Why a sickness? Then let's consider video games addiction, smoking addiction, alcohool adiction and every single one a Sickness. Isn't it the same thing? Spending $10 on cigarettes or playing with $10 in a casino. Even though it's risky and most of us just loose, it's just our addiction.. not the others' problem if we want to loose our money like that.

wow very well said im agree with this , its same in gambling because we are addicted on some bad habbit , we always spend our money in smoke alchohool drugs ( if you uses drugs before) and if you are going to play in casinos or with your friend you always take the risk and it always you risk your selves before of this addiction if we dont want to lose our money let's just save it for our future purposes someday

This is a common happen to almost gamblers out there. or even you are just gamble for fun.. while they are halving fun it can trigger their self to deposit more because they are not contented to gamble.

This remark is in reference to the above statement that made from socks435.  I am sorry, but I have to completely disagree with you on this.  Gambling, like drugs, is a sickness and there is no worse addiction compared to any other addiction.  The fact that it is an addiction is the issue.  Gambling may not hurt your body, but it hurts relationships and those you love.  You can end up homeless and with nothing to eat.  You may not be physically messed up, but it is no fun living by yourself when you loose everyone else around you.  White Men Can Not Jump - Great example.  Lost love.

For all others, gambling is just for fun. There are also many people who can control their gambling activities. Some can not and those need help.

The fun there is when you keep winning but when the other way happens you will regret getting into gambling as money is all important to us. Just do the most important in gambling which is to enjoy in order to call gambling as an entertainment rather than a sickness.

There is no guarantee that you will not be addicted to gambling if you are.doing it. The more you do gambling, the more the risk of you being addicted. Even if yoh are just playing for fun, you can be addicted to it and could ruin your life.

He must be really lucky as you say but he would need to provide us some evidence in order for us to believe him. Its a rare case to see anyone winning it all from gambling. I never heard of such person so far so I think a little bit more than just a sentence I earn it all from gambling to explain to us how he does it. I am trying to win in gambling also but I am losing more than I am winning and thats the sad truth for many gamblers in the world.

Gambling, just like any other things in life, when done in excessive way, is already bad and can be considered as a sickness. However, if you just gamble for fun and moderately, which is by the way gambling is designed at the very beginning - for entertainment, then your are not sick. The only time it is bad is when you become too much addicted to it that you already spend money that you cannot afford to lose.
