Hello I'm a newbie to mining. I am using an AMD A6 proc and only getting 10kHash/s through wallet mining, is this a normal Hash rate?

Is there anyway I can make some adjustments to have a higher hash rate?

May I know, how much you are earning with it?

I just started about an hr ago and don't see any earnings yet
I have an i7 laptop and I have 22khs i get some 50k espers per 10 hours mining from the wallet

Ouch, so I guess I'll be getting less than 50k ESP per 10hrs then. Is Pool mining better than Wallet mining? Please advise

I tried solo about 2 hrs and did not get 1 block, but in pool i got around 100k in that time.

More info needed, there are many A6 processors.

It's an AMD A6 5400K APU, not sure if other computer components matters but I only have 4gb RAM and no dedicated Video Card.

I hate to say it but the processor is weak for mining.

I mine on a lot of crap cpus like Q9300, Athlon II X2 2800+, E8400 core2duo LOL. I still get like 400k / day almost I think.

Geez.. I'm done today guys. Espers was exhausting on the market. Though totally worth it right?

So let's start an interesting question. Is it worth it to invest in a new CPU specifically for mining, like how you would purchase a GPU for mining? What's the ROI looking like on some? I can't get a decent esper / day. The pool's really inaccurate and solo, i can't tell because I use too many cpus.

Question - how do I know how many cores are being used by the wallet for mining?

Is there an option to change the number of cores to use? If yes, will using more cores increase the hash rate?

Sorry, just a newbie in mining

wallet - console - setgenerate true x  (x=number of cores or -1 for all cores)

I just burned 150 mill espers by doing a reset on windows 10 on one of my mining rigs. I forgot they were in that wallet.  Grin no there are less than 500 bill coins  Wink

Edit

I found the wallet.dat in the windows.old folder. There's 500 bill coins again lol
