 they now have a war chest which will be used to build and compete with the best privacy coins in the world.

Yes, Verge does have a use case now which is helping driving its price down the drain further LOL. That is why in the past 24 yrs while the marketcap as whole has moved up and most coins are sitting in green, Verge has lost over 17% value.

You don't have even the elementary understanding of how/why/what makes the price moves. But this is exactly what I would expect from a typical dumb Verge fanboy

XVG is *still* up over  100% from this time last month. Once hard numbers come back, as well as the additional partners lined up and real-world use including access to direct fiat/XVG purchasing, we'll see who sits on the right side of this.

I wont deny that I am a little baffled by the magnitude of fall from 1400 to 750. I expected it to be 1000 saths max.

Why are many people not seeing which is clearly written on the wall. VERGE really has made a history by enabling a real life use of the currency (A philosophy being sold by rest of the 1500 cryptos but not made feasible yet).

It will unseed ETH from number 2 position in long run. But what is happening right-now is unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. But I am HODLING on!!!

I think it would be a great thing, if The VergeTeam and MindGeek would offer something like a promo like if you renew your package paying with verge, you will get a 10% discount.

There is NO renew possible with Verge, it is ONLY for the initial first signup possible to use Verge. Renews can be done ONLY by credit card. No idea how many more times i have to write that .....

Eventually at a later point this will be possible, but at current state it is not, so i would not count on whatever renew options soon!!!!

After Verge announced yesterday the partnership with Pornhub with great hype and probably too high expectations, the founder of Litecoin spoke up and was in favor of integrating Litecoin and other currencies.

As we reported yesterday, Verge revealed the "biggest partner the crypto world has ever seen". It is the pornographic website Pornhub. However, it should be added that Verge is actually working with MindGeek, not the website alone. Mindgeek also includes other similar platforms, such as YouPorn, RedTube, Brazzers, VideoBash and Mofos.

Regardless, Charlie Lee has been involved in the discussion about the new partnership as well.
He explains that this collaboration was very expensive for Verge and that it is time for Pornhub to accept "real currencies" like Litecoin, Bitcoin and Monero.
Afterwards, he criticized in more detail that in his opinion, it should not be necessary to buy a partner, but this should happen on a voluntary basis (translated freely):

I think it's a positive development to have more places to accept cryptocurrencies. But I hope you (Pornhub) will add more virtual currencies in the future. It is relatively difficult for users to buy Verge to use exclusively for Pornhub. It is a step in the right direction, but this precedent is not a good model for getting a partnership through bribery.
It should be noted that it is a matter of course for partnerships to pay a certain amount of oblation. Charlie Lee certainly wanted to cheer up the discussion and "tease" a bit.
