I like the above logo, since it has not that many dots as the first version, however I think the green should be really changed to warm orange.

Can you please change all the green colours in the logo to warm orange and post it again here?

I think it will look great Smiley

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

so how can i use elastic to some computing?

which usecase elastic support and what's the step for this?

thank you very much

maybe just a very easy question:

1 can i use elastic to mine BTC
2 can i use elastic to do some scientific computering
3 what's the difference elastic with some other super computer?
4 so elastic will be a community super computer?
5 any store we need when we do the computering?
6 how many nodes we need to make elastic a super computer, maybe 3000 nodes or 10000 nodes ?

sorry for so many questions.

i like XEL

According to EK, that whitepaper is incorrect.

It's been quite awhile since the ICO ended, and the tokens are still not distributed? When can we expect this to be done?

Is the product being tested on testnet now or not yet? any ETA?

What if I told you, we are not alone in this world?

If you bothered to take the necessary time to go through this thread you would know that the system has seen several testnet iterations so far and is still being tested at the moment.
Mainnet will be done once the system is stable, ready and as debugged as possible, and that takes time (and will take as much as needed). In the meanwhile, if you really want to hold some traded tokens, you can buy some Golems to satisfy the itch.

Yes, XEL is in testnet at this time. We don't have a set date  for the  Mainnet yet. Hope you stick around and spread the great news of XEL's  arrival soon !
Thank you for your inquiry   Smiley

It's going to be soon. It's still at testnet. Everything should be tested well before release.

Don't use the current git! New features are coming soon  Wink And a first real use case.
The new feature will be a "storage" for jobs. So jobs can be created with multiple "iterations".

This works like this:
1. In the first round bounties are submitted normally. Al bounty submissions have attached a "storage" value - this is basically data that the work author wants to "keep". The storage is filled from within the Elastic PL program.
2. When the maximum number of bounties is reached, the job goes into iteration 2 (and 3 and 4 ...) where the job can reuse the "storage" from other iterations.
3. The job is closed when ITERATIONS*MAX_BOUNTIES Bounties are reached.

Why do we need this? Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithms, and any other optimization technique which is iteration-based and needs information from the prior iteration.

Not sure if the 10 bounty limit is not too low at this point. Will finish the implementation tomorrow, then we can test it!
