Any update for 1070 and windows 10 mining ?

Question - Has anyone experienced the BSOD with the Evga GTX 1070 SC and Windows 10 Pro 64 bit?  Specifically this error: Video_TDR_Failure (NVLDDMKM.SYS)

It doesn't happen often however I have only had this issue on my new rig.

System:
Windows 10 Pro
32 gb DDR3 Ram - Corsair
240 gb SSD - Ultra II Sandisk
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX
AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300

Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this and what your fix was?

Thanks - pokeytex

what are core and mem, maybe you are pushing them too far? i've expereinced it in this case only, when oc was very high beyond the limit

that's why he should try lower them. It's a frequency/voltage ram issue

It's possible that EVGA have gone a bit too far, especially with lbry algo.

Gaming it's one thing, mining another.

Hehe and it is even worst, in win 10 go to device manager find your Gf card, right click and update drive, >whoala you got 369.09 whql drivers whitch works super awsome with my 1070fe, yet no word from nvidia even on >forums :DDDDD

Seem to be running fine over here after W10 anniversary update and do a update driver check in the device manager, to find the 369.09 driver.

Which coins are currently profitable in windows at the moment for the GTX 1070

I was trying to set up Vertcoin but the miner just closes shortly after launching when using the one from the official site, and any guides just direct me to nonexistent removed miners

The Ethereum ETC or ETH are profitable to mine with most efficient cards like 1070, R9 390 or R9 Nano or RX 480.

i see on etheruem forum someone made it work, what is the error you get when you launch the miner?

i think there is a modification to do in the folder of the driver, it's not plug and play

It seems the speed is quite low, just 25 MH/s for each 1070. That is similar speed to the AMD RX 480.

yeah it work for me too, even simpler, just let win 10 install the drivers, uninstall the precedent one that's it

now i'm getting 27MH at 120w, you need to increase the mem very high apparently like above +1000

with +600 on the mem i'm getting 30MH

no you can oc the mem to a crazy value like +1600 and you get 33MH and the wattage just increase by 20w, but you get 8MH more

Haha better than 4 mh per card. Maybe with more optimization in the future it could get higher.

Edit: nvm see above.

yeah but it's good to have a backup just in case, and etc might not go to pos

i still think that even if lbry will die, a new lbry will emerge, it's always like that in this place, endless p&d opportunity

Would anybody be able to help me with setting up Genoil 1.1.7?

Getting no help in this thread for ethereum set up let alone anything. All I can find when searching are guides for other miners or older versions of Genoil that have different files than what I have.
