hopefully they are smart enough to not release a ridiculously hopeful early deadline like this time for whatever name they come up with for the next magical fix.
They said it would be possible to do the rebase on January 22, on Feb 5 there isn't a working windows wallet.

So does this mean the wallet works now? Or did you mean to post this on Slack or a different forum?

I guess that we need to add the word "working" to the list of words that we need a special ION - English dictionary to understand what exactly is going on here.

so the found a random fix on someones github that says fixes crashes? I wouldn't read too much into the butchered wording of that phrase, it could simply mean "our genius ionomy developers worked day and night and found a way to fix this", but nonetheless the whole execution of this "rebase" was done pretty much on the level of Garza's infamous "coinings". Luckily they only have a couple dozen ION bagholders left, and even fewer are capable or willing to run their own wallet so the "team" can get away with these shenanigans. The only reason they care at all is Bittrex, otherwise they might as well drop the whole "crypto" excuse and go full PNG. Or use a working coin with side chains and/or smart contracts. Although they could probably screw that up too.

When you have unskilled monkeys jumping from tree to tree, this is what happens. Maybe the game will be "alright", but the coin is a fucking disaster. Their arrogance is what will destroy the project erm, not let the project work. The coin is USELESS, except to try and make the XPY bag holder morons whole again.

It looks like they're not really sure if they've fixed the issues or not yet. Realistically getting crypto gravity out in February is probably not going to happen now. You've got to wonder at this point if they'll actually release a single game before their one year anniversary.

ION is taking upwards of 9 hours to transfer coins and a member then pointed out that BTC takes days to confirm. What fucking cool aid are these idiots drinking? Right now ION is waaaaaay slower than BTC. These fools will say any lie to make ION seem better than BTC. This joke of a project should be shit down asap.
LOL...bitcoin transactions now take days to confirm according to the ION fools.
They are incapable of not telling lies to make their "coin" look good.

It's especially stupid because the reasons for slow BTC transactions (full blocks) and the way to fix it (higher fees snd/or bigger blocks) are known. While ion blocks appear to be moving but transactions are not.

I've never seen a group of people so excited about delays and mistakes. Every fuck up is a positive for them. And they are smoking crack if they think getting ION in bittrex is going to do anything for that joke of a coin. They just want to dump on unsuspecting victims to make themselves whole again. I want what they're smoking cause apparently my shit ain't good enough.

Also, I'd be surprised if Huey or 'the team' dumped the premine when it gets listed, simply because they only really have the followers they have now because of their apparent reputation with them as a morally upstanding team; if they dump the premine they'll undo that and alienate their user base. If I were a moderate Ion holder I'd be more concerned about the whales, to be honest, and what they do once it's listed. This is all bunk anyway until they actually solve the problems they're having and implement a solution.

How would anyone know if the "team" dumped it? After the "rebase" we essentially have a 16.4 million premine, which includes all the original coins plus inflation and the "team" still controls most of it with no transparency to speak of. So they clearly have a shit ton of coins (2-3 million unaccounted from the ICO leftovers plus the millions they staked in the last 8-9 months) that can be dumped while keeping it quiet/denying/obfuscating/blaming on trolls etc. They have been slowly dumping via stakers and other "promotions". Why stop if Bittrex opens more possibilities. Even if it becomes public I think @MrCoins already has an excuse ready - something about the ICO not bringing in the expected amount or some such bullshit. This was one of the excuses for the game delay, i.e. less funds from the ICO == slow development (which makes no sense BTW - how would slow development use less funds to achieve the same result?). Anyway, everything hinges on how "nice" they really are. And we've already seen how that's been working out. Six or seven weeks from the one year anniversary and the greatest achievement so far is the FUBARed coin.

they have been dumping the premine off market via stakers, electrons, boosts, hashlets, whatever.
At least with xpy there was something in the coin that made the coins given out in the stakers.
Bittrex probably won't do much, but if anything maybe some people will wake up and get out when listing on another exchange doesn't pump up the price like they are hoping.
