are you asking for real answers here? the answer is always going to be biased depending on the person so i dont get what people try to get from threads like this.
Ill always say buy bitcoins because I have bitcoins and want the price to rise, people who want the latter are going to say sell,
if your asking for trading advice id say that its best to go with your gut and not let someone else do your trading for you, at least if your wrong you blame yourself and can try to get better / learn from mistakes where as if you trade on someone elses advice your just blaming someone else and will also be blaming yourself for listening to someone else with your own money, catch 22 is appropriate here right?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Markets are about group psychology. Threads like this are an attempt to judge the sentiment distribution.

You can't really compare the situation of June 2011 with now: https://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=%22buy%20bitcoins%22&date=1%2F2011%2026mNotice how there was practically no search volume until right before the bubble, whereas now you have 6+ months of solid growth in people that were obviously trying to buy bitcoins. Back then the overwhelming majority of people tried to buy bitcoins only days/weeks after they first heard about it which made many panic on the subsequent plunge. Now you have a much larger group of people who know Bitcoin quite well and made strategic investments or have an immediate use for Bitcoin. A good portion of these people is probably also trying to increase their Bitcoin position, as the steady price increase has led to more confidence in the longer term viability, which will dampen upcoming price dips. tl;dr: If we are in a bubble right now, it is very unlike the one in June 2011.

Agreed with the statement above,
now and then are 2 different situations considering the amount of growth bitcoin has been exposed to over the past year,
If you have clear vision the large spike to 32 and down happened in a matter of 2 weeks, the growth we have seen has been slow and steady for the past year,
more hands are coming into play and the hands that were once strong 1 year ago are now being normalized via being joined by other bigger players / smaller players becoming bigger players

Haha oh wow, I never thought of using the "buy bitcoins" search term. Thanks for sharing! This shows much more than "Bitcoin" trends alone. I'd not interpret too much into the "sell Bitcoin" term though, since anyone who has bought on an exchange doesn't need to ask Google how to sell.

Crash, by definition, is something there's no early signs of. Today's dips are someone selling their coins. When everybody wants to sell coins and nobody wants to buy coins, you get a crash. Obviously enough, some people bought out coins which were sold today.
PS I like how you completely stole design from coinbase, way to go! Solid and sound business idea there. Just like your posts.
