive a fixed pay every month by an employer.

If you offer services and you have a good feedback to other who have tries your services then you will surely get a monthly income.
It really depends on how good you do your job,if you are sloppy then you wont get any monthly income.

It hard to have that of course. But you need to make an good investment and also have to work hard. That is important.
Otherwise it is not possible. But that also depends on the value that Bitcoin have and you never know that what it will be in the future.

Even if the price of bitcoin skyrockets we cannot afford to rely only on bitcoins, as we know that higher price is not permanent and it can fall back down in future.

Being a freelancer on the open market with such a fierce competition nowadays does not guarantee you a stable monthly income. Some months you will have a lot of work and some other you may very well be scraping just enough cash to pay your bills and food expenses.

Yes i think it would be very risky as your living will be dependent on the value of bitcoin, if price is higher you will not have financial crunches but if it falls, then you know it very well what will happen.

Earning a living with the bitcoin is possible but its not so easy in my opinion because you will need a lot of money to invest.
So its not easy to do this but its certainly possible without a doubt.

I think you don't need to invest money to live with bitcoin.. you can offer your skills to some company or service in services section. you can live even you join in signature campaign and use the earnings of signature campaign to start trading and try to make some bitcoin there.
Or try to be a multi tasker while offering a service in services section you can trading and doing some simple task.. You can go to altcoin section they are Looking some developers for their altcoin.. and i think you can live if you do it all...

If it was so easy to make a living with bitcoin, with all the time years that it has existed, then there would not be any poverty. Because being poor drives people to try anything and everything to try and earn even a penny to live.
