Marketing was and always will be trash for XVG. I thought Mindgeek was going to 'agressively market' XVG? Maybe they are waiting until there is a FIAT to XVG option, and if that option ever becomes available, it will be after a bunch of other higher tier coins.
Its just so frustrating to see how little volume XVG is receiving. How do you get over a billion one day and then a few days later it cannot even crack 100million?
Sigh.

With Pornhub the most significant partner on crypto background all they are doing is usually accepting XVG and other crypto as a payment option?
The partnership is exlusive with XVG. It's exclusive for now, but Mindgeek hinted that in the future they will look at incorporating other coins as well. |

Verge has been pump for more than 2 weeks in the past. Of course traders will be a little tired with it and wants to try other coins if more profit can be acquired. So don't blame verge devs and promoters over it. Even BCH after some pumps, goes on a slump. Until it needs to be pumped again. But now, verge application on pornhub is still on an early stage. Once community can realize xvg application on pornhub. I"m sure it will help raise xvg price. |

It is sad. Will wait We may be at these levels for some time to come, since there doesn't appear to be any immediate new announcements projected. It is frustrating that literally every other coin is mooning and all the while, we just move up and down 2-3 cents. I can't wait for new money to jump into Verge and get this thing moving again. |

about a week ago i bought verge price 0.0000085 btc, i thought it was the lowest price, then i saw btc price go up and altcoin price also go up, i was happy to see the btc price increase because i thought the verge price will go up but why the price is verge still low ... this makes a little frustrating  |

on April 17 is the highest price verge reached 0.000014 btc, then dropped drastically to 0.000007xx btc, positive issues and rising prices btc have not been able to raise the price verge
It only takes so long to realize that VERGE is better than Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Dash, Monero ....... etc .... It scares me a little bit that it takes so long until people notice! While i agree that the transfer is quiet cheap, there are others, even free for transfer. Decentralized? I personally have some other views on what is really decentralized, so i would no say its 100% decentralized. I wrote the above just to make clear that there is nothing special about it nowadays. If someone wants to outperform a competitor he must be best, not just good at something. I You as well forget another very important factor. 16,555,000,000 XVG Max. supply. This is a lot of Verge and means that every impact is measured in cents, not dollars as it would be with a coin of let's say 50M Max supply. About the numbers you have stated. If you really believe in these numbers you are somehow very optimistic. US$ 3.80 would mean a market cap of 62,909,000,000 US$. This simply will not be happen. If you settle the long term price at 0.50 USD than you make a very good profit too and won't be disapointed not reaching 1, 2 or 3 Dollars. Just by the way. 0.50 USD for a 16.5B coin is quiet impressive as well. Just check out how many XRPs are there and what was its All Time High and MCap. Is it faster than XVG? Is it decentralised? Is is the best coin? Answers to all these questions is a BIG NO. Fuck its not even based on Blockchain Technology!!!! XRP is a shitcoin with marketing done right. XVG is coin with a great potential with marketing done wrong. In long run the success is decided by the usability and not by marketing. P.S.: Replace TRX by XRP in above and the argument still holds true. I agree absolutly with you on TRX and XRP, the reason i do not hold TRX and XRP, both totally overprized in another hype. These coins will lose value for sure, XRP did allready. TRX to follow as well, you will see. So your example does not stand up. Just because you have 2 totally overprized and overvalued coins does not mean every coin should be overprized. Better stay will reality and when some overvalue/overprize be happy you are in the boat, but counting on it is just plain wrong in an investement calculation. So again, calculate some seriously that fits the normal laws of trading, exchanges and and and. If it goes beyound that, great, you make even more profit, but never count on that as it will only result in disappointment. You see this allready by the comments by many now. Why is only Verge sidewards or in red while all other are in green. It's because the price corrects, it was overvalued, easy as that. This said, never lose contact to the ground dude. And do not forget, from 0.03 to 0.06 is actually a huge improvement and raise in price. Even 20, maybe 50 cents are possible at some time, but 3.80? You just won't see that with 35B max supply, easy as that. Of course feel free to dream about it, but later also remember you have told so :-) |

Be sure that no trader is going to get tiered when he can smell a profit. Its just a price correction and that is the reason why it is not moving with BTC and other altcoins. Once XVG settles again on its actual unhyped price it again will move and fall more or less with BTC and the other coins, easy as that. And by the way, its only frustrating because many of you had too high expections, be it about the deal, its influence, XVG price or whatever is asociated. from 0.03 to 0.06/7 is a good price improvement. Don't be frustrated on that one, it could have been way worse, so better enjoy the good improvement than frustrate on your own failed prediction. |

With Verge being one of the few coins in the red at the moment, and experiencing a correction after the pre-announcement pump. My gut is telling me that Verge will be looking like it's at fire sale prices when the big money players are satisfied with their alt coin profits and begin to rake those in. What they gonna do with all that BTC? HODL? nah...they gonna sell that BTC to buy up Verge so that they can get even more profit later on when they sell their Verge at its next ATH.
^pure speculation, but that's what I'd be doing if I was a rich son bitch. Don't be so worried about being in the red right now...this might be a really good situation actually!

I have not synced my wallet since February. At the present time it will not sync. Wallet will get to about 89% and goes no further. Tried several times. Anyone else having issues? Suggestions?

Check IP links for the required updates; if you haven't updated your wallet yet, you're not even on the current blockchain. Backup and download the official Github downloads for Verge wallet. Thank you for reply. How do I check IP links for updates? With the initial downloaded wallet I only needed was to create a password. If I do another download will the password be sufficient to open wallet? I have a backup.dat |

Exactly, this means NO exclusivity garanteed, hence the word is in wrong use it that sentence. Definition of Exclusive: " limited/restricted to only one person or group of people" This said it's obviously NOT exclusive, even not now as no such exclusivity for Verge has been agreed on. Mindgeek can add other coins whenever they desire to do so, again, that is far from being exclusive! I agree that exclusive sounds good, but it is just not the case. |
