Being a freelancer on the open market with such a fierce competition nowadays does not guarantee you a stable monthly income. Some months you will have a lot of work and some other you may very well be scraping just enough cash to pay your bills and food expenses.

Yes i think it would be very risky as your living will be dependent on the value of bitcoin, if price is higher you will not have financial crunches but if it falls, then you know it very well what will happen.

yeah, when the price is high then we can rely on it for living but when the price comes to low then the income becomes low, so unless the price is not stable we have to keep dollar as standard for service prices.

If famous in trading, then maybe you can earn a living with btc.

You dont need to be famous in trading all you need in trading is a lot of capital so when you sell something you will get a lot of money but if you have only a few capital then trading will make your life much harder.

If you want to earn a living with trading then only god can help you, as it is not a reliable source of income as it involves higher level of risk in it.

I think only a small minority inside Bitcoin are making full-time profit with it, Mostly they are exchanges support and owners and gambling website operators, I doubt even big exchangers are using it.

I think it is possible to make a full time profit from bitcoin with a sufficient amount of coins and effort put into it to reach a constant daily or monthly income, I don't think it is easy though.

Agree! You need to have special and rare skills to make a living through freelancing today. With starting of sites like Odesk (or Upwork) and others, the prices for freelancing work has been declined.

I agree with you.
I think also lucky ones among us, who joined bitcoin very early, and had faith and confidence to buy as much bitcoin as they could at that time, now surely have a lot BTC with much higher value.
Others, average users, can't make living with bitcoin unless bitcoin become mainstream in the near future and its value increase a lot, 10- 20 times or more Smiley
I'm not sure if we will see such development soon but it's still worth to hold BTC funds in the wallet and wait for something ''big'' to happen and price increase a lot.
Others ways to make living with Bitcoin, as creating on line businesses, exchangers etc, are still to risky.

I'm not making a living off of Bitcoin but I am making pretty good money in general that helps pay my bills etc.  I will  say only that I make over $1,000 a month so with Bitcoin I'll double that amount. I'll make 2-5 Bitcoin per month and then exchange it. If the price raises, I get even more money which is freaking great. So, in a nutshell, it's hard to make a living off of Bitcoin, but you sure can make some unstable income.

not only owners and operatres are getting full time profit. I know some freelancer and workers who are getting good profit from their works. they are working hard and getting reward for their hard work. if someone do hard work then no one can stop him to get good money. you can also earn a living with bitcoin if you start in good manners.

Yes if you have multiple skills then you can surely earn a living with it, depending only on signature campaign or trading will not earn you enough amount of bitcoins.

The only way we can eliminate this is if we can use bitcoin to finance our daily expenses without having to convert to fiat first. The day that is a norm, then we can live with bitcoin alone. I think this is possible but it will still take sometime before this comes true.

I can say if we work hard to earn about more that 1 Bitcoin then we can support our family easily and if we earn only a half of bitcoin then it is enough for our own living alone, just depend on your work and time you give to bitcoin daily. struggle hard you will be able to live with any work with any currency.

If we had more serious jobs with Bitcoin i could make a living with Bitcoin, but the only money that I have been able to get "for a job" is due signature campaigns, so no, I couldn't make a living on Bitcoin alone so I have to keep working on my regular job for fiat then get the Bitcoin.

Yeah thats true if you have no skills to earn and only signature campaign is your source of bitcoin its better to stay in your real job and make money..
And buy bitcoins if you want to increase your bitcoin..
You can live in bitcoin if you have skills like making a website and can you make a games like other gambling site..

anything is possible, so yes. bitcoin is a digital currency. We can earn it online, we can spend it online, even we can convert it to fiat money online. I am earning a living with bitcoin and I am from a country where bitcoin is still a mystery.

but that is, because you never know what can happen later in the future and that is the problem.
If the value is very low than you should have a lot, and if the value is high you dont need a lot of Bitcoin.

I don't think services, mining, signature campaigns and trading are stable incomes. For example 1 month noone will buy your services, the alt coin prices may crash to the ground, the signature campaigns may close shop and the trading may lead to a loss. Stable income is when you receive a fixed pay every month by an employer.

If you offer services and you have a good feedback to other who have tries your services then you will surely get a monthly income.
It really depends on how good you do your job,if you are sloppy then you wont get any monthly income.
It hard to have that of course. But you need to make an good investment and also have to work hard. That is important.
Otherwise it is not possible. But that also depends on the value that Bitcoin have and you never know that what it will be in the future.

Even if the price of bitcoin skyrockets we cannot afford to rely only on bitcoins, as we know that higher price is not permanent and it can fall back down in future.
But I think now is the time of bitcoin and hope that bitcoin will never destroy and will at least to to stability, so it is not a risk to adopt bitcoin to rely on it for our earning a living . The price will definitely increase more in the coming future.
