So.. thats it ? I bring up what should be a topic of concern and all I get is ridicule and a few dumbasses that found the 'ignore' link. lmao I guess miners like seeing their reward estimates drop when the pool f's up aaand no one has any hard data on how fair DGM really is. pffft See, here you go making stuff up again. There's plenty of proof that DGM is fair. You can calculate exactly how fair it is from the data on Ozcoin's website, if you had the inclination. If you can't figure out how to do that yourself, then learn - no one is born knowing how DGM works. I don't want to see any more estimates or calculations. I want to see some raw data. Lets be clear here. I have no beef nor am I implying anything with regards to the Ozcoin pool or Graet. All I've done is ask questions about two separate issues.

Pool has been acting up for the last 24 hours. I have a couple rigs with dual 7970s and they're mining fine. I closed CGMiner and restarted and Ozcoin comes up as a dead pool (can't connect). Also the pool just disconnected all miners for about 3 minutes from 3 different locations (2 in Los Angeles and 1 in Seattle area) so I know it's not an internet issue on my end. Graet can you check on it?

Yeah stratum.ozco.in:80 is dropping all my miners and then accepting shares and then dropping. I'm losing shares left and right to CGMiner jumping back and forth even with --failover only.

All my miners just got kicked off the US servers and the website went down for a minute. Graet something going on? Pool has been really unstable like this last 3 nights (early morning for you) All miners (3 different IPs) went down at 2013-02-25 06:33:18 according to website (that's about 25 min ago). Oddly all the rigs seem to be submitting shares though

while wayno was working on the mysql we found 3 blocks, the display glitched, if you look under previous rounds in the blue sidebar you see the blocks were paid, just the display has 0 shares Only happens when we find 2 blocks very close together, working on fixing the issue

Hi Graet, I am being refused connection to http://us.ozco.in:8332 via BTCMiner (Ztex). It looks like the server is up according to the website. Any clues?

Just woke up after a let night to find us.ozco.in server has had issues ecoinpool (getwork) is still down, I will have to try to contact ecoinpool's author for a fix stratum is working fine for the moment the only getwork (and merged mining) server working is eu.ozco.in:8332 I will sedit the website to reflect this

eu.ozco.in should be up now
I'd like to again encourage miners to move to stratum servers, unfortunately ecoinpool isn't being updated and also runs on an older version of bitcoind, unless we can get some updates those servers will be have to be decommissioned when block version2 takes over. Miners on stratum are finding very low stale rates and some have found it increases their hashrate slightly as the miner always has work cued cheers Graet
I hope not i cant use stratum for some reason it causes my network to lag so bad webpages take mins or wont load at all but getwork has no problems at all.

Try switching from one to the other and see if it makes a difference. Stratum uses less bandwidth, so it shouldn't be bogging down your network.

I hope not i cant use stratum for some reason it causes my network to lag so bad webpages take mins or wont load at all but getwork has no problems at all. I still say something screwy is going on with your router. Check for buffer bloat, TCP prioritization, if your router supports that and do a wireshark capture of your network to see what percentage of packets and bandwidth is being consumed by your mining traffic. On my network the biggest user of bandwidth is my Bitcoin client yesterday it consumed 1.7GB where my getwork 35Mhs/s miner consumed 1.8MB and my stratum traffic didn't even make the to 10 in network usage. The bitcoin client sometimes gets up to 3 or 4 GB of data a day and will use almost 2Mbps of peak bandwidth. That seems to make my network a little sluggish. Been thinking of shutting the client down. Anyway the description of your problem just makes no sense so it calls for some more advanced trouble shooting/information gathering as opposed to just not using stratum. Sam
